Our experience with JG Painting was excellent. Read reviews on Angie's List and there were no bad reviews for them. Called to schedule a consult and spoke to Jesse the owner. He was at our house within an hour. He was polite, professional and easy to get along with. Gave us an estimate for painting our 2 story, 2800 sq. ft. house, including pressure washing, repairing all surfaces and 2 coats of premium paint. His estimate was very competitive and he said work would be about 3 weeks out. After considering other options we scheduled with JG. A week and a half later, he said his crews would be out the next morning to pre-wash the house. Our H.O.A. required us to match existing paint scheme but could not offer any of the current colors or where to get them. Jesse tracked down that info for us and matched it perfectly. Crew showed up ON TIME, which is a miracle with construction crews and they were professional as well. Next day the showed up to repair any surfaces that needed it and began painting. By Noon on the 3rd day, they had put on 2 coats of premium paint and were done. Crew went over the completed job with us to make sure we were satisfied. They cleaned up all their mess and left our yard looking as it did before they arrived. House looked awesome! Couldn't have been more satisfied. Would not hesitate to call them for the next project.

I now know what a good paint job involves. The attention to detail was superb. I have a 26 year old stucco house and I didn't see the hairline cracks that Jesse's men saw and sealed. I feel that this was the best prep job I have ever had. I have worked with a few contractors in the last 2 1/2 years. Work habits and work ethics in my eyes are as important as the job itself. Jesse's men were polite, quiet and steady workers who seemed to appreciate their job and their employer. I asked many questions. Jesse and his men took great pains to address everyone of my concerns. They helped to reassure me that my house was being maintained to the best of their ability. I hope to hire JG Painting again and am happy to recommend to anyone who needs a good paint contractor. They were not the lowest bid we got, nor the highest, but we felt that Jessie took the time to really look at the house and what was needed before he bid. The crew was careful in setting up and keeping things tidy even though a bit of weather delayed the job in the middle of their work for a couple of days. They did a wonderful job on the house, it looks so much better. Jessie even helped us find just the right color when we couldn't make up our minds. He stopped by after the job was finished to go over everything with my husband and make sure it was done to both their satisfaction, and even did a tiny bit of touch up that neither of us had noticed. We will definitely use this company again when we pain the interior!

The painter was on time and did fast, competent and professional job. I was very satisfied and will use him again if needed.

The team of 3 men were always on time, pleasant to have around and the paint work was very professional. The work took 4 days and a few hrs. on the 5th and they made sure that everything was cleaned up and returned back to where I wanted it. They were even great with my little dog who will certainly miss them. I can definitely recommend JG Painters. I had another bid for the work that was higher.

Jesse Gonzalez came by and wrote an estimate over the week of 8/5. I looked at other providers and, based partly on the estimate contents (details of the work and, yes, cost!) and partly on Angie's List reviews, selected his company to do the job. JG Painting ? Jesse and four of his staff ? painted my house over the week of 8/19-8/23/2013. They prepped a rusting wrought iron fence, scraped peeling and distressed wood, applied wood filler as needed and repaired some lightly damaged stucco. They applied two coats of the original color (by the original manufacturer) but upgraded the top coat to a velvet, rather than matte finish for better durability. They also applied new stain to some wood-finished accent windows and, without being asked, repainted my mailbox. And, they cleaned up after themselves nicely. I've now looked over the work closely twice, the second time when Jesse came by to review the work. I've found no problems. It's rare I write an Angie's List review so glowing of a vendor, but these guys were outstanding. I highly recommend them.

His crew of 4 arrived on time, went to work immediately, worked extremely well together, and was very nice and responsive to our needs. We highly recommend Jesse for any future painting needs. All in all a great experience! They were fast and did an excellent job.

Jesse came by and gave me the estimate. We arranged for a day for him to do the work. He provided the paint and he and his crew were able to finish the job in one day. They did a great job.

Arrived exactly at the day / time we scheduled. Prompt to the minute. appropriately covered the front patio where he was working and quickly got started. Removed the door and covered the entry with plastic. Door was sanded and refinished exactly as we discussed and matched the original stain color very close. The finished product is fantastic.... The door looks brand new. Very neat. Very prompt. And very high quality service. Would recommend and use in the future.

Jesse Gonzalez came to the residence within 2-3 days of initial contact. I had an estimate with scope of work detailed within 48 hours. Upon my notifying Jesse that the job was his, we set a date. On that day crews were here, went right to work, scope of job was large, and the men had a definite approach to the process. Completion was interrupted by inclement weather, but as soon as the elements allowed, Jesse's men were right back on schedule. Outcome was excellent, and Jesse was constantly on site, so there were no issues.

We have no complaints. Workers were excellent. This is the second time we have used JG Painting. We highly recommend this company.

Our relationship with Jesse and his crew was excellent. They were friendly with our two dogs. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. We were extremely please with the quality of their work.

Jesse scheduled to look at the job for a Monday, but then had time earlier, phoned to see if that would work for us, came by and gave us a quote. His schedule was full but he said his crew would like to make some extra Christmas money and so scheduled them for that Sunday. He arrived with the crew at 7:00 am Sunday, introduced us and made sure they knew what to do. Jesse is efficient, professional, and deals with his crew with great respect and consideration. The team was very pleasant to have in our home. They were even nice to our dogs when they got into the paint. We have always done our own interior painting and phoned Jesse because some of our ceilings are very high. We will just phone him next time.

