Fagan Pool Service

We paid him for two months of service and he rocky showed up twice and then dissapeared. We called him over and over and he never returned our calls or returned to clean our pool. He only answered the phone when we called from a new phone number he answered. I told him our pool was green and he has not showed up and that we wanted a refund. He hung up on me and refused to answer any communication from me.

The quality of pool service was seriously lacking. Out of the 6 weeks Fagan Pool Service provided pool service, I was contacted by my Tenants at least 4 times complaining about Algae in the pool and debris in the pool following a pool service visit. On one occasion, I was told by the owner that he had treated the pool over the phone only to find out later that he had not treated the pool by his own confession when talking to him again on the phone. He was not consistent to leave a card in the pool filter box as proof that he had visited that day. According to the Tenants, his visits were extremely short and often he would just throw chemicals in the pool and leave without emptying the baskets or cleaning the pool. On another occasion, the Tenants noticed a dead rodent in one of the pool baskets on the morning of the day the the pool was to be serviced. When the Tenants returned later in the afternoon after the pool service had been provided the rodent was still in the basket. This was proof that the baskets had not been emptied. Per Fagan's advertisement on their flyer left at a local gas station, Fagan promises to provide weekly pool status updates and a monthly invoice via email. I never received one pool status update via email or by regular mail. After paying for the first month of service, the very next week I received another call from the Tenant's claiming the pool had algae spots growing on both ends and that Fagan Pool Service had not been provided plus no visit card had been left behind. They sent me pictures of the algae spots via email as proof. I called the owner of Fagan Pool Service the next day left a voice mail and he never returned my call. I called the next day and finally got the owner on the phone, he stated "what now is the problem?" That was enough for me to say you are released from providing any future pool service. I paid for the one month of service and for the first week of the second month and have the Intuit email receipts as proof and the owner has the audacity to state that I still owe him more money!! Due to lack of quality pool service, not following their advertisement to provide weekly pool status updates and monthly invoices, lack of return communication either by phone or by email and the owner's negative attitude, I would not recommend this pool service company unless you like being taken advantage of!!

He fixes the problem whenever there is one. He comes out personally and takes care of the issue even on a Saturday or Sunday. He seems to know what he is doing and is reliable. We sent him an email when we had problems with one of the workers who wasn?t polite and he personally came out to fix it. He sends email reports of the pool along with the bill.

Excellent! We were new to town and had just bought a new house, and didn't know anybody. Our Realtor did a little research and found Steve's web site, and his advertised prices, which were very reasonable. When I called Steve from out of town, he offered to make the 20 mile trip to our house and keep the pool maintained, until we came to town 10 days later, and he did it for free! Once we met him, we were impressed at how honest and forthright he was, and very willing to go out of his way to help us keep our pool and new home beautiful. Since we're gone from this home frequently, he even offered to keep an eye on the house.
