Hard Worx Concrete

The job was great, the guys worked hard, very nice. I work for home and never heard them working or even heard the cement truck. I appreciate that they were quiet. Thanks Roger and his crew.

Hard Worx concrete is a very professional, and knowledgeable company. Always friendly and kept me posted on what needed to be done and what was next. Left everything clean and neat, even better than when they came. Would definitely hire again!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Hard Worx Concrete. They installed an outdoor basketball court for us, and they did an absolutely beatiful job. Everyone who has seen it wants to put one up in their own yard now! What really stands out about Hard Worx is their experience and their willingness to go the extra mile. We needed metal work removed before we could install the court and they did that. We needed help installing the actual pole and hoop and they did that for us as well. Roger even identified a missing part right away and made an extra trip to install it after it arrived. The job was essentially done, but he went out of his way to make sure our court was fully functional. Roger was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the job. He made special bevel cuts to enhance our playing experience and gave us multiple options for pigment and hoop placement. Hard Worx Concrete are professional, kind, and experts in their field. We hope to use them again for future projects!

Please beware if you hire this company to do a job. First, his employees did a lot of damage around our house. They hit our stucco wall with a tractor. They drove over one of our barrel cactus and destroyed an Ocotillo. They hit a small tree next to our driveway and now it's leaning and the bark is gone on one side. They got a flat tire and drove on our new asphalt driveway. The rim left 2 DEEP grooves in our driveway and all the way out of our community. When they were removing our old concrete, the tractor and/or concrete left DEEP grooves in our concrete driveway in front of the garage door. They couldn't get the forms right even after we spray painted the ground. We ended up moving the forms where we wanted before the concrete was poured. We told Roger what we did and he said "they put them where you spray painted". They did NOT. He never came to check. There is still concrete splatter on the side of the house. We had left over stucco for our wall and they used their fingers to spread the stucco over the spots of splatter. The firepit came out okay but the cap is TERRIBLE! He used a cap from Home Depot. It's a basic gray concrete cap and it doesn't fit or look at all like the pictures we emailed him. They also sprayed a white liquid on the concrete and now you can't see the "Spanish Gold" color that we added to the concrete. It's now white. We are so disappointed! We are now looking at options to fix the concrete and cap on the firepit. Every time we brought these issues to Roger's attention, he told us he would fix it. He never did. I regret making that final payment.

The quality of work/concrete, at least to a layman like me, looks to be poor. One of the slabs shows significant pitting. I brought it to the attention of the owner, and he promised to fix it, but never did. I had to follow-up with them repeatedly before he finally gave me an excuse that he had lost his crew and so he would provide me with a partial refund. Once again, he did not fulfill his promise. A few months ago I came back to Angi to search for new contractors, and there I see Hard Worx with a 5 star rating, so it is not as though he is out of business or something. So, I tried to give him another opportunity to fix things, we agreed on a date for him to return, but once again he was a no-show. I am hoping that this review will prompt him to fulfill either of his promises; suitable fixes or a partial refund. As it stands, I cannot recommend them and have had an abysmal experience with their company.

Excellent; beautiful results

They are wonderful ,they remove sand stone and re-build it. They made a side walk and polish it. They are very contenciasious. They were on time and did the job on timely manner. They did not ask for money before doing the project. 5s Yes

Hard Worx Concrete did a great job pouring a slab in my backyard. The owner, Roger and his team were very friendly and professional.

Love the work Roger did!! He is an amazing person to talk and easy to share what I wanted to do. He is very creative and professional about everything; makes any changes seem easy to do. I wouldn't have any other person or company design or do what he did in my yard. My backyard looks phenomenal and inviting to hangout in now. Thank you Roger! Love it!

Was able to work with our budget turned out dirt yard into a backyard paradise thank you so much for everything.
