+ 1 moreFoothill Grounds did a wonderful job of cleaning up my entire yard, triming my bushes and trees. They rebuild a rock wall that has started to crumble and exceeded my expectations. They were professional and always on-time, cleaned-up each day after they finished and before they left for the day. The crew was plesent and worked hard; the money spend was well worth the services we received.

+ 0 morePete and Dana were incredible! They came quickly, analyzed the backyard and gave an estimate. Once I agreed, they came in 2 days, installed an irrigation system and laid the sod down. Beautifully done, Pete even set my timer to the appropriate times throughout the day to water the lawn.

Description of Work: We had two rows of 3 foot high x 3 foot deep x 40 foot long concrete block planters built along our property walls. The work included irrigation lines, valves and soil. | |We got two bids from other companies and this was the highest one. When we starting comparing the details we found that the higher price was due to a higher quality product that would last for many years. We had previously used them for a flagstone patio 15 years ago that has held up remarkably well. So we choose Foothill grounds again and are very happy with the result. | |All the people we interacted with were polite, professional and friendly. They started and ended the work as described, and cleaned up afterwards. | |Peter, the manager/owner was very nice and responsive to our questions. | | |

Description of Work: What DIDN"T they do? Well..they didn't treat my property with any type of respect. Over the wall they built for us, they threw trash and broken pieces of the pots their workers damaged. They DIDN"T install the lighting correctly and DIDN"T install the new irrigation lines properly. What did they do? Well, can't really say...would never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone. I called several times during the process to get many things repaired to no avail.

+ -1 moreThe job of discovering the problem went well. The owner is very professional and the foundation is now very secure. They had to dig by hand to not damage pipes or windows because of the unusual nature of the problem. I was just surprised at the labor amount. It is an unusual problem.
Description of Work: The company searched the ground around the corner of my house for a tree root that made its way under the foundation. They found one major one and 3 others. They were cut out and a cement barrier was made. They are not done until I am happy with everything.

+ -1 moreWe bought a house and moved in last April and Foothills had done the landscaping and the maintenance for the house so we kept them,and have been very pleased.They come every 2 weeks,and that is the price I mentione above.We hav e had some irrigation problems which they also put in and have been very quick to come out and fix the problem.We are having some addiotnal landscaptin done and they will be the first we contact since they know the property so well.Martin does the bi weekly and is always helpful to any needs or concerns and Peter has been a great help with the irrigation
Description of Work: Bi weekly maintenance of the property back and front with in the fenced area, Just an update...we are not using this company anymore for a variety of reasons as we found another comapny who did same amount of work and more at a better price and sometimes Foothills was overwhelmed by some larger jobs and attentive to their regular customer's.Maybe things have improved for them,but we felt it was better to go elsewhere.
