The first time I dealt with this company was at the recommendation of my realtor. The tech breezed through the inspection and didn't find any evidence of termites. Minutes later, the home inspector who was also working found evidence of termites. The tech returned and did apologize to his credit. Last year the tech arrived 15+ minutes late for what was supposed to be the first appointment of the day and did not apologize for his tardiness, nor did he call to say he was running late. This year I set an appointment for 8AM, which was the earliest available appointment. I work ~40min away from home, so this is my only real option. The tech arrived and rang the doorbell at 7:52AM while I was getting dressed. I hurried through putting clothes on, but by the time I reached the front door (1-2min later) there was nobody there. There was no phone call. There was no note. I called the office and got the voicemail, which provided no way to contact the tech. I left a message. I received no follow up from anyone at the company. My watch is synchronized daily with the atomic clock in Boulder, CO, so this was not an issue of my watch being off. 6min BEFORE my scheduled appointment, there was no trace of the tech. If you value your time or customer service, go elsewhere.

Executive Pest provided a complete treatment of termites around the exterior of our house and in the garage. Our house is over 3800 square feet, so there was a great deal of drilling. Chemicals were applied around the foundation and the holes were filled. Our patio area is paved with flagstone. Executive Pest blended in the drilling particles to minimize the appearance of the holes in the flagstone. The price quoted for our house is very reasonable. Ray, Dale, and the team are very courteous and thorough. We recommend them highly.
Description of Work: We are currently using Executive Pest Control for monthly spraying (inside/outside) for insects. In a recent examination, we found evidence of fresh termites. Executive Pest Control came out and did a complete termite treatment.

They are smaller so they are easier to work with. You get the same guy that comes all the time. So, I think that is important for continuity. But from the services that I would like them to provide, they don't rhyme. They are charging me probably $25 a month for rodent control and another $20 a month for pest control.

We used them for a termite inspection before buying a house. less than a year later, we discovered there was extensive damage that was not noted by the inspector. We called them back and they were extremely rude and angry about coming back. They would not give us a break on the price for repairs even though they inspected it the year earlier. We used Arizona Pest Control for the treatment instead.

Response from Executive Pest Control
The inspection obtained by [member name removed] on Sept. 19, 2012 is called a "Wood-Destroying Insect Infestation Report" sanctioned by the State of Arizona. These reports are done so a prospective buyer could be educated as to the four possible conducive conditions of wood destroying insects (Earth to Wood Contact, Excessive Cellulose Debris, Faulty Grade & Excessive Moisture). These inspections are a visual inspection ONLY and DOES NOT constitute the absence of wood destroying insects as we can not detect them through wall coverings, fixed ceilings, floor coverings, furniture or possible stored articles. If visible evidence was observed, wood-destroying insects causing such evidence would have been listed in item 8A of the report and any visible damage resulting from such infestation would have been noted in item 8D of the same report. On the day we inspected the structure(s), there was no evidence or damage observed. Furthermore, the report continues and states in Box 9, (DAMAGE OBSERVED, IF ANY), shall not be corrected by this company". This is a standard disclaimer throughout our industry. In addition, after a period of thirty days from original inspection date, we no longer have any responsibility of said property other than, if asked, to provide another original report. SEVEN months after the initial inspection, [member name removed] calls us and states they have found damage from wood-destroying insects during a dismantling of part of the structure. What they discovered could not have been observed without opening the walls. We scheduled our inspector to go out and observe their findings. The inspector observed Drywood Termite evidence and documented it on the invoice and asked to have additional access to assess the entire issue. At that time we would have proposed a plan to eradicate the termites from further damage. In closing, Yes, the damage could have been there when we originally inspected the property but no evidence was visible. I'm sure the [member name removed]'s were upset as to the answers they received but rudeness and anger on our part is not and will not be tolerated in any way. To run a business in that way is just plain suicide. I have personally conducted twenty thousand plus inspections in my career and supervised many more and this particular type of complaint is a first for me and my company. I take it personal when a customer, whether you are a one-time or a repeat client, is dissatisfied with our company performance. At this time I would like to extend my apologies to the [member name removed] for any misunderstandings they may have had from this encounter! Respectfully, Ray Campsen

We discovered termite damage to our front porch posts. We then called Executive Pest Control. The owner (Ray) came out the next day and gave us a free termite inspection. Ray showed us the areas where we had termite damage. Ray also showed us areas around the house that were potential trouble areas for termites IE: wooden planters touching the house, wooden plant trellises connecting the ground directly to the house etc. After explaining how to minimize the danger areas he went on to explain our treatment options. We wanted to go ahead and have the house treated as we hope to be in this house for many more years. The next day a technician (Dale) came out and treated the house for termites. Dale was very professional and courteous and went out of his way to explain what he would be doing and made us very comfortable with the process. Dale worked for several hours and completely cleaned up all his equipment and went out of his way to replace potted plants, door mats, trash cans and anything else he moved to perform the treatment. We received a follow up call to see if we were happy with our service or had additional questions. My wife and I would highly recommend Executive Pest Control to our family and friends. The peace of mind of having our house treated for termite's is priceless.
