We requested quotes from 3 different providers on Angie's List. Kim from the Grout Connection was the only provider who worked around her busy schedule and made arrangements to meet us in person. The other 2 providers asked us what the square footage of our tile floors were and that they would quote us over the phone; very unprofessional. Kim offered expert advice and recommendations, so that my wife and I could make an informed decision that best fit our needs. When we told her that we needed the work done on a certain day, because we had tenants that needed to move in right away, Kim once again reshuffled her schedule to make it happen. The day the work was to be accomplished, Kim called us to let us know that she was on her way. She arrived as scheduled, finished the work in a neat and timely manner, and the results of her work were nothing less than OUTSTANDING! The grout looked brand new in our 7 year old rental. We were so impressed with her work, that we have hired her to do the grout at our primary residence. For price, quality, and service the Grout Connection should be your first stop for all your grout needs!!!

To begin, timeliness and attkitude were problems every visit, from the estimate on. The job itself was a 2-day process. However, the price was less than a competitor and we had one personal recommendation from someone who had hired Grout Connection. They had done a small job (About $300) for us previously and it was ok. The main problem was many, many hairs (several workers worked on the floors with nothing covering their long hair) embedded all over the house in the coating. The hairs were absolutely NOT there before this job was done and were extremely obvious at first glance. Also, after the first day on the job the workers left before we returned home and no note was left on the door warning us the floor was wet or telling us what time they had left. (We had been told we could walk on it with socks shortly after it dried.) Since we had no idea when the workers had left, we took off our shoes and entered, only to find the floor was quite wet. We immediately went outside and waiting awhile until it was drier, but better communication would have been welcome. After the job was completed the second day, when I called Kim to tell her about all the hairs, instead of apologizing and offering to come back and see what could be done, her attitude was outrageous. She was incredulous and first said it was something that would go away in time. (It's a year later and the hairs are still there.) She then returned about a week and a half later and did a very messy job on the powder room floor removing the hairs there. She was resentful about the complaint, although she clearly admitted many hairs were embedded around the house. She actually suggested they "might have been" there before the job was done. (Forgetting, I suppose, that the job including cleaning as well as sealing the floors.) After listening politely throughout the time she was in our home to many of Kim's excuses why she was late (dropped her cell phone in the water when boating, etc.) and hearing her disparage and gossip about other customers, I was told in the end that I had been rude to her! My husband and I could not believe her lack of professionalism. We would recommend not using this company unless you believe the customer is always wrong!

My twelve year old tiles and grout were looking tired. I contacted Kim at the recommendation Chris Golden of Complete Flooring. Kim came to the house and explained what she would be able to do to give us a new looking floor. We picked a new grout color and Kim very graciously re-arranged her schedule to accommodate the work before we have out of town guests. The work took about 6 hours to complete and we couldn't be happier. The floors look brand new. The grout looks perfect. I highly recommend Kim and the Grout Connection.

Home is 14yrs olld and about 3400sf with mostly travertine tile on both floors and bath walls. Grout Connection cleaned and sealed all of the tile and grout, much of it by hand.. It took 3days It looks great -well worth the price.

met with Kim for an estimate. very reasonable in comparison to other quotes. She was very informative on what to expect and time to complete the job. we set a date and her team showed on time and finished as proposed.

Very well. From the first contact until the finish all was done as promised. Kim was thorough in analyzing what had been on the floor and was concerned that the outcome met my expectations. All appointments were kept punctually.

This was the best sealing job I have ever had. Kim was meticulous in her work. She repaired tiny cracks in the grout and put on several layers of sealer. I would use this company again. The price was less than the other quote I received, too.
