 + -1 moreThey were recommended by a family and they were superb. They were very professional. Their work is superior. I would absolutely recommend them to others. The quality of their work was very good. It was just absolutely out of this world. I think the price was very fair. There is nothing I can say against them at all. I intend on using them again.
Description of Work: I used JG Painting Inc for exterior painting. They did the outside trim and they did the patio and cover and things like that.

 + 0 moreOverall everything went very well . His crew is courteous, professional and they take pride in the job they are performing. The job they have performed is outstanding. On the final day, on three different occasions, cars driving through my street has stopped by and asked who painted the house. Actually Jesse was there too, so they spoke with Jesse about their painting needs. I cannot recommend JG painting enough. We might be new in this region but we found ourselves a painting company for life ! . . . .
Description of Work: We have relocated to Tucson from PA, since ours is a corporate relocation we needed to find a house and move in in a relatively short time. After buying the house we picked Jesse off of the Angies list to paint the interior and exterior of our new home. However he didn't have an opening for us to do the interior immediately (we had only 5 days to get the interior painted before our furniture arrived). so we picked another painter for the interior. I do regret not waiting for Jesse though. I didn't like the job done by the other painter The price he gave us for the exterior included some extensive/water proofing repairs to the certain areas of the stucco. Anyway, as soon as I got the approval from HOA for the colors we have picked for the exterior of our new home, I called Jesse on a Wednesday, to tell him we are all set to go. He told us he can start on Monday. Next day I saw on the TV that rain was expected for the weekend. I called Jesse at 8 pm, and he told me he has seen the weather report for the weekend, and he will be coming to our house to do the repairs/water proofing, before the rain arrives. Next day 7:30 am he was at the door with his tools and coating supplies and he PERSONALLY took care of the necessary repairs before the rain arrives, for the weekend. He is an excellent professional. In todays world even the large companies have a lot to learn from Jesse in terms of customer service.

 + -1 moreI called Jesse to see if he could meet us in a home in Arizona that we had recently purchased. He showed up on time to give us an estimate and was able to start at 6:00 am the next day. Jesse was extremely professional and courteous. He even suggested painting the space above our kitchen cupboards which I hadn't thought of doing. It looks great so we were glad he made the suggestion. Jesse and Joe worked very well together and if they noticed something that didn't look just perfect to them, they fixed it. They were in and out of the house within seven hours and they did a spectacular job. Our plain, boring walls were transformed in just a few hours. We will definitely call Jesse at JG Painting again!
Description of Work: This job consisted of the following: Jesse picked up the paint we had chosen at Dunn and Edwards. Jesse and Joe painted a wall that runs the entire length of the house in the family room a beautiful charcoal color. They painted the tops of two half walls, the fireplace, and above the kitchen cabinets a darker brown color. They painted two office walls and one large wall in the master bedroom a gorgeous orange color. They painted two alcoves using the charcoal color. They took down all the blinds and put them back up. They left the work spaces immaculate and even brought a broom to sweep up the entranceway on their way out the door.

Description of Work: I was looking to get a bid. Unfortunately the owner who was going to give a bid had a death in the family. He let me know he could not make his appointment and was very apologetic not making the appointment. He had nothing to apologize for as losing a family member is way more important than a bid.

 + -1 moreWe were trying to finish up a lot of odd jobs around our home before leaving. Realizing we just did not have the time to do it ourselves, we called JG Painting. They did an amazing job on all of it and made sure that I was happy with the results. The owner and worker were very professional. Also, they understood our short time table and helped us on short notice.
Description of Work: Texture our bathroom walls and ceiling. Texture a large wall in our rec. room. install corner bead on the windows. Paint all of the above. Four doors needed staining or painting. Installed moulding and painted/stained. Facia scrapped and repainted.

 + 0 moreI recently bought a home in Tucson that had been poorly cared for by the previous owner. There were water stains throughout on the ceilings and in cabinets. Painting had been done inexpertly and was very patchy. Jesse was quick to respond and behaved with consummate professionalism throughout. I had a deadline to have all work complete including roof replacement, A/C upgrade, floor remodel, etc. Jesse and his crew worked over the weekend to accomodate the schedule of the other contractors. Everything was properly prepared on the first day. Jesse and his team had all windows and other areas properly taped and covered. The work Jesse and his team did on cabinets and ceiling areas where water intrusion had left damage was remarkable. I paid a premium, in fact twice as much as another quote, but I do not regret it as the outcome was amazing. I highly recommend Jesse for your painting and cabinet restoration. *** Note: Jessie did not honor the Angie's List coupon. When I presented it to him, he claimed it was not something he had ever offered. He stated he was confused why it was offered at the site as it had not been extended by his business.
Description of Work: Fixed significant water damage to ceilings and cabinets. Painted interior of 1000 Sq Ft Central Tucson home acquired in a short sale and not cared for by previous owner.

Paint fascia, porch; paint wrought iron on block wall, and on gate; apply stain on wood gate. Apply Elastomeric paint to roof. I received a five year guarantee for exterior walls; one year for roof.

 + -1 moreHector was a few minutes late but called ahead. He prepped the area quickly (tape, drop clothes, patched holes, etc) and applied 2 coats of a cocoa color in both bedrooms (walls only). He started at 9:30a and was cleaned up and out the door by 3p. We requested a satin-like finish (they were kids bedrooms) and he applied it beautifully. He was very easy to talk to and was very polite when I interupted him a few times to see how things were going. I would definitely call Hector again!

 + 1 moreThey did beautiful work. The kitchen cabinets look brand new, even though they are over 20 years old. They do an excellent job of keeping things clean while painting and cleaning up when the job is finished.
Description of Work: They painted interior doors, trim, hallway and bedroom. They also painted all the kitchen cabinets, two exterior doors, front yard gate and wrought iron pillars on back porch.

 + -1 moreJesse always answers his phone and arrives promptly. He's friendly and professional. He and his helper prepped all rooms and covered all furniture and floors prior to painting. His attention to detail is outstanding. Such nice, sharp, lines between paint colors. They were in and out within a day and a half. Nice cleanup also. I can't say we received the best price since we did not get any other estimates after meeting Jesse.
Description of Work: Painted the living, dining, laundry rooms plus kitchen and hallway. We provided the paint but he gave us his discount at Dunn Edwards which saved us a bunch!

 + -1 moreThe price was reasonable but the company we used gave us a price that was $300 less. They were good. They did a good measurement and pointed out everything that needed to be done. They estimated very high on one beam that had to be filled. They didn't get the work but they were prompt about showing up for the estimate and the guy was very professional. We would give them a chance again if we have another one to do.

Description of Work: In preparation for a house sale, Jesse and crew responded to immediate repainting of several places in my home. JG called back quickly and we arranged to meet the next day. Jesse had many excellent ideas and explained some of the details about their approach to the job that would insure a quality result. I was very impressed. He followed up with a written quote by email later that evening. We decided to proceed with the job and the use JG. They started almost immediately and did an excellent job. We were particularly impressed with all the prep work and attention to detail. We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this company. They are not just excellent painters but also acted throughout the process with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.

Description of Work: JG Painting resurfaced all interior walls then painted these interior walls according to my color choices. Jesse Gonzales was very helpful in making suggestions about color choices and trim treatment options. They also painted the exterior of my home, including wire-brushing all the exposed wood and treating it with appropriate stain. Metal hardware was painted with the appropriate paint as well. The house itself was spray painted then back-rolled. Both the interior and the exterior look beautiful!
