Description of Work: Repair and repainted a large house and surrounding block walls, as well as a wrought iron safety fence. Repairs included stucco, roof support posts/poles, trim, and wood beams.

Description of Work: Numerous improvements to a Sam Hughes home, including significant exterior masonry work, trim work, interior and exterior painting, arranging for roof improvements, installation of new doors and hardware throughout the interior of the home, installation of replacement railings and bead board ceiling on the front porch, installation of bead board ceiling on the back covered patio area and miscellaneous interior repairs Jude worked with the city on historic preservation issues and did an overall great job.

Description of Work: Jude came out to look at my problem with faulty stucco application above windows which allowed leaking into house. Above date is approximate, but was in Aug/early Sept.

Description of Work: Replaced an original bathroom window in a house built in 1949. He listened to my ideas for a window and suggested a cost effective, corrosion resistant window that met all of my needs. Although I am planning on replacing the bathroom wall tile that buts up against the window frame, he not only did a professional job, but took care in fitting the existing tile to make it aesthetically pleasing until I decide to re-do the wall tile. He ordered the window, and would have installed it in a day except that he had to wait for exterior stucco, and some interior caulking to dry before applying finishing touches of grout.

Description of Work: Gillum Enterprises did significant remodeling of our house. They remodeled the kitchen. They painted the interior and the exterior. They also did some stucco repair and whole bunch of different things.

Description of Work: Gillum Enterprises painted the interior of my house, built an extension to a closet and chip rock taping and texturing.

Description of Work: Look no further if you are doing a bathroom remodel! This contractor does lovely work. We own a 100 year old house that had many challenging aspects to the remodel including old sewer pipes and plumbing that needed to be replaced. All problems were solved effeciently and economically. Jude was the neatest contractor we have ever had work on our home and believe me we have had quite a few rennovations done. The work was not only timely and neately completed, Jude offered some design ideas

Description of Work: Jude came back several timess on weekends to do taping and texturing in several places in my kitchen as well as living room. He's very unusual in that when he says he'll be here he actually shows up either on time or a few minutes early. He does great work, and his texturing matches what was there before. He also cleans up after himself which is refreshing. I am going to ask Jude to build an extension to my master bedroom closet as he said he also does general contracting work. I have no doubt that when he does that extension to my home it will also be a good experience.

Description of Work: Jude Gillum did extensive remodeling on our 1962 home in Mesa, AZ. I reported on this remodel shortly after completion. I have not worked with Jude since then, but without hesitation I still highly recommend Gillum Enterprises.

Description of Work: We purchased a 1962 ranch home which had been abused and abandoned. Virtually nothing had been done to the kitchen and bathrooms and they had to be taken down to the studs. There were also numerous other repairs and replacements necessary to make the house safe and habitable and bring it back to what it must have been when it was built--a well-designed, well-built house. Mr. Gillam worked with us from beginning to end. While he always respected our ideas and choices, he also did not let us make any mistakes, or sidestep any safety issues. He helped us find quality materials at reasonable prices. Mr. Gillam is a master with tile, carpentry, paint, plumbing. He saw the electrical issues with our house as too much for himself, so he brought in an electrician who was also excellent. Mr. Gillam took his time and we now have a great home.

Description of Work: Mr. Gillum installed new baseboard molding after we had tile installation. This included the entire first floor and a second floor bath. There was furniture in the home and he worked around the furniture. In the upstairs bath, the tilers had installed the tile but had left the original molding. Mr. Gillum said that he could cut off the old molding and then install the new molding. Originally, I was not going to do behind the toilet since this was hard to get to. Mr. Gillum said that he would be glad to cut out the old tile behind the toilet and replace it. This was his suggestion, not mine. (no extra charge). we have rounded sheet rock corners. We did not have rounded molding pieces. Mr. Gillum cut the molding at angles to fit the rounded corners. The entry way to the second floor bath was much higher than the original, Mr. Gillum said that he knew that Home Depot carried the threshold we needed. He went and picked out a threshold that matched our maple floors and installed the threshold. He caulked the top of the molding. he showed up on time, worked without a break for an entire long day, cleaned up all the work.

Description of Work: We used Gillam Enterprises to do a complete demolition of two bathrooms and a kitchen and then remodel.
