It went fine and I'm perfectly satisfied. They weren't any extra charges and they said that they were in good condition. They spent time looking at them. They checked all the wires and stuff. They didn't need freon or anything like that. They did bump our appoint, which was a little frustrating. They called and said they had other priority things to do, so we had to reschedule although once they actually got here it was okay.

From initial contact via the Tucson, AZ Christian Business Directory,,, through their 'look, see, advise'... and eventually - installation -- we appreciated Intelligent Design's friendly and cordial approach. We were pleasantly surprised when the owner himself (Andrew Dobbins) showed up at our house to perform the final inspection and orientation for us.

A/C went out. They responded immediately. Installed parts on hottest day of summer to that point.

Reported that things were fine with our unit, and we talked about setting up a regular schedule

Mike showed up right on time to do the initial inspection and found a couple of items that needed attention. The one part was needed to be ordered and I was told it would be available in a couple of days. When the part arrived, it was damaged and a new one had to be ordered that added another 4-5 days to the completion of the job. The price was more than reasonable and the work was excellent. It just took a little effort to finally get another tech out to the house to finally get the job done.

While there the Tech did not give me the price of additional work before he did it. The provider reviewed my complaint and we reached an agreeable price.

They worked thru the day from 9 AM to 9 PM . They did not want us to do with out cool air. They were very nice gentlemen did a great job to clean everything up and left me with not a thing to do. Also Lance came by a few days later to examine and check everything out. Everything is A-1+. They also applied for TEP rebates for us.

The install was completed on time as promised and everything was cleaned up and hauled away. The initial consultation with the owner of Intelligent Design was factual and accurate. Andrew knew what he was talking about as though he was an old pro at installing an air conditioning system

There were no problems found, but technician did a thorough check and cleaning of unit. He was on time, friendly and professional.

The service was fine. It went pretty well. They were on time and professional. They were easy to schedule with.

Service provider wanted to clean a filter in the AC unit at an additional cost of $175.00 which was supposedly a discount from a regular charge of $215.00. Servise was refused

Michael did an excellent job, I can tell he had lots of experience with ac systems, he is also very helpful in terms of explaining things in details, he doesn't mind that I follow him and ask questions. I would definitely call them again if I need anything for my ac.

Duct sealing service was completed in one day. Crew needed to take over that garage for all their equipment. Hole was made in air handler for connection and resealed. The air return was insulated. That crew did better cosmetics on the duct sealing previously done. Initial estimate was for a humidifier manufactured by Honeywell. Another provider provided estimate for humidifier manufactured by Aprilaire. After checking online reviews, I decided on the Aprilaire unit and Intelligent Design (Andrew) offered this unit to me, despite their never having installed one before. Because the installation was, in fact, easier than the Honeywell unit, Andrew has been offering Aprilaire to potential customers. I guided Andrew and his crew about controlling the humidifier from new thermostat, so they had to order such from Aprilaire. The installation instructions did not mention the newer thermostat. I was happy to be involved in this process. Crew (Manny) was most professional and enlightened me about the different colored wires that manage the AC/Furnace. It was a pleasure to work with him. I am pleased with the operation of this Aprilaire unit. Invoicing this job took too long. I had to call Andrew a few times to get the bill. When I received it, the address was wrong and the total price differed from that quoted. But the TEP rebates were applied off the top, so I did not need to file for them.

On or about May9, 2013 the work began. Both heaters removed and one of the coolers and existing ductwork was tied in together to make it one consistent piece of ductwork. Electrical was installed and new units were put in place. At this time the one existing cooler was removed. New AC vents were installed and the testing of the new units began. As of this date June 3, 2013 we are still having to tweak a few things to get the airflow correct and by Monday all will be done at 100%! Now let me tell you from the very beginning I have felt quite comfortable with Intelligent Design being the company that we chose. They have been professional from the explaination of how the process of how the installation would take place to the final inspection. I am not a person who is easily blown away by salesmen and their gift of gab, but Jason Watson, who was our first contact with Intelligent Design was so easy to talk to! He answered our questions in a way that we could understand and believe me we had tons! As the work began everyone that came to our home treated us with the utmost respect and workmanship. They always thought about our comfort as a matter of fact, they even brought us a portable AC unit while they removed the old equipment. I even had neighbors comment about how neat the installers were. When I would return home from work everything was in its place as if they were never here. Intelligent Design definitely puts the customer first in every aspect of this install. I feel very comfortable highly recommending Intelligent Design for any heating or cooling job! I would not say that I am a difficult customer buy I do want the job done right and for me Intelligent Design went beyond 110%! In closing I would like to thank Jason, John, Wes, Manny, Carlos & Rachel for making this such a wonderful experience! The cusomer service is by far the best I have seen in a company in a long time. Intelligent Design Air Conditioning And Heating is great. We were very pleased with them. They were on time and did a good job. We were very pleased with the results from their visit. I was very happy with the price. Their professionalism and punctuality was excellent. I would use Intelligent Design Air Conditioning And Heating in the future.

