 + -1 moreJim is very communicative without being overly chatty. He's a good listener and he made sure we were both clear on what was to be done and what the desired outcomes should be. A few days prior to his coming over, I put together a detailed list if work to be done and emailed it to him. This worked to both our advantage as it allowed for advance clarification and also insured he came prepared with any supplies unique to the job. I really liked that he was open to this advance email communication. By the time he arrive I felt confident and at ease with his understanding of what needed done. I would have him over again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: This was the second time we had Jim out (we liked him so much we called upon him again). We had a list of items that needed addressed. They ranged from troubleshooting a poorly functioning landscape lighting circuit to minor plumbing fixes, and even cleaning out the lint buildup in the dryer vent duct. He completed all the tasks to my satisfaction. While working on the landscape lighting he told me about recent advances in LED light bulbs suited for my application which I researched and purchased at a later date. He fixed the issues I had that day and through the sharing of his knowledge, helped me save money with an additional fix I did myself.

 + -1 moreThe House Butler was prompt, reviewed what was on my list, looked at everything, gave me an estimate, fixed everything promptly. He was a pleasure to have around the house, professional and fixed everything on my list. He gave me great recommendations for other things that I needed to have done - I've used 2 of his recommended people since. I would call him again for any fixit issues.
Description of Work: A long list of fixit issues from 2 sticky doors, front door peephole install, uneven front gate, patched/painted a wall where there had been electrical repairs, cleaned the dryer vent, etc..