They were on time, neat, and did a great job. We had gotten several estimates. Jesse was not the lowest or highest, but we were impressed with him and he proved to be an excellent contractor. I plan to use him in the future to do some interior painting.

Excellent! Jesse attended to every detail from assessing the needs to following through with a last minute change that I made. The whole crew was very skilled and very professional. Since then I've called Jesse with questions about the colors and types of paint used, and had him come back to paint my ramada and refresh all the wood posts and beams in the ramada.

Jesse Gonzales and two assistants arrived as scheduled at 6:30 on Monday, September 10th. All most professional. There was no time wasted. They worked the entire time with only a small lunch break completing the family room and kitchen. Back on Tuesday,September 11, at 6:30 and they finished the job ahead of schedule. Jesse and his crew worked very well together. It was business the entire time with no smoke or cell phone breaks and no time wasted. He is very professional and friendly. They cleaned up each day before leaving.

I called Jesse, the owner of the company, and he came out right away (the next day). He was very professional and personable. He gave us his recommendations and a quote the same day! His price was very reasonable (compared to quotes we received from three other companies) and we hired him right away. His crew came early the following day to begin prep, repair and sealing of our leaking roof. They had all of the roof work done in two days - just before the heavy rains came! Jesse's crew showed up at 6AM every morning during the painting process and worked with quiet efficiency throughout the day. They were very methodical in working through all areas of the house and walls, paying attention to detail during every step of the prep and painting process. They were careful to move all of our outdoor furniture away from the work areas and carefully moved all of our wall-clinging plants away from the walls to complete the painting without leaving unpainted areas behind the plants. Just when I thought they were finished with the exterior walls, they made another complete circuit to lay down another coat of paint on all of the painted surfaces. They did a great job, and the second coat of paint made a big difference. Jesse personally cleaned all of the exterior windows (and we have a lot of big windows!) to remove any paint spatter and residue from the power washing....our house just "sparkled" when the job was done. Jesse and his crew also did a fantastic job on the wood and glass exterior doors and the wood beams...they look like new! We are very satisfied with the work that JG Painting has done for us and plan to hire them again for some interior work.

we've been in this house for over 20 years and have never painted the exterior.i was very pleased with jesse and his crew. from start to finish he and his crew were punctual, professional and clean. they power washed all the old paint from under the eaves and the facia. it made quite a mess but they got pretty much all the paint chips cleaned up. they filled in holes and cracks and caulked where it was needed. jesse even put a basic frame around a window my husband had started but didn't finish. he also put some moulding on a corner of the house that desperately needed it. above and beyond what i would have expected. the second day they painted and cleaned up. the house looks sooooo much better. they did a great job. i will definitely use jesse again.

I didn't realize I called Jesse after business hours but he still answered my phone call. We made an appointment the following day for him to come out to make an estimate. Jesse came out and gave me an estimate for interior painting in the living room, dining room and entry way. Jesse was able to tell me how much paint I needed to buy for the job. I had a couple more companies come out to do an estimate; however, JG was the one I was most happy with even tho he wasn't the cheapest (approx $75 difference). I made an appointment for the earliest possible date, and he said they were able to come the next day at 7:00 am. Jesse sent Felipe and his crew and they arrived on time. They were very friendly and got right to work. I told Felipe I had three different paint colors and he had me point out where I wanted the colors. I wasn't happy with the area I picked out after Felipe put tape down and painted, but Felipe absolutely had no problem painting over the work he had just done (and he agreed it looked kind of odd). The crew was careful moving and covering my furniture. They took down my blinds to paint, and replaced them after the paint was dry. They worked quickly and quietly (didn't matter how loud they were, but I guess they realized there was a baby possibly still asleep). After the painting was finished, they swept and returned my furniture back to their places. After inspection, I noticed the painting was very professional and they even touched up the ceiling, baseboards, and doors (my husband had accidentally painted them when he attempted to do the job himself a few years ago) with matching white paint I did not have.

Bad experience with that contractor.

I read the reviews on your website and was very anxious about getting a good company because I just installed new laminate flooring and baseboards in the house. I relied upon the reviews. I called Jesse at Jg Painting. He called me back; he came as scheduled to give me a quote. I did not know what to expect price wise but it was about double my last painting (10+ years ago) so I figured it was not extreme. I liked Jesse and his professionalism so I did not pursue additional quotes. Jesse had planned to come to my home on Saturday, Feb 4, to get a deposit and set a time to arrive on Monday to begin work. However, another matter he was handling took less time than expected and he left a message for me on Thursday night to call him. He wanted to know if they could begin work on Friday, Feb 3. Since my house has much of the furniture still in storage after the floor installation, I was stressed but said we could begin Friday. He brought a crew of three at about 7:15 AM and though I left for work, I am sure they worked hard. They painted one closet, one bath, living, dining and kitchen that day. I was late coming home that evening and nervous about what I would find. I was really pleased with the color choices and the neatness of what I found. I believe it was a crew of two on Monday and Tuesday to paint the two bedrooms, one remaining bath and two closets. The people arrived around 7:15 to 7:30. They were very pleasant and professional. It was somewhat of a challenge to get the work done but that is to be expected. It went as swiftly and smoothly as possible and I am totally pleased with the results. I was thrilled to find good information on your site. I was so tired of asking people if they knew of a person to do this or that. I have other tasks to be done and will return to the site as I progress. Thanks so much.

They were efficient and very fast. It was $200 a room.
