Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: 55 for central ac inspection, cleaning, tune up and up to 2 pounds of refrigerant They came out, did an HVAC inspection, cleaning and tune up, but they then mis-diagnosed some things. They also did not have the part to fix it. They did try to work with us on that though, but they did the work on something that didn’t need to be worked on. This was all done in about a day or two.

Description of Work: Had been contracted with another A/C company but was a little leary about them. I was shopping second opinions when I was contacted by Intelligent Design. They were the most thorough, professional, informative contractor I've ever dealt with. They repaired my air conditioner and left me with some great purchasing option should I decide to replace my existing system with a new/better one.

Description of Work: We went to angies list to help select a contractor for our ac project because we are new in the area and didn't know anyone. Installation included a top of the line gas split system, iphone controlled top of the line thermostat, duct seal, and air purification. We picked 4 top rated companies to give bids. Intelligent Design, B and J, Hamstra, and Trusted. One of the 4 we got rid of right away because they determined the size from the square footage which is recommended against. Intelligent Design was the most thorough and had the best price. Installation: Went smooth. The system was installed within one week of purchase and the installers all had 15+ years of experience. Everything went smooth, installers we're courteous, attention to detail for sealing the furnace room with silicone and mastic was impeccable. They laid down floor covers and cleaned perfectly when they were done. We highly recommend this company to all!!

Description of Work: We met Andrew at a local Home Show and were impressed with his approach to learning about a new home AC that is Solar Ready. We had 2 units that were about 13 years old and were noticing huge electric bills during the summer months. He first did a complimentary check on leakage in the house then helped us decide to go to solar ACs. We bought the 2 Lennox top of the line units and furnaces plus humidifiers and air purifiers after they sealed all the duct work in the home. It was a big job and the installers were extremely professional, they cleaned up everything when finished and hauled away the old equipment. We had our first electric bill cost go down by 150 dollars with only half the month with the new units and we expect to get our solar panels in a month or so. The units were costly upfront but with a solar credit of 30% of that cost in tax credits we felt this decision was definitely worth it! Also Lennox has a rebate of 2000.00 that we expect to receive in the near future! The total price after rebates and tax credits went down to 31,100. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for new AC/ Heating systems. Totally professional, knowledgeable and dependable!

Description of Work: Installation of humidifier with high definition, programable digital thermostat with exterior temperature sensor. I am a retired USAF officer employed as a civilian flier for the F-4. My wife works in an elementary school library.We met Andrew at the Sahba Home Show in Tucson recently and were interested in a home energy audit. This is a service his company provides and is certified for. Andrew is an intelligent, courteous business man who we found to be very knowledgable and enthusiastic about his company and products. After an informed presentation and discussion we purchased a humidifier and were eagerly awaiting the installation. The servicemen from Intelligent Design arrived promptly at the scheduled time on the agreed date and got right to work. They were polite, courteous and efficient in their work during the few hours they were here and cleaned up before leaving. The end result is great! The thermostat is so easy to program and make daily changes, if necessary. The air in the house is comfortable and we are so pleased we made this improvement in our home. We look forward to doing more business with Andrew again. If you are considering a new AC, humidifier, or adding any other air improvement to your home, we highly recommend Intelligent Design.

Description of Work: Andrew came out to give me an estimate on my HVAC system the morning after I called him. He did a thorough evaluation of my needs and recomended a Lennox product that would cool and heat my house better than other brands. The work began the next day and was completed on the second day so that we had a comfortable home by Friday evening. The workmanship was superb and all the old equpment was hauled away and the area was clean as before. Andrew came out on Saturday to do a walk through and answer any question I had. I would strongly recommend Intelligent Design to anyone looking for quality service at a good price.
