Description of Work: Professional and upmost honesty is more to mention then most. I felt slightly embarrassed as a homeowner not knowing certain things had to be maintained yearly. Never once treated like an idiot. John explained everything and I'm loving my new Enviro! My showers are just at the right temperature after replacing my hot water heater. And Zack helping with my new AC and sealed all my ducts that's saved me a lot of $$. Just love how everything went so smooth.

Description of Work: The person at Intelligent Design scheduled my appointment within a few days and sent out John Mancini who had also drained my water heater. He was punctual, very pleasant and very professional in appearance and manner. He wore covers on his shoes as to not dirty the floors and carpets. The bathroom faucet was replaced and very neatly done. He was upfront about stating that the connections needed to be replaced and gave me the cost to do this. After that was completed he did a quick showerhead replacement and provided me with courtesy " plumbing 101" instruction and tips for some of my other questions. I know that visits such as this are not profitable for most companies and I will certainly continue to call ID for any future plumbing or heating issues.

Description of Work: It was on a weekend our air conditioner quit when the temperature was well over 100 degrees. My husband looked on Angie's List and chose Intelligent Design. The repairman came promptly and was very nice. He heard the problem immediately got the part from his truck and had it fixed within 5 mins. and charged us $273 for the part. My husband saw the part, a40-15 MFD Cap. When we questioned the price he said that's what it costs plus the $65 travel fee and $60 service cost. When he left my husband looked up the part on line and the most expensive price he could find was $40. Most places had it much cheaper. He called the service man back and asked him why the bill was so high and he said he would have the manager call. The manager called a little later and when my husband questioned him he said oh well we have a lot of overhead. We said we were the best not the cheapest. It was really a shock because this is just why we use Angie's list so this won't happen. I am very upset and urge all Angie's members to NEVER< NEVER use this provider unless you want to be grossly over charged.
