He apparently did not listen to the repairs that I enumerated. I told him that the fountain needed to be restored I had just replaced the pump and the float. But, The electrical box for the fountain was loose and had been tripping the GFI. The fountain bowl ineeded to be leveled. The float needed adjustment. And the water flow needed adjustment. He would set a time to do the work and then show up at a different time. He complained about the state of the fountain even though I had told him the issues from the beginning. He coated the interior of the fountain - that is really all he did. The fountain bowl is still not level. He said that it needed to be ground down but when I used a level to see whether he had tried to make the adjustment from the joints between the bowl and the base, it was obvious that he had not used a level to even attempt an adjust it. I took a photo of the leveler to show how off center the level was. The last time that he was at my house, he was very rude and wouldn't even talk to me. he had been recommended by a male friend of mine, based on what he has done for my friend, I would say that he overcharged me and doesn't like to listen to women.

It took Michael Schutt many trips (probably 6-10) to coat the interior of the cracked basin with concrete and fiberglass after cleaning the fountain thoroughly. The repair was made more difficult by the fact that the leak had led to pooled water under the cracked concrete base, which kept oozing up through the damaged basin. But the fountain now does not leak at all, and has been restored to near its original condition. This is a highly specialized type of repair, and Schutt is uniquely qualified to do it.
