To make a long story short, it took almost 3 years for them to install and complete a water feature that leaked and did not work. The workmanship was shabby and ugly and until the day that another contractor tore it down, it leaked and could not be used. I opened a case with the AZROC ( Arizona Registar of Contractors) since they were, at that time, licensed. They never responded and eventually the ROC repaid us part of our loss through their recovery fund and, apparently, took away their license for not responding or correcting the issue (a quick look on http://www.azroc.gov/ shows their license revoked as of 2009) Not at all professional or trustworthy, and the fact that the ROC pulled their license, proves that. I still see their trucks roaming around with the AZ ROC license number, but the AZROC website shows it as revoked. I recommend that you do business with a registered contractor; we would have been out the full cost had it not been for the ROC recovery fund program.

Overall, the two workers who came to our property regularly were good insofar as cleanup and irrigation monitoring. They were also willing to pot large plants on occasion, trim hedges to specification, etc. Communication with them (if we were here) was fine. They were very pleasant. Landscaping advice as far as possible improvements, what was going wrong with things that were already planted, etc. were up to the owner who we had to call for a separate visit . We seldom did this since we found him rude and condescending as well as disorganized. Problems started when we didn't have service on days we believed we were due. He explained that rather than every other week, he preferred to service in a way that might sometimes mean we would go 3 weeks without service because of the way the monthly calendar was set up. After much tediousness explaining to him we wanted service every other week, he agreed. Things went smoothly for awhile, so we contracted with him to have $1600 worth of bushes planted around our pool to replace frost damaged plants. He did, of course, provide advice and prices on these plants by email. Typical of him, no one told us what time of day the planting would occur (I had to call) and he was not only never onsite for the planting but never followed up to see how the plants were doing or whether we were pleased. We went with the flow until one regular service day when we had a list of "to do's" the crew did not show -- no phone call, just no show. When I emailed our displeasure, Mike condescendingly emailed that because there were a certain number of weeks in May and that the last couple of visits had been small as far as billing (he insists on billing hourly rather than a flat monthly fee) he had decided we didn't need service that week (without speaking with us about it of course.) That was it -- we had had too many encounters with this guy that were unpleasant and unsatisfactory to continue using Harmonious Ways.
Description of Work: My husband and I contracted with Harmonious Ways for biweekly maintenance, expecting periodic advice with plantings, landscaping, etc. from the owner whose expertise was highly recommended. Irrigation monitoring was also important to us.

They were nice people but they did not show up on time. They were not good with paperwork. They did excellent stuff but their management techniques were not good and so I don’t use them.
Description of Work: I used Harmonious Ways Landscape on 30th of March this year for some landscaping work.
