Nothing to tell. The workman's response was totally unsatisfactory. Case closed.

The pipes under kitchen sink were dripping badly. This was something that had built up over time, and not something my husband and I could fix on our own. We went to Lowe's and bought a replacement faucet. Since we were going to have to have a plumber fix the leaking pipes, we thought we may as well get the old kitchen faucet replaced at the same time. Bought faucets for the two bathroom sinks as well. Called Handyman Connection because one of their servicemen had replaced a ceiling fan for us at another time and we had been happy with the job. Based on that experience, I did not contact other plumbers.Their plumber arrived in a timely fashion and was a nice guy. He quoted me the $375 labor cost for fixing the leaking kitchen plumbing and replacing all three faucets. I really can't comment on the fairness of that quote, since I hadn't gotten a quote from another company. I can say that the quote seemed okay, based on small plumbing jobs I had had done previously. While doing the job, the Handyman service guy discovered that the downstairs bathroom sink pipe was about to give out. I believe this was true--the pipes were very old. The serviceman did not charge more $ to do that, other than parts cost. Pulling out the old pipe needed to be done anyway as part of replacing the faucet. But I'm very grateful he let us know about the situation. Overall, my husband and I were very pleased with the quality of the work. However, what we were definitely not pleased with was the fact that the serviceman had a bumper sticker that said, "f...k (a particular politician). To have a bumper sticker with wording like that on a serviceman's truck was incredibly unprofessional. In addition to being offensive to us, we were embarrassed to have the truck outside our house with such a crude bumper sticker. Additionally, the serviceman had his radio on while doing the plumbing job. The radio volume was loud, and the serviceman was making loud and angry political comments throughout his time at our house. My husband and I were very unhappy and disturbed by that behavior. In our opinion, behavior like that has no place in a service person's role--regardless of their political views. Honestly, my husband and I will probably not call on Handyman Connection again, regardless of the quality of their work. This is too bad, since my husband and I were both happy with the work itself. I hope the folks at Handyman Connection see this comment.

They were very prompt when I called. They were here the next day and were here for a day and a half. They were very nice and worked steady. Just about everything that had water in this house leaked inside and out. They repaired 5 outside fossettes, 3 inside sinks, a bath and 2 toilets. It is a very old house and that is always a problem because things don't always fit. They worked straight through and got everything done. I was very pleased. I thought with the time they spent on everything that the rate was very reasonable.

They are very nice. The price is competitive and I am happy with my experience.

They never showed, they never called, and they never came for our appointment. In fact, we ran into their booth at the home show. They wanted to talk to me and I told them I would never use you people. I wouldn't recommend them either. If they were the only re-modelers in Tucson, I would call somewhere else. They are not worthy of getting the business.

I called Handyman Connection around 10 am, and I was able to schedule a plumber for the same day, actually within 4 hours, so I was very happy. The lady I spoke to was very helpful. Jorge called about 45 minutes before my scheduled time and told me he was in the area already and asked if it was alright to arrive early, which it was. He arrived and got right to work. I have no complaints; he did the work I needed, it was done well, and in a timely manner; he even accepted a coupon I had on my fridge for nearly a year (no expiration date). He explained everything and was very patient with my occasionally goofy questions. I have used their services in the past (plumbers and other handymen) and will continue to do so. I'm very happy with the results.

He did an excellent job! The price wasn't bad and he was a really nice guy! He did a nice job, as well! He took out the old recessed lighting, put in drywall, and put in new lighting.

Basically my patio glass sliding door needed new rollers cause it was hard to open. I called Handyman connection from Angie's list. a man came out On Saturday he couldn't get the door of the track said he would return on Monday... He messed with the door for a while. no one was sitting there watching him. He went and bought a handle and silicone spray...Sprayed the track so it opened better told daughter it was $190.65 .. my daughter thought he fixed it. on the bill it stated he REPLACED THE ROLLERS... I checked the door when I got home and it was hard to open... I called the man who came out and told him the door was hard to open and i asked him about changing the rollers and said he DID NOT REPLACE THE ROLLERS he couldn't get the door off the track... I was mad and called Rob at Handyman connection and he acted like it was my fault the door didn't get fixed... He told me i could have $75.00 back and he would send another man out to look at it ... need less to go on I got ripped off !!!! my door is still broke and I will l never use this company again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my $75.00 back but that took two weeks and 10 phone calls... So I lost $115.00

They did a very professional job. They did everything right. They checked it all out which was great. They are very professional and I can trust them.

Sadly, it did not go. I received a call the day before the estimate stating that they "double booked" the time and would have to reschedule. I left 2 messages on thier voicemail after that attempting to reschedule and never got a call back. Ended up going with another Angie's list plumber.

