Fantastic. From beginning to end. Everyone was very prompt. John was extremely knowledgeable about determining our needs and answering questions. We liked that John came back two weeks after the install to make sure we understood everything and that we were pleased with the functioning of the unit. Robert took measurements and assessed things like whether a crane would be needed, and Robert, Dan, and Travis (I believe) were here to do the installation. Every single person was polite/pleasant, professional in appearance and demeanor, and knowledgeable. A crane was used in a very tight area filled with several kinds of trees and the roof - I don't think we lost a twig the crane operator was so talented. Hamstra seems to use the best people, including their technicians, who are also N.A.T.E. certified. The owner, Jeff Hamstra, also contacted me to answer all my questions about the warranty. We were referred to Hamstra by a general contractor we trust, and it was a good recommendation. I would say Hamstra is thorough, honest, professional, and skilled. They were slightly higher in their estimate, but we feel that we got a good value for our money.

They were the ones that actually put in my heating and air in 2008. They call me to tell me when they are going to be here to the service checks on it. When I've had a problem they have been out here half hour before the time that they tell me that they are going to be here. If they tell me they are going to be here between nine and eleven they are here at nine thirty and I've never had to wait more than half hour if they gave me a time period. All of the people that I've dealt with have been very good. They also made a special trip out here bringing me filters and they don't charge me for coming out here.

An estimator came out prior to starting the work and gave us an estimate that was correct to the dollar. The price was rather high, but we thought it was worth it to get the job done right. The work took two days with the first day inside and the second day outside. The installers arrived on time both days and were always polite, even wearing plastic "booties" when working inside. They kept us informed about their progress which involved crawling around a hot, cramped attic full of loose fiberglass insulation. We are very satisfied and immediately noticed an increase in air flow inside the house.

The salesman, Wes Adams, was one of four companies we talked to about replacing our 16 year old system and removing our old master cool evaporative cooler on the roof. We were interested in the Lennox system and decided to go with the 21 seer a/c unit. After cleaning our ductwork with a different company we did the aero seal to reduce leaks in our duct work and obtain the TEP rebate. Wes said they would take care of all of the paperwork for the TEP and Lennox rebates and they did. Everything that Wes told us about his company, Lennox and the installation was accurate. The installation team did a great job and I felt very comfortable having them in our home for the two day job. Wes was honest, professional and a pleasure to work with for the entire process. I cannot say enough about the quality and service of this company and their staff. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

We were very happy with Hamstra heating & cooling. I had seen their ads on a bus around town...and we needed someone to come check out our old AC unit and make sure it was good for the upcoming summer. The guy from Hamstra was very nice, showed up on time, and explained everything he was doing. We bought a service contract from them to have them come out every year!

They came at 7:00 with 3 PROFESSIONAL installers assessed the project & immediately started with precision (it's been a long time since I have seen such a coordinated effort, with such positive results) they removed the old unit and installed the new unit by noon, I was amazed. They had removed the duct work in order to work in the small area, after the unit was installed they replaced the duct
work, and upgraded the connection to the blower which made it more effective. While 2 men were working on the heating unit the 3
man was outside installing the air conditioning unit. By the end of the 2nd day both units were successfully installed, tested for any problems and did not leave until they were completely satisfied. I can only say (if this had to be done, and it did) it was certainly a pleasure to have them in my home. Ron was very thourough in testing the air conditioner on the house we purchased in November 2013. He explained what his testing found- that the unit appeared to have been maintained well by prior owner and that all was working well. He answered all of our questions. He told us about the future service plans Hamstra offerrs, so we asked him to have the office call us in October to set us up for on-going service. We were very pleased with him.

Expensive, yes but they are the best in Tucson and they have taken care of us for years. They also installed all of our equipment when we built this house 17 years ago.

From first contact to completion, this was an excellent experience. John Roelle, Hamstra's rep, was professional, informative, and most helpful in the planning stage and again in his follow-up one week later. Robert, who ran the tests and measurements to make sure we were getting the right equipment for our needs was efficient and thorough in his recommendations. The installation team of Dan, Sam, Ray, and Colton were on time both days, attentive to our needs, professional, friendly, and willing to do the "extra" to give us the best service and product. Each day their clean-up was well done.
Because of the time of year for this project, we were eligible for some incentives. Also, because of the quality of improvements on our home's energy efficiency performed by Hamstra, we received $650 in rebates from TEP. Hamstra also offers a 5% discount for cash. We saved a fair amount of money AND received excellent service.
