Henderson Handyman Service

From the moment Shawn stepped into my home to begin work, I couldn't have been more pleased. He is the consummate professional, knows his way around just about everything as far as I could see, and he is a very hard-worker. I had no idea how amazing everything could look until I saw it completed and, even then, I was stunned at the beauty he wrought from what was there previously. He gutted my bathroom removing an old garden tub (useless item!) my old shower and all the cabinets, hardware, etc. He built me a gorgeous tiled shower and used the space where the old shower was to give me a linen closet to die for! The bedroom was fairly easy as I only needed new flooring, wall texture, and painting but he also enlarged my closet doorway to standard size. I've provided before/after pics of the bathroom for reference.

Shawn was very responsive and professional. He was especially good about handling some of the problems that arose.

Two men arrived on the date promised. Actually, they were able to work this job in earlier than they first estimated, and they called first to make sure this was convenient for me. They were professional, polite, and pleasant to deal with. They assessed the situation accurately. I had earlier sent them photographs by email of the work that needed to be done. They worked very efficiently, repairing and strengthening the gates, replacing nails that were pulling out with screws, and adjusted the hinges where the gates dragged. They arrived equipped with all the proper tools. They finished by sanding and re-staining the wooden gates. Thank you very much, Henderson Handyman Service. There were two people that came out to complete about two days on two separate occasions. what stood out about them was that they were nice and professional. i didn't dislike anything.

He came out the same day. I would rate him as an "A". He was very good on the price.

I've dealt with alot of handyman over the years. Not always the best work or professionalism until now. Shaun proved to be exceptional. I will only use Henderson Handyman in the future. I've already scheduled a flooring install. I know it will look great. The entire family was great to work with.

When I initially contacted Henderson Handyman Services, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had to leave a message and wasn't sure how long I'd have to wait for return call. Not only did Alison return my call the same day, she was extremely helpful and provided me a rough estimate on the phone. When Shawn arrived at my home to begin the work, I knew immediately that I had picked the right company. He and his co-worker (Shawn) were very professional, friendly, and efficient. They had my microwave installed in no time and even fixed my storm door on the way out! You're never sure what you're going to get when you contact a "Handyman Service", but if today's experience is any indication of the type of quality of service I can expect in the future, I'll be a happy repeat customer for years to come!

The purpose of the work was to relocate the master bedroom ceiling fan and to do some minor hallway ceiling repair. The work was expertly completed by Shawn x 2 (there were two Shawn?s). The ceiling fan was moved precisely where we asked and the old fan mounting location was professionally repaired. The hallway ceiling had some cracks that were caused by persistent house settling overtime. Again these cracks were removed and the areas completely repaired and readied for repainting. With Henderson Handyman, you definitely get friendly, enthusiastic, can-do service. They were at our door promptly on Monday morning, ready to complete the requested service. They are highly knowledgeable and perform a wide range of work. Also, they are eager to help you with whatever the task, apparently no job being too small. I highly recommend Henderson Handyman for any work around the home. We have definitely found our future handymen because we hit the jackpot with these folks.

3 day job and I am more than thrilled with the results-very thorough and very professional job-have been recommending Shawn to everyone I know.

They determined that my smoke detector was broken. They not only purchased a new one (I paid), but instead of using batteries like my old detector, they purchased one and connected it to the wiring in the house thus eliminating the future need for any batteries. The smoke detector was on a cathedral ceiling.

Punctual, professional, highly competent, pleasant , fast-working, knowledgeable, reasonably priced. What more could you want?

It went fine. Shawn worked quickly and efficiently. He's a bundle of energy. Henderson also gives a 10% discount to seniors which I am.

They have been very friendly and very helpful. They emailed me the estimate yesterday. They have been very responsive. We have been able to go back and forth to settle on the time for someone to come out and do the estimate. Overall it has been very good.

Shawn did a great job and was very personable. We are out of the way but he came to do the estimate nevertheless

I found him on Angie's List. He was the highest rated handyman in the Tucson area. They charged $69 per hour and were here longer than two hours but only charged me for two hours. He is very reasonable, fair and has a very good team that he works with. His wife takes care of the phone part of it and she was also very responsible and good about be getting back to me about our availability window and when he was going to be here. They also were on top of giving me another quote that I asked about. He has a pretty good little business and does about anything.

He was prompt. He worked skillfully and quickly. Did exactly what I needed. It was great!!!!

he looked at the overall job and went to work. when he was done he asked if i had anything else to do i did a sliding wood door to the wash area with a left over piece of wood he glued in and advised me to install the guide in the morning.

He did a good job. He took the extra time to do a really good job, and we are happy with him.

Outstanding. Opened up walls, cleaned out nest, and treated surfaces, and hung two ceiling fans on day 1. Let open walls dry out 2 days. Returned day 4, installed insulation, closed and textured walls. Hung third ceiling fan. Nest was gross. Shawn was great.

He charges $65 an hour. He was very professional about cleaning up after himself.

Will be going to be out of town shortly, so this was a rush and of significant concern. Henderson Handymen said they'd be able to show up around 1pm. Got a call at 9am stating they were in the area and could be at my house within 15 minutes if it worked for me. It did and Shawn and his assistant were friendly, courteous, and knocked the entire project out in just under an hour. Reset and reinforced the frame, made it look like new, replaced existing lock and deadbolt. Did an excellent job and gave me suggestions to help make sure the new lock and deadbolt operated more smoothly. Left his card so if there were any issues, the house sitter could call. I'm submitting this report two hours before they were supposed to be here, happy with the work done. Next time I need the help of a handyman, I will be giving them a call.

The work was professional and prompt. Shawn and his helper arrived when they said they would, were always polite and friendly, worked efficiently and left the site clean and tidy. Shawn was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, and could figure out how to make things work in an imperfect world. I'm very happy to have found Henderson Handyman and will use them again.