My original appointment to get and estimate for the work I needed done was at 9:00 am today. I received a call from a representative at Handyman Connection yesterday asking if I would be flexible to move my appointment to 12:00 pm. I agreed and adjusted my busy schedule. At 12:30 pm, I placed a call to Handyman Connection and left them a voicemail about their technician not showing as of yet. I continued to wait and I place another call to Handyman Connection around 1:00 pm. At 1:15 p.m., I finally received a call from the technician stating he had just finished up his job and was wanting to head my way. I asked him if he knew my appointment was for 12:00 pm and he said "yes but that he was up on a roof and just now finished." I understood, but a courtesy call to let me know you were still coming would have been appropriate. He then stated "Well, Cox service gives you a 3 hour window" and I stated, true, but you are not Cox and never was I told you needed a three hour window to show. Unfortunately, by this time, I am running late for my next appointment. If the policy of this company is to have you wait around for 3 hours until the technician shows then make that known up front. Otherwise, the customer's expectation is for the service provider to show at the agreed upon time. Because of this experience, I will be looking elsewhere to do the work I need. We are all busy and time management needs to be a priority of this company otherwise, they stand to lose business.

The price was cheaper than expected. They show up on time. They're respectful of and my home. I have no complaints!

They did an incredible job. My overall experience was outstanding with them. I would use them again in the future.

Went very well. Dave is easy to work with. Very helpful. They worked hard to get new countertops on old wood cabinets. They always clean up afterwards.

The job went pretty well. It got dark and he couldn't see in the hallway. When he tried to match my texture he didn't and so I had to redo it once you could see it in the day light. He flattened it almost completely instead of the knock down texture. Other than that he did a great job patching the hole. He came out pretty quick.

During that crazy rainstorm, we lost power to half the house. I do most of the work around the house, with the exception of plumbing and electrical, as these can be tricky diagnostic problems. We checked reviews, called Handyman Connection and Dave was sent out. Dave was very polite and knew exactly what he was doing. The following services were performed: - Diagnosed main panel - outside in the rain! - Determined which fuses needed replacing. - Did a pre-replacement walkthrough in the house. We have GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlets throughout the house, and one of the circuits in the house was not working. - Replaced fuses. - Dave did a post-replacement walkthrough on the house, determined that the circuit was still a problem. It turned out that the dryer was shorting out the circuit. Everything's been fine ever since. We were so impressed with Dave's professionalism and the level of service we received that we plan on using Handyman Connection for a number of other small improvement projects. Thanks Dave! (NOTE: This is also our first time using Angie's List, and we're impressed!)

I started the project and quickly found out that I needed help! Handyman came out within a day of my call, gave me an estimate, and let me know how long it might take. Because he had to order a specific type of replacement track kit, it was going to take longer than I would have liked. But, this was not their fault, as I wanted that kind of track. I appreciated the fact that he was realistic about how long it would take. As it turned out, it came in a little sooner than expected, and he came out and completed the job quickly. Nice job, took as long as he estimated, and final price was slightly below what I expected. Also, he was frank about the cost of completing a part of the project (replacing a dry wall cutout). Instead of trying to "sell" me on doing it, he advised me as to how I could complete it myself.

Extremely satisfied. I had some issues with the pool light/GFI that took longer than originally estimated due to the poor original builder's work, but they kept at it till it got solved. Turned out the original wiring had bypassed the GFI so it was extremely unsafe but now is up to code. Also had some existing plugs that needed rewiring, they took care of that as estimated. Definitely will use them again.

Received estimate on fixing botched tile job in master bathroom shower. He suggested that we use an acrylic-looking product distributed by Robison Marble Co. The price was higher than using tile and the product samples appeared to me to easily scratch. We decided to hire Jason Sanchez with Desert Iguana Tile, and we sure are glad we did. See my review and pictures. We also had Olanders install the glass, and we are very happy with how everything turned out. While he was here, I also had him take a look at a window that was leaking (monsoon season had just hit). If my memory serves me correctly, of the three gentlemen we had look at that window, he was the least helpful. Arthur with Olanders was the most helpful, showing me how to remove the slider so that I could check the weepholes, and pointing out to me that one of the weepholes had been covered over with stucco. With his help, I was able to fix the problem myself without needlessly resorting to replacing the window.

He came to the house. Looked at the problem. Had part in his truck. Turned off water, replaced part. Fixed!

Shawn Mosley was outstanding. Prompt and professional with a great attitude and excellent craftsman skills/experience. There was a long delay between the estimate (4-20-2011) and the service (8-15/16-2011) due to illness and surgery but Handyman Connection had no problem and was very accommodating and flexible. Shawn went above and beyond in his tasks. He did not cut corners and took the time that was needed to do the job correctly the first time. He required no supervision and did not make us uncomfortable in any way. He also did not mind showing me what he was doing as the job went along and provided tips on how to do it myself. I will use Handyman Connection in the future and ask for Shawn.

Price was too high but we needed it done quickly. Workmanship okay, outlet is actually a little crooked.

I called them and they sent someone out and it was good. They did a wonderful job. It cost me about $300 to put in the recess light over the kitchen sink and put in a demo switch. The plaster work and fixture work that went with that cost about $150. I would like it if they kept a list of who came to your house the first time. I got so many things that I have to keep an eye on and I keep misplacing receipts. If the handyman connection would keep a record of who they sent where, it would be very useful. I got what I paid for and their quality was super.

I love them! I have been using them for a long time and I think they are great. I call them for almost everything because I learned that it is worth paying a little extra for quality work. He did an excellent job, it didn’t take him long, and my bedroom looks gorgeous now. Everything they do is great.

See above. I will add that they have been out to the house 3 times already. And overall, things are worse than when they started. At least, the faucets, when turned on, did not flood the downstairs before they came to my house.
