Ken Jobs, the owner of Jobs Mechanical, and his crew were stupendous! Ken came out to meet me two or three days after I called for an estimate. He came highly recommended from a colleague of mine who has been using Jobs Mechanical for 10 years. There was no sales pitch, just an honest discussion about what type of AC and heating units would be best for me. Ken does business by word-of-mouth (no flashy advertising) and runs a small, but very efficient an effective heating and cooling business. He is licensed and has all the right business credentials. His work and commitment to his customers speak for itself. I believe it took under 2 weeks for Ken to get me an estimate and set up my 2 installs. For $9543.99 (which includes a 3.965% tax) I got two new Rheem 14.5 SEER AC units (3 ton and 4 ton), plus two new Rheem 75K 80 AFUE gas furnaces (which is just fine for the southwest), plus new electrical run in a conduit from my electrical box outside to the AC units. I also got two new Honeywell programmable thermostats. This cost also included all the sheet metal duct transitions, removing and discarding the old units, etc.--everything needed for the two installs. The job took two men two full 8-10 hours days to get the job done. My old units were 25+ years old. I cannot put into word how pleased I am with the workmanship of Ken and his team of two men that helped on my two installs. I will be using Jobs Mechanical from here on out to maintain my two units. Included in this pirce, Ken will come back out in October to reinspect and start my furnace and then in the spring to start my AC again, making sure everything is working properly. Warranty: 2 years labor, 5 years all Rheem.
Description of Work: Installed two new AC units and heating units, plus 2 inside thermostats.

The workman showed up on time, worked around my schedule and the cost of the project was as quoted. I have been using Jobs Mechanical for a number of years for my heater and swamp cooler and I have always found the company to be reasonably priced, professional and prompt. Several years ago JM replaced my cooler and I was pleased with the work that was completed at that time. When I decided to install central A/C, there was no doubt who was going to do the work. I am very happy with the company.
Description of Work: Central A/C was installed.

As usual, fine. (The date given is approximate.) This company has prepped the furnace and evap cooler in my rental property as each season changed for 7 years. They always do a good job and charge a fair price. I also spoke to the owner about installing a new hearing and cooling system and got clear and specific information. I trust them.

They came out and examined the unit and determined that it needed a thorough cleaning as it had not been serviced in quite a while. The service person had to take the entire unit out so they could get to the actual coils and clean them and did this and then soldered it back in place. They were very knowledgeable about the system and seemed to do a good job. This is the 3rd company we have had out and they showed up promptly, were very professional and certainly seemed the most knowledgeable about the system.
Description of Work: They thoroughly cleaned the inside heat pump and adjusted the charge and serviced the A.C.

Overall this was a good experience. They gave a professional and competitive bid, were straight forward and the installation held to the cost. There installation crew was not their best team; so this was my only complaint. One guy smelled of marijuana and their work reflected it. The installation wasn't flush and their removal of the old furnace left air gaps. I accepted this work because I trusted them since they came highly recommended. When my husband came back in town after being away on business during installation and saw some of their mistakes (nothing huge), he called Ken. Ken came out right away and when my husband pointed them out, Ken apologized and fixed them right away.
