EMSP Appliance Repair

Very satisfied. They diagnosed the problem from an emailed photo. Gave me an estimate. They arrived on time and completed the work as promised.

The problem was diagnosed. I decided buy a brand new refrigerator instead of paying for an expensive repair of a 13 year old one.

Excellent. Dave arrived within the stated 2 hour window. Diagnosed the problem, went the extra mileage to obtain the needed part, came back in quick time, did the repair, tested to make sure washer was functioning correctly. All within 2.5 hours without having to remove washer to a repair center. I would highly recommend Dave and EMSP. If necessary, I will avail myself of their services again.

Perfect! The appliance was enclosed in walls with an immovable work table in front of it. The repair person carefully found the problem without having to wreck any of the decor! He found a replacement part in town and immediately went out to get it and returned for a complete repair! What a miracle!

Dave from EMSP (owner) came over within a couple of days of my original call. When he arrived, he took charge, quickly determining the exact cause of the heating failure. He secured the part and finished up our repair very quickly that same day. He tested the oven and the degrees it was kicking out prior to leaving. He was so professional and you could tell he knew the appliance. He was very careful with our surrounding travertine tile. Excellent job.

Took a second trip, but they found the correct issue and fixed it. They were very pleasant to work with. Josh came first and then David joined him a couple of days later with another part. They got the job done!

When I spoke to Josh on the phone he offered a diagnosis and obtained the essential part. The oven was fixed in little more than hour. It has been working fine ever since.

It was a busy time of year, so it was hard to reach him. However, once he responded, he came right out and brought parts with him. So once he did the diagnosis, he was able to immediately fix the problem (no driving back and forth or waiting for parts to come in for a return trip). Very knowledgeable and effective.

They were the only one who responded to my needs. He scheduled an appt in two days and got the job promptly done. Would definitely rehire them again for other future problems on my appliances.

They were very honest, and told us it would cost as much to repair the fridge, as it would be to buy a new one. They even recommended the most reliable brands.

David was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. Wouldn’t hesitate to call again.

David arrived on time with all tools necessary for this repair. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Diagnosed the problem very quickly. Everything working fine. At this time of the year, ice is really important.

While the ultimate cost to fix the fridge did not make sense relative to the cost of a new one, they were timely and thorough and did not charge for the second trip. They were on time, communicated effectively and were transparent about the cost to repair vs. replace. They also wore masks and gloves and were very sensitive to the current situation.

Good work and fixed the problem but haven't received final bill.

I was super impressed with Josh! I called the office and Josh arrived within 2 hours. He is very polite, he took off his shoes, asked for old towels to protect my floor and got to work. He even had a part which was broken and replaced it during the visit. He replaced idler pulley, belt and drum support rollers. He also vacuumed debris sitting inside of the dryer and lint screen. He was very pleasant and happy to help. I also asked him about a repair of our microwave door and refrigerator lights - he said he will check if they have parts in the office. He did not dismiss any of my questions and genuinely was trying to help. I'm very impressed with EMSP and Josh for coming the same day I called, notifying me before his arrival, being on time, fixing the dryer, cleaning the area of his work and willing to address my other problematic appliances. The best company ever!!!! Thank you so much!

This refrigerator had a good 14-year run before it needed servicing. And after two trips they were able to everything repaired/replaced and back in great running order. I was so relieved not to have to buy a new unit.

The problem was explained clearly and an accurate estimate was given. The repairman was interactive and open to my questions. Completely satisfied with my experience.

We expained the problem the problem and gave the brand and model number to David. He showed up when promised with the needed replacement part with him. The defective valve was replaced with the dishwasher back in place in less than an hour. Great job.

Josh, my technician, was prompt, professional and courteous. He answered all of our questions, and after the diagnostic he let us know that we didn[t need any extra repairs. We really appreciated his honesty, and for that, they will get our business again.

This and 3 other companies were notified through Angie's list on Monday. EMSP and A-Z were the only two that called right away. Unfortunately A-Z was unable to come out for a few days Victor was giving me suggestions to help the refrigerator to unfreeze and other things to check . David, the owner of EMSP, came the next day after calling. He came out and inspectied fridge. Explained problem so we totally understood all options. He ordered parts on Tues evening and they were back on Thurs. Josh did an amazing job. He was here for 3, hours getting fan de iced and working before replacing the motherboard. He stayed until he was sure that he got everything fixed. Cheaper than a new fridge. I would and will call them again.

Excellent response in all respects. I talked to three or four appliance repair companies before selecting EMSD. One said he did not work on Viking products, one said it could require a new compressor at 1,200 dollars and one said he could not give any guess as to the cause of the problem. David, from EMSD, spent a fair bit of time on the phone with me and opined that it probably was not a major problem. He arrived at the appointed time, spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem and fixed it perfectly.
