We had to replace every portion of our HVAC system as part of a whole house remodel and addition. Our design plan put some significant restrictions on what Jason and the rest of the Intelligent Design team could do. The results were fantastic, the HVAC plan worked seamlessly into the overall design and the house stays warm/cool with a utility bill that is less than our previous, smaller house. Needless to say, work as extensive as what we did is not inexpensive, but they worked hard to get the price down and to ensure we could take advantage of every rebate that we could qualify for in the process. Intelligent Design was great to work with and has the design engineers and technicians to do a great job at any project.

.They arrived on time and quickly & accurately assessed the problem. There approach regarding materials & parts necessary to complete the repairs were on par with the better companies I interviewed. They were then about to charge me for a service call, when I had to remind them that I was told this would be "Free Estimate." A quick phone call thankfully resolved that issue. I decided not to use Intelligent Design since their estimate was so out of line with the others I had received.

Purchased special offer from Angie's List on a Thursday and was contacted by vender on Friday. An appointment was set up for the following Monday. The plumber showed up right on schedule did the service and cleaned up without a trace of them being here. A good professional job was done, very happy.

This was an Angie's List deal - 1 hour of plumbing service for $69. I bought the deal on Monday, Nov 15. They contacted me and I scheduled the visit via Angie's list. The appointment was originally set for Weds, Nov 18; they called me that morning and asked to re-schedule for Thu, Nov 19 due to no plumber available. They called early Nov 19 and an experienced plumber and an apprentice arrived on schedule. They were courteous and handled the two relatively small problems quickly. They also answered questions I had about the hot water heater -- they told me how old it was, that it was installed properly but probably contained a good amount of sediment. They also discussed (and left me a brochure) on the advantages of a whole house water filter system. I feel like I did OK for the $69 hour.

The Angie's List special sale allowed us to have a number of plumbing concerns we have had. The most notable was the frequent refilling of one of our toilets. The technician quickly identified the problem as the tank was slowly draining due to a dirty valve. We were not familiar with the dual flush mechanism. The technician showed us how to check the valve and remedy the problem. He then checked the other two toilets in the house. He also drained the water heater, finding that our water softener was doing an adequate job.

Danny was prompt and courteous and we are assured that our heating system is ready for the winter. Very happy with the service.

After calling the office, I received an appointment right away. The technician arrived on time and was polite and professional. The technician evaluated the system and diagnosed the problem quickly and provided me with the diagnosis as well as the cost to repair it. The technician then replaced the part and the air conditioning system was operational in no time.

We have been wanting to do the whole house repipe for quite some time, so it is a great relief to finally have that huge project done. It took a little longer than anticipated, but understandably because of all the elements involved. We are very happy with this service, everyone is very courteous and explained how things would go.

We basically knew what part needed to be replaced. The technician was able to come out right away. He found the problem (we didn't tell him what we thought it was, he told us, and it ended up being one in the same.) Work was done in a speedy, professional manner. I was most impressed that we were able to get someone out so quickly during the hottest time of the year. We heard of others having to wait days before they could get someone out for repairs. We did also purchase a scheduled service contract, for them to come out and do preventative maintenance. The tech said we would be getting a call from the office to schedule. To this date, we have not received a call. Hopefully soon.

The technician was professional and very willing to explain in detail the items we needed to monitor.

Experience was great! The serviceman called before arriving, arrived on time and performed the tune up as required. He was courteous and professional. I ended up signing a long term agreement with them and they have been great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone, including my friends and family.

It was great with the service person providing good counsel and advise

I bought a $99 big deal and it went fine. The coupon was for $200 worth of services for $100. The people they sent out only worked on one type of thing so even though I had two things I wanted them to do they only would do one of them. They said they were not the group that did the other kind and if I wanted to have the other kind of work done I would have to have a different service call and they would charge me more. They should specify that the things I am looking for and then send technicians that are appropriate for that.

I'm going to be brief. I would never use this company again.

John did a great job of showing me exactly what he was doing. He was very professional. He also recommended Enviro. Once he was finished we went to check the water pressure. Later that afternoon when I went to shower, I had no hot water and I think this was only because it needed more time to heat the tank being that we drained it all. Also, the kitchen sink had a very small stream of water. I notified ID of the issue and said that their plumber would be by later in the day. He was very professional and solved the issue. We found that the debris from the drain clogged the aerator completely. When I was trying to figure out what could have caused this...I read that before a water heater drain it's a good idea to take off the kitchen aerator and allow the pressure to run through the line. Overall, thank you ID for your service.

