They responded very quickly to my purchase and I scheduled a. Appointment with them. When they didn't show up on time I called them. They said their service guy had called me and was told to reschedule. I told them that I hadn't received any calls. We rescheduled and they showed up on time. They did a thorough job of checking out the furnace. They found no problems. They also showed me where the air filters on the ceiling were, but they missed locating one of them which I found after they left.

I left Scottsdale early to drive to Tucson to ensure I was there for the time window they gave me. After waiting past my time window and them not showing up I called. They said they were busy and running behind and wouldn't be able to make it for at least another 5 hours! I could not accommodate this new later time and wish they had called me when they knew they would be late. They promised me they would be there the next morning at a specific time "sharp." Again they were a no show, and I had to call them to realize this. The next day they did show and said have Angie's List refund you money. The job they did of "flushing out" the water heater was literally attaching a hose and draining it. Took less that 15 minutes . . . ridiculous. Then they came back and tried to sell me on $10,000 tank-less water heater and water softener!

This was a $69 big deal purchase. I got his advice, but I did not buy from him. He was good, but his prices were high. He had good quality. His responsiveness was good and he was punctual. I think he was professional.

Once again, I am grateful that the person who came out did not try to sell me anything. He thoroughly checked the unit and we discussed several features, but not once did he try to convince me that I needed something new or different; I truly appreciate this because the company from whom I bought my unit, which was quite expensive, immediately started trying to sell me something that would cost more thousands of dollars. I am a senior, and sadly, this happens a lot. That is when I switched to Intelligent Design for maintenance, and so far, they have been excellent.

They are surfing for new unit replacements. As soon as I told them it was 12 years old, I got the shuffle, because I told the I want interested in replacing, only repair. This is not the first time a contractor has tried to sell me replacement vs. repair. I will not be using Angie to select, or Intelligent Design to perform any HVAC work. This is my second attempt at using Angie for HVAC, with abysmal results.

This was a big deal purchase. It was the most awful experience I have ever had with a contractor. The guy did not want to evaluate the system. He wanted to just sell a whole new heating and cooling system. I am a real estate agent and it was a thing for a property and I was just trying to get it fixed so my buyer could buy the property. It was just terrible; it was awful. We had to have the owner send out the manager and it was just terrible. The owner eventually made everything right, but it was such an awful experience. It just was a miserable experience. It seemed like false advertising. I just wanted him to tell us what was wrong and give us a quote to fix it. He could not get that in his head. He wanted to sell us something and we did not want to buy a whole new system. We ended up spending, like, $775 to get repairs done. He came out to do the work about a week after I bought the deal. I give the overall company an F and would give the management a C overall because he is the one who is allowing this kind of bull to go on. I think the heating and cooling system is still working. They were responsive and came out quickly. I had to meet with them a couple of times. The first time they were punctual because they were trying to sell me something.

Their service was wonderful. They were very knowledgeable and courteous.

It was OK. He didn't flush it the way that other plumbers did. He said that it would cost about $1200 to replace. I said, I don't think so because, it's working just fine. The checking part of the plumbing, when he said $1200 to replace it I said, I'm done. I think he did whatever he was supposed to do, it was the basics. The price was fine. Maybe, my expectations were a little high for what the big deal was for. They came out on time, he ran around, and checked everything. They were responsive. I don't think I had to wait too long.

Everything is in fine working order. The process was completed over several days due to the sink having to be re-glued.

Very pleasant, easygoing experience. Very quickly accomplished. Would definitely use them again.

This was money very well spent! Mario called an hour before and said he was in the area and could he come now? I said sure! He spent a lot of time with me, explaining things, answering my questions, inspecting everything. I was thoroughly impressed and would definitely call them again for any plumbing needs. This was a great deal through Angie's List and I'm very happy!

