Description of Work: We converted two wood burning fireplaces with a gas starter to gas logs.I used this company because I did the same thing in a house we bought in 2001. They did a great job then and did a great one this time. They arrived early, finished quickly and were thoroughly professional.

Description of Work: Built and installed shelves and a gas fireplace. Their design was excellent but they installed the wrong fireplace and the wrong chimney. Then argued with me about it. This was 7 years ago and they.may have improved since then. |

Description of Work: I called them for an estimate and e-mailed pictures of my fireplace. I did speak to someone there, and thought he was going to call me back. He did not. So, I decided to take the actual piece of pipe into the store as I was going to be in town anyway, and they denied ever having spoken to me and said they were NOT on Angie's list, as I said isn't Flame Connection on Angie's list? They said no, and they didn't know how to get on it. It was VERY disappointing to say the least. I was not impressed at all.

 + -1 moreA very good experience start to finish. Rob at Flame Connection and the installer Scott were great to work with and both took the time necessary to ensure the job got done right. Very nice to be able to press a remote control and have a fire with no cleanup.