Researched hvac companies in Tucson through Angie's List and made appointments with several highly recommended by their ratings and reviews. Very impressed with Intelligent Design on their initial appointment and after talking with several others, chose to proceed with Intelligent Design. It was a very wise decision! The representatives and technicians were very knowledgeable, professional in appearance and conduct, and eager to provide any and all information we needed or requested. They walked my wife, Nancy, and I through the whole process from planning through installation. We were given all options and were not pressured to purchase anything we didn't feel was appropriate for us. The work was completed quickly and they followed up on numerous occasions to ensure everything was working to our satisfaction. For the past two years, support and service has been outstanding. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to ensure our system is working properly. I would highly recommend Intelligent Design to anyone!!!

My purchase through Angies List: $68 for Drain Cleaning and Whole Home Plumbing Inspection I called Intelligent Design Cooling Heating & Plumbing just prior to buying the certificate. Our kitchen sink was clogged and needed a plumber. I wanted to see if there was availability with them, as I wanted a quick repair naturally. The representative let me know there was. I informed him I was going to purchase the coupon from Angies List. He knew well the offer and encouraged me to do so. After the purchase, I made a second call to ask the representative if they needed me to print out the coupon to give to the service men and he stated that would not be necessary as they had it and it was already paid for. The plumber and his assistant quickly and professionally unclogged the sink. They were both very friendly and promptly arrived on schedule. However, they did not do the home inspection. Nor did they give me any kind of receipt when the job was done. Which I suppose was perhaps normal, as I had made the purchase on Angies List? When I asked the service men to check the plumbing in my shower they seemed harried and were hesitant about doing so. They took a few second glance at my shower, and suggested another service call to look at it. I was glad to have my sink up and running but wish they had done the whole home inspection, which was part of the purchase. This is the reason for the lower marks. The price was fair for the work done about what you would expect to pay for 20 min for a plumber to unclog your sink. After my above review I was quickly contacted by the owner Andrew who made immediate arrangements for the home inspection to be completed. Mario was sent out, he was extremely knowledgable, a man of integrity and very proficient with his job. He advised me of what my future to do list should be and how to prioritize them. Even letting me know that a few I should hold off on until we do our bathroom remodel. He thoroughly checked all our plumbing, the water heater, washer and our main water entrance port. Any drain that was slightly clogged he cleaned out. I rate him an A+?.Thank you Mario!

My husband and I really appreciated the wonderful combination of professionalism, friendliness and expertise this company offered. The serviceman was clean and dressed nicely in a uniform which spoke volumes to us. If a person takes time to be well-groomed, it most likely indicates that he will take time to provide good service with attention to detail. He quickly but thoroughly assessed the situation and then fixed the problem for us in the allotted time frame. We were very pleased with Intelligent Design in every way and would both recommend them to others and we would consider using them again ourselves.

I was originally charged twice for this service. Upon pointing this out I was contacted by the owner of Intelligent Design who promptly returned my overpayment and apologized for the mistake. Mistakes do happen. I am completely satisfied with how this was handled and would use this company again.

The technician called me in advance to tell me he would be here soon. He got right on the job and encountered some problem but contacted the office for a resolution and the completed job was fine.

I was out of town and the heating system when tested had a leak in the coil. I was trying to sell the house as I have already moved. I was upset at the cost of replacing the coil . I would have preferred having leak plugged. but Im not sure if that could have been done. anyway not being there and seeing first hand what the problem was left me skeptical. But the problem was solved.

The outside water faucet was quickly replaced. He also measured water pressure going into the house. It was at 110 psi. He advised that it should be no more than 60 psi and that our pressure regulator was not functioning properly. We had him replace the pressure regulator as well ($275).

My drains were backing up into the toilets and showers. I really needed someone quick to assess the issue and resolve it. Their response was quick, professional and intelligently dealt with. They found the drain pipe area and proceeded to remove roots and debris causing the clog. Three cheers for Intelligent Design Cooling, Heating, and Plumbing. I'd call them again anytime I need a plumber!