Boy was I glad I saw this deal! Mario came out and took one look at the hose bib and said it was cracked. No wonder I kept seeing water dripping. He gave me a choice of which bib I wanted put on. I am thoroughly impressed with Intelligent Design and Mario. Great service, great price. Thanks!

Not good.... All I wanted was a quote to repair my unit. Needed a new Evaporator unit installed since the old one had a rust spot and leaked out all the Freon. Service man knew this, but left and sent over a salesman to sell me a new system (even though I told them I was only interested in repair.). The salesman still refused to quote the repair and insisted I needed to purchase an all new system for $9K (low end) to ($11K high end). I have a 5 ton unit. He acted surprised and I told him to leave. In the end I watched a few You-Tube videos, purchased a new Evap unit Online for $440. and did it myself. It took me about 10 hours but it is still working perfectly today (and I got the quality job I wanted). I did have to take the coils out of the case in order to get up in the attic (its crazy that placing these evaps in the attic is legal for a homebuilder to do) . Anyway, I did hire someone on an hourly rate to braze the copper tubing back together in the attic, empty and then vacuum test the system, and refill the Freon (which I also provided). I already had all the copper ready to go. This person did an amazing job and he only took 2.2 hours to do it. . $250. roughly. This was Picture Rocks heating and cooling (They were awesome, professional, and fast).

This company did a fantastic job. The job seemed more extensive then originally estimated and this company went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied.

We purchased a special through Angie's List to have our hot water heater flushed. Scheduling was easy and the office was very polite. The plumber from Intelligent Design was prompt and did a great job of emptying our hot water heater and providing information about its age and future need for replacement. The plumber also provided a lot of information about other plumbing services that he felt we could benefit from, including the cost to repipe our old house. Although that secondary estimate was quite high compared to subsequent bids, the services actually done at our home were well-done and stuck to the Angie's List deal. My only quibble is with the multiple follow-up calls asking for a positive write up on Angies List which I find a little unprofessional. Other than that, our flush went great.

They didn't start off on a good foot. This appointment was a third attempt at scheduling and actually having them show up. They explained what they were doing and what may/should be on the list of things I will need to fix in the future. They wound up replacing a part that I was not expecting which cost me a little more. There was confusion about how much they charged me. I have to say, I contacted the company right away and they got the issue resolved.

They inspected all the plumbing, which I knew had problems. We are seniors living on SS and were waiting on a charity service to repair some serious leaks. Everyone was on time and courteous. The serviceman took the furnace apart and cleaned out all the rust from a prior roof leak. He showed me the problems and the probable life of the furnace. I was able to buy an annual maintenance program. He explained that the cost of the plan was put toward the eventual replacement. He closed the damper and drained the water in the cooler. He checked the thermostat and gave us a co2 monitor that he had in his truck. A couple of days later, I got a call explaining that the supervisor was seriously concerned about the worst leaks in the bathrooms. The faucets were deteriorated badly and we had pans under the sinks to catch the dripping water. They put in new faucets and pipes for both bathrooms... at no charge! Every time we use the new faucets, we think of the wonderful gift they gave us. We have never had this level of service from any other service company! I thanked them profusely and told them they would be getting all of our business in the future.

I thought I knew what not to put down my garbage disposer and have never had a problem. Well, I did this time. I put some dead Spider Plant 'leaves' down the disposal...I did not really they fell into the 'woody' category, but they do. They totally clogged everything. I have forgotten the man's name who came out, but he did a great job and let me know everything he was doing and answered all my questions. I was very happy with the service.

They replaced my old garbage disposal for a new one I bought at Home Depot, but on advice from the guy at HD, I didn't buy the electrical cord since they are interchangeable. Little did I realize how difficult it would be to remove the old cord from the old disposal and then connect it to the new disposal. (Next time, buy the new electrical cord!) But they did a really good job in adapting the old cord to the new appliance after having to shave off some of the rubber plug. The plumber did an excellent job and was very funny and professional. Would absolutely use this business's service again.
