Two-parter here... Initial Danny and Travis came out today on a call I booked through Angie's List for a check-up and in the time I booked it to the actual appointment, my a/c stopped cooling. Danny discussed with me the maintenance plan options. I was apprehensive because even though my house was over 95 degrees, I also have American Home Shield. Danny took the time to take a look at my system and informed me of all the issues that would be considered preventative (that AHS's contractor isn't likely to look for) Danny and Travis were professional, kind and really helpful. I don't feel like they were trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge or situation. I was close to choosing the maintenance plan as it looks to be a great deal on an extremely important appliance. They hooked me up with refrigerant and knowledge, so if the AHS appointment doesn't yield a satisfactory outcome, I will go with Intelligent Design. *Update So let's talk about the refrigerant. I thought I was getting a great deal because honestly, what do I know? I know they were going to charge me $199 for the first pound and $99 for each pound after for R-22. (next time I call a company I will have to check the prices because this was three times as much as others were charging) The other services they recommended were considered unnecessary by a second opinion, things that Danny suggested needed work. I will concede that my house was over 95 degrees and they could have so me anything in my desparation. This irks me because Danny kept telling me he wanted a good review and he wasn't trying to scam me with a 10 year A/C maintenance plan or with all the services he was going to do (almost $800) I now think this trip was a total sales pitch and scare tactic. My house is cool now, and my brain less fried. I would be feeling immense regret had I gone with all of the work Intelligent Design wanted me to do because of this broken trust. I changed the overall rating to bad because there is no specific category for high-presasure sale overshadowing service.

Great - from start to finish.

He was okay. His camera was broken so he couldn’t look down into the hot water heater but it didn’t matter because the hot water heater was so old. We knew exactly what we’d see if we did it. He came out right away. The price I paid for him coming out was excellent. After he did his inspection and the inspection part, he quoted me a price for fixing everything that was so high. It was ridiculous. I went to someone else and got the job done. It was the exact job that he gave me in writing for 50% -- for half.

After our air conditioning unit stopped working in June, my husband found Intelligent Design on Google. Their website was very informative and the wonderful reviews regarding the company's knowledge, professionalism, integrity and excellent service made the decision to call them an easy one. We also appreciate and support Intelligent Design being a veteran owned business. The owner, Andrew, and Taylor spent time thoroughly going over the best system choices for our home's size. There was never any pressure to over buy a more expensive unit that would've been unnecessary. Within a few days, our new air conditioner and heat pump were installed! The installation team, Sammy, Jorge and Chris, were very knowledgeable in addition to being professional and took time to thoroughly explain the new Lennox system to me and set the new thermostat. The 24/7 repair commitment Intelligent Design includes is also a major advantage as I needed to call later that evening for an adjustment on the new unit and Paul was there within 15-20 minutes to take a look and make the adjustment. We highly recommend this company and will also call them when the needs arises for any plumbing repairs in the future!

He was very professional. Appointment setter did not ask me any questions about the service that needed to be performed and so he was a little in prepared for the various tasks. He was professional and the work was excellent. I had purchased an Angie's deal and I received more than my money's worth

First the plumber wanted me to pay for the faucet even though the faucet was included in the offer. After calling the office he agreed to provide the faucet w/o further charge.

Excellent site visit, and the work was completed exactly as the plumber, John, described. They arrived a bit early, and called to make sure we were available. We weren't available until the agreed upon time, but we got home a bit earlier and the work was underway on time. Our hose bib was leaking and so it was replaced. After that, John also checked on my water heater, and flushed it as an addition to the service, but free of charge. He advised on a free inspection for the A/C system offered to new customers by their company, and also talked with me about a water cleaning system for the whole house. Intelligent Design offers maintenance packages for plumbing and AC, and discounts on certain services or goods for those who carry the coverage. The work we hired ID for was completed on time and with excellence. We would hire them again, no hesitations. A++++

Our experience with Intelligent Design's maintenance, sales, installation and follow up is exceptional and very favorable. The maintenance troops are well-informed, open and trustworthy in our first year of service . The sales crew followed up, at our request with no pressure after major failure in our 13 year-old exchanger and loss of fluid. They each explained options and benefit for our family. They showed us merit in using the latest SEER value, and we believe the electric meter shows that value this summer! The installation crew performed the whole job as promised, with total independence for removal of old equipment, re-model of hook ups, installation of Lennox machine. The technician came over in the Sunday afternoon and replaced the bad capacitor. Everything was fine and the service is good. TH technician was very friendly.

Arrived shortly after calling to say he was on the way. Professional work done quickly with attention to keeping things clean. Provided advice on water heater and water treatment system that was quite useful. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We have had this company maintain our AC for about 2 years, and we recently purchased a new unit from them. Their prices and financing were very competitive, and their technicians were prompt, skilled, quiet, and efficient. They did a great job. A new AC was an intimidating purchase for us as first-time homeowners, but they made the whole process a breeze from start to finish. Their design specialist Joe explained everything we could expect, went over the various types of air conditioners, helped us compare brands, and let us know everything the installation crew would do before we made any decisions. The crew came on time, set everything up smoothly, and didn't leave any mess. I feel like we're in great hands with them maintaining the AC, and plan on staying with them for years to come.

They gave me a pretty good deal. Their technician Danny does the maintenance work, he is the best technician I have run into and he is incredibly meticulous about checking things out and he has taken me around and educated me about what he is doing. This guy is good, really good. He is the reason I spent $26000. The installers were super clean they cleaned up after themselves they did not leave any debris. They did an outstanding job of clean up.

I saw Intelligent Design at the home show in Tucson I set up an appointment as my a/c was over 16 years old. Everything went smoothly and they installed the new a/c in just a few days. All the installers were friendly and courteous and answered all my questions with much patience. I am also getting solar panels so my electric bill will be almost nothing. I have living in a really cool house and not a big hit on the budget. I would highly recommend this company. They are very efficient and they care about their customers.

They came out twice to make sure all our issues were addressed. Even sending the owner the second time to ensure we understood why the recommendations were what they were. They gave us the most cost effective ways to save the most on our energy costs.

Intelligent design does high quality work and have friendly service staff. Please give them a call you might pay a bit more for their service but it is money well spent.

The tech came did his diagnastic annalasis and replased aa part. He reccomended someother parts that would help the unit to run better.we plan to do that soon. Again we are very pleased with this service. And wouldZ$

The guy where I bought the air conditioner from went out of business and Intelligent Design bought all their customers. They have measured up pretty good. With this big guys, you never get the same guy more than twice because he moves or get rid of him and get somebody else. So when you get somebody who does a good job and you want him nest time to do the work but he’s gone. The last guy I had, he didn’t so all the things that was normally done in the past and he seems smart. There were things that he didn’t do.

The technician explained the problem with my old A/C unit and gave me the options on what I could do to fix it. He was knowledgeable and didnt try to just sell me a new A/C. In the end, the best option was a new A/C, but even then he suggested keeping all working parts. I felt like he was trying to save me money, and I appreciated that. The installers were nice, punctual, and easy to communicate with. I was please with the quality of the installation. The technician who replaced my anode rod was very helpful as well. I know how to replace it myself, but the price of the rod and installation was economical enough that it was worth having him do it for me. The last maintenance call was slightly less that 5 stars, but they are promtly sending out another technician to take another look at the A/C unit, so that makes up for maybe a 4 star visit. Overall I think this is a very professional company that cares about it's customers and it reputation. The quality of service is proof of this.