I obtained 3 quotes for replacing my heating and cooling system. The other quotes from RiteWay and B&J were varying in price. One was close and the other was significantly less but with much less offered in the scope of work and did not do the proper measurements for sizing. Intelligent Design offered much more in service and in product. The presentation was conducted in a very professional manner, especially in comparison to the other 2 companies. The Installation went very smoothly. The workers arrived right on time and were very courteous. They were excellent in accommodating our needs when we needed to leave and go somewhere and/or keeping their tools organized and out of the way. They were extremely thorough in cleaning up everything at the end of each day. The project took a full 3 days and was completed right on schedule with when they projected. We also contracted to have insulation blown into the attic. When the insulation estimator came out we had a small miscommunication that was immediately resolved by the owner of Intelligent Design. Now that the system has been installed it works as promised. We are fully enjoying a perfectly controlled climate. When we recently went on a 2 week vacation we turned the thermostat up to 85 degrees. A few hours before we returned home we used our new Lennox iPhone app to lower the temperature back to 77 degrees so that our home was perfect for us when we walked in the front door. We love our new Lennox system and the great benefits that it offers. It even will notify us if something is slightly off in the system via email so that issues can be fixed before any major issues occur. We are very happy with Intelligent Design and will refer them to our family and friends.

initial responsiveness was terrific, the design and custom work was top notch. the goal was to conceal everything and they went out of their way to ensure that finished product. Once it was up on the roof there were some finishing touches that needed to be completed by a different vendor that they were coordinating with, and that vendor fell through which caused some frustration. However they stepped up and responded in a very professional manner. Outside of the hiccup on the finishing touches I love my system and the craftsmanship the put into it. I actually show people the work that I wanted them to hide because they did it so well and I want to show it off. Overall was a very good experience, everyone was quite knowledgeable and had good follow through.

What an amazing company! We found Intelligent Design on Angie's list and went with them due to the reviews. Another reason we chose to have them do our work was that we went onto their website and realized they were a Christian owned company. Later we heard them on the radio and found that they sponsor the K-LOVE radio station. After we purchased they sent out an install manager to measure the walls, windows, doors and all the other things that would let them know the amount of heat that was coming into our home so they could properly size our new system. He also measured for all the metal connections and other things the installers would need so he could prepare everything ahead of time. When the install day came the first thing they did was a pressure test(blower door) of the home so we could see how much air was lost through leaks. When they were running the test they had me go around the house and feel where the leaks were. Once we found out that we were leaking a lot of air we bought some outlet/light switch gaskets so that we can put them in later. I was surprised at how much air was leaking from the ducts too. They also ran the test when they were all done and were able to reduce our duct leaks by over 200CFM which is like 1/2 ton of cooling. I was very impressed with the improvement. I am a very curious person and I wanted to watch the install. A lot of installers would not like that but these guys were OK with it and they answered questions and showed me things throughout the process. I really enjoyed that I was able to do that. The installers were so personable and professional. The install quality is pristine. They even sealed things around the unit so no pack rats or other animals could get in around the unit to under the home. I am telling everyone we can about how wonderful our experience has been. We have also realized in the weeks after the install that we don't have to dust as often. We used to dust every couple of days and now we can go at least a couple of weeks before having to dust. The only thing we can attribute this to is the new install and sealing of the ducts. I'd like to add they even included a maintenance agreement with my purchase so I don't have to worry about that for several years.

Excellent Experience! After being told by another company they are no longer taking new customers, we went to Angie's List and there we realized that we had met the owner of Intelligent Design at one of the home shows. We purchased the service coupon through Angie's List, called Intelligent Design and got scheduled for the next day. Chris arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and professional. On top of that, he's a Steeler's fan! Chris will be our 'go to' guy for all future service calls. Chris said that although our a/c until was old and not very efficient, it was working as well as it could. We have been researching a/c units for a few months, knowing that we would need to replace ours soon; however, we have guests arriving at the end of the month and we wanted to be sure there would be no issues during their stay. At our request, Chris scheduled an appointment for us to meet with Andrew Dobbins, the owner, to give us an estimate to replace our tired, old, inefficient unit. Stay tuned.....
