They were very prompt and gave a careful estimate and came out twice to make sure that they could install it they way they anticipated. They explained what they were going to do and they were on time and did very food work. The humidifier was making the system go on too often and they replaced that for no charge. They are a high quality operation.

They were fairly responsive. The estimate was done over email and telephone. They were expensive.

There was no difficulty in having a schedule with them. They came out when they said they were going to be there and seemed to do a fairly thorough job. I watched the technician while he was working and he was very thorough. He answered any questions I asked and I was pleased with it.

They were wonderful. They did all the work in one day. An engineer did all the planning in advance. The installation went perfect and they were true to their word on the price. We got a high effeciency air conditioning unit. I would recommend them without any reservations.

Mark came and talked to us before they submitted an estimate. Wonderful person to work with - he asked what we wanted - what our expectations were, and made some very useful suggestions. He measured the house, looked at what kind of windows that were installed, and took into consideration the high ceilings in some rooms before submitting an estimate. The estimate came in a bit higher than the other estimates, but we were very impressed with Mark and his professionalism. We accepted their estimate and set a date. They arrived on time - it took a day longer than estimated, but that was because of the large hole that was found in the ductwork. The installers were professional and very friendly. After the original install - we decided to re-route some ductwork through a different damper. That work was also done on time and again very professional. Mark made a final walk through to make sure the system was working as intended and to make sure we were happy with the new install. We would hire this company again -- in a split second. They are probably the best contractor we have every worked with.

They are professional, responsive and punctual. Their pricing is reasonable and the quality of their work is good.

I woke up to a screeching noise coming from the fan on the furnace. This went on all night every time the heat kicked on. It's January in Tucson so it was warm during the day and I didn't notice that the screeching had led to a non-functioning furnace until the next night when it got COLD!. I called Hamstra about 7:30 in the morning, Jason took my call and sent Mike out within 30 minutes, and the probelm was diagnosed and fixed within an hour. The service I received was professional and friendly, couldn't ask for better.

I called Hamstra to schedule a service call and told them our heater was blowing cold air. They happened to have a man available in our neighborhood so he arrived within 15 minutes. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a dirty flame sensor. It took about 15 minutes to repair. THe only charge was the service call fee of $100. This was about the best experience you can have with a home repair call!

Their prices were reasonable. The service was good. All of their evaluations were accurate.

There was no project as Hamstra failed to followup on providing an estimate for the proposed work.

Jeff Hamstra came out to give us the estimate. He was the only vendor to actual do the calculations to determine the accurate size of the unit needed (and he was right on -- the unit was smaller than what we previously had, but it works much better to cool the large space). He was prompt, polite, and efficient. His service guys did a good job. Unfortunately, when I got home after the work was completed, the unit wasn't working properly. I was also unhappy about a minor detail that I did not understand. Jeff and his crew were out first thing in the morning to make it right. They replaced a faulty switch and the unit has worked perfectly every since (I am writing this a few months later after a long hot summer). Jeff worked with me to make sure that I was completely satisfied. I was not the easiest customer to work with (in fact, I was really difficult and unhappy when the unit didn't initially work properly), but Jeff was the consumate professional and worked hard to make things right. He won my trust, respect and admiration.

Excellent! I received bids from 7 companies to replace my ac and heater. Hamstra Heating and Cooling was the most thorough company. Jeff Hamstra, the owner, measured my house. He made an appointmen for 2 days later and personally sat down with me and discussed, based on the manual J load calculations, which air condtioner would be right for my house. NONE of the other 6 companies did this. The technicians that came out were very professional. I have alot of animals and they made sure none got out of the house and always knocked when they needed to come inside. They were on time and cleaned up afterword. This company was outstanding, and would definately recommend them!!

The technician investigated and found that the installer had not capped off three drainage outlets that were supposed to be capped off (and moreover the one drainage outlet connected to the primary drainage was poorly installed). He installed the three caps and improved the poor connection at no extra charge.

It went perfectly. The technician, Rick, responded only a couple of hours after my phone call, quickly located the problem, and put in an order for a replacement. Rick was professional and competent. He has excellent customer demeanor, as does his boss Hal. The replacement was under warranty, so there was no charge for the part. When it arrived, it was promptly installed, and my furnace was back in operation.

The job only took one hour and went without a hitch. Everything works fine now. The technician was professional and courteous.

My furnace unit started vibrating and making a lot of noise. I called Hamstra and they had someone here at 7am the next day, which was exactly when I needed the service call to be. Some debris had gotten into the system, and the fairly new filter had become so dirty that air couldn't pass very well. Mike cleaned everything and answered all my questions. He also added coolant to the air conditioning unit. I brought up the issue of the equipment already being 14 years old. Mike answered all my questions about how long I could expect my unit to function and about the energy efficiency of new units. This company's web site is awesome. I have learned a lot from looking at some educational parts.

They charged up the A/C, and we were cooling again by 8:30am. Very professional service. Due to the age of the system, we had Hamstra give us a proposal on a new more efficient AC/Heating system. We decided to have them install a system with all the bells and whistles and it will be installed next week.

They are perfect. They are responsive. They are clean. They are dependable. Their stuff works. They are extremely talented at what they do. I would recommend them and use them again.

They were professional and prompt. In fact, they were about two hours earlier, than originally scheduled. Project took about twenty minutes and a/c is working fine. The service/labor charge was $125 for about 20 minutes of work, which seemed a little high, but we really don't know what companies are charging as minimums, so perhaps not. Only someone shopping for service would know this.

The technician arrived when promised, and was very courteous.

THEY DID GREAT WORK, THEY WERE HERE ON THE DAY AND AT THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED THEY REMOVED THE OLD UNIT AND WILL TRY TO REPAIR IT SO SOMEONE LESS FORTUNATE CAN HAVE IT.

THIS COMPANY MADE US BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WAS NOT TO HAPPY WITH THE PRICE THAT I GOT CHARGED. YES, THEY DID A LOT OF WORK, BUT I DO NOT THINK IT SHOULD OF COST THAT MUCH.
