They always show up on time. The technician always takes the time to explain to me exactly what he did and even made some notes for things to do in the future in case I have the same problem.

They were just incredible. This is the best company as far as customer service. They're responsive and you can understand what they're saying. They explain things to you instead of just doing it and they tell you why. They're pleasant and come immediately. I highly recommend them.

I found Fast Rhino here on Angie's List and used them based on the other reviews. I called and discribed what problem I had, and confident that they could help, took my non-working hard drive over. By the second day they called and I was good to go. I purchased a new external hard drive from them and they loaded my data on it and I everything works great. They even gave me a few pointers on how I could prevent this from happening again and even told me how I could still use the old hard drive if I would want to. Good People and Excellent Service!

They won't charge you if they can't fix it, but if they can fix it then it's a flat fee of $129. I had an external hard drive that I dropped and I couldn't get the data off of it and I had a CPU that the motherboard quit, but weren't able to fix it. There was nothing that I disliked. They were prompt, honest, friendly and very good. I'd definitely use them again.

We have been using Fast Rhino for years and having them do computer work for us on many occasions for installation of new hardware and software, training and unscrambling our errors and we have NEVER been dissatisfied. They are courteous and efficient and have never suggested doing anything that was unnecessary or charged exorbitant prices for their labor. We have recommended them to friends who have all been thoroughly happy and satisfied with their work. And we will not hestitate to recommend them in the future. I would ask the gentleman who gave them a poor review if he doen't have them mixed up with some other company.

Fast Rhino is very thorough. They have set up our networking process as well as wireless processes. They explain everything they are doing and make sure that you understand all that is involved with their service. They stand by their products and are available by phone or email if you run into a problem. We wouldn't use anyone else and I would recommend them to anyone else.

I called in the morning to report the problem. Dave ( a very nice and knowledgable guy) came in the afternoon. He fixed the problem, checked/did some cleanup, conversed in a friendly way, then charged me half price of usual $85 because the service took such a short time.

I had a laptop that was a few years old and with new operating requirments (RAM) my computer was running very slow. I called Fast Rhino and they dispatched a tech the next day and it was determined that I needed to add more RAM. I was amazed that the tech could install the upgrade i9n such a short time (less than 1 hr.) After the upgrade was installed the tech ran the computer and cleaned up several other items. WOW what great service. I've used Fast Rhino for the past 3 to 4 years and each time I've called them with a problem they responded promptly and their fee's are always reasonable. I rate them a BEST BUY for keeping my computers running.

I used absolutely dread any computer problems because it is very hard to find computer service that is 1) competent and 2) not a rip-off. Thank goodness for Fast Rhino. I discovered them about three years ago and they have been a godsend. They are a small family owned company and have always given us very honest, competent, and customer oriented service. We always get great deals on new computers and equipment. They set up the computers, personalize them to the extent that you want by installing your own software or selling what you what you need, and remove all the bloatware before delivery. They have helped me with a variety of computer repair problems and have done it competently and swiftly. They have saved me money by encouraging me to bring in old software CD's to see if they are still valid rather than trying to sell me new stuff. Ditto with unnecessary repairs. I do a lot of business travel and they are always available by phone to rescue me if I have computer problems on the road. I have them on my speed dial and they have never let me down. They do work at their shop and will also come over to your house. They have helped us set up remote access, website updates, given us advice on software, hardware, and any other computer related problem. They have never tried to sell us any unnecessary goods or services. I know I sound like a fan club (we are not personal friends with them, honest), but computers have become so essential to many of us for business and personal use that having a reliable "computer guru" is extremely valuable. If you need one don't hesitate to use them. As for the person who gave them a "D" and called them "surly": The owners have always been models of politeness and professionalism. They are friendly, easy going people and I can't imagine them being "surly" with a customer.

FAST RHINO'S SERVICE PERSONNEL ARE EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY AND ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO GIVE YOU TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR COMPUTERS PERFORMANCE. I HAVE ALSO PURCHASED SEVERAL PC'S, LAPTOPS, NETBOOKS, ROUTERS AND OTHER ACCESSORIES FROM FAST RHINO. I AM HAPPY TO RECOMMEND FAST RHINO TO ANYONE NEEDING COMPUTER SALES OR SERVICE.

"It has been almost 2 years since we have dealt with this customer and now he decides to give us a poor rating?? In January of 2008, we were called out to setup Quicken for his accounting computer, which we completed on-site and the client was pleased with our service. In May of 2008, we were called out to look at another computer because it would not boot. After diagnosing the system, we determined that it was infected with viruses to the point that it needed to be put on the bench for backup and restoration. After restoring the system, (total charge was $184) we returned it to the client's satisfaction. We called the client two weeks later to follow-up and he confirmed that everything was working fine. HOWEVER, the client then stated that he was a big investor in franchises and that our company should think about becoming a franchisor. As the owner of Fast Rhino, I scheduled another meeting with the client to discuss what he had to offer and later found out that he wanted us to give him $10,000 up front, with no due diligence on his part. When I refused to provide him the money, he became angry, telling me that my company would never grow or become anything. We have not spoken with this person since. It was my thought that Angie's List was a forum for people to provide feedback related to product and service experiences, not one to attack folks who don't agree to outside business arrangements. This person is obviously not happy with Fast Rhino because we would not become his business partner. Note to Angie's List: Please consider removing this post, as it has no relevance to the measurement of our products or services."

I give Fast Rhino an A-Plus for quick response, quick diagnosis of the problem, very cogent explanation to that problem to me, and speedy repair with laptop being delivered to my home within three days. I am exceptionally pleased with the quality and professionalism of the work.

Overall performance was great. Merlin was very thorough in setting up the computer after purchase which included installation of Vista and setting up a wireless connection with a laptop computer in another room. We have used Fast Rhino on previous occasions to correct problems on our older computers. They are always available for help over the phone which has been a great help as we learn Vista. We highly recommend Fast Rhino for computer service and for the purchase and setup of new equipment.

Just when I thought customer service was a thing of the past Fast Rhino appears in my life. This is a GREAT small local business. Courtesy, expertise, and free info (for old dogs like me) abound. I was given an estimate of charges but ended up way below that (I think they charge too little for all they do!!!!) Service was timely, efficient, and friendly. I WILL use Fast Rhino again!!!! Thank you Sherrie, Merlin, and staff!!!
