Perfect, wonderful service. They were on time, friendly and professional. They arrived and with no fuss, did the job. They installed a new heat pump and water heater. Both work great. They did they job right the first time. I have also had them out for emergency service on a different a/c unit. I was out of town, but my family was at home. They responded immediately, fixed the problem and simply billed me for the service.

I contacted 4 contractors. Three gave a 5-minute look at the old system and were ready to give me an estimate. I had done my homework so I knew they were not doing what is recommended by the industry. The Family Air rep spent nearly 2 hours at my house measuring the area affected, measuring windows and noting what side of the house they were on, checking the insulation and vents, and quizzing me about problems with the old system and my normal use of heat and A/C.....in short, they did their job in analysing the size of the system needed. They recommended a system one ton smaller than the previous system. With a Consumer Report top scoring system (and a senior discout), their estimate was $500-$3500 lower than the other 3 estimates. They also offered a lifetime workmanship warranty and a 2 year "peace of mind" performance package in addition to the appliance warranty Installation took place within a week. They called when they were running late. The installers spent the day there and finally said they had a problem they needed to get help with. They were willing to keep working but I asked them to come back the next day. The following day a technician analysed the problem: a wire had shorted in the already installed (but only a month old) thermostat. There was no access to the crawl space to get at the wire. Instead of cutting a hole in the ceiling or in the roof, the guy consulted with the heat pump supplier and was able to figure out a work around that involved a simple bypass wire. They left everything cleaned up and everything looked good in the install. They waited until the following day to collect payment, after I was sure it was all working properly. I can't say enough about their courtesy, professionalism and desire to give good service. This is a company you can trust.

I had them come out when to other companies could not figure out what is wrong with my system .I have a high humidity problem and they were the only ones that were able to go out and figure out what the problem was not try to sell me something I didn't need and gave me an honest answer and solution! It is great to find somebody you can trust so well!!

I had five companies bid the project. Both my brother-in-law and step-brother were heating and air-conditioning installers in California before they retired and gave me tons of advice. While Family Air was not my lowest bidder (next one up), they were the most thorough in inspecting my old units, telling the truth, professional and gave the most accurate & detailed bid. They collected 50% up front and did exactly what they promised. The installers were very professional and knowledgable. Everything was installed perfectly and the lines were properly cleaned. They cleaned the job site and removed all old units, construction trash and washed the new equipment and walls of any hand prints. They also instructed me on the use of the system. My old system was 27 years old. The American Standard system is so quite you do not know it is on. They also installed thermostats that are extremely easy to operate and programmable. Great people to work with and know my units will have excellent service if it is ever necessary.

Family Air are extremely honest. They were able to repair an A/C unit that another company wanted to completely replace. I will give them an "A" on everything.

I don’t remember the price as I had them do some work at my boyfriend’s house. I was there a part of the time. They are very nice and get the job done. Their prices are reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

We saved about 50% on the units initially since we bought them from someone else. Their regular maintenance is relatively low and quite reasonable. They have done an A-work. They have also done some other units here. I get quick response when I call. They did the installation at a very reasonable rate. It was very positive. We got the two units for the price of one. I would use their services in the future too.
