 + -1 moreKitchen turned out great. The wife loves it and therefore, it is great. Rick planned and executed the entire job himself. He does the cabinet work in his own shop. We purchased all of the fixtures, appliances, tile, granite, electrical options ourselves, and Rick installed everything. He repaired the tile floor, which we chose to keep, with leftover tile from the original installation. He added a pass-through 'window' to the dining room which opened up the kitchen to make it more airy. He constructed a soffit for some lighting and did all the drywall, texturing, and painting. All-in-all, great job at a reasonable price. I'd hire him again in a minute.

custom cabinets, home remodeling
 + 0 moreRemoval of old cabinets involved lots of dust and debris. EagleOne emailed photos showing progress. They covered all of the furniture in the living room and dining room; they are adjacent to the kitchen where the work is being done. All debris was removed from the premises, making the empty kitchen look like it was ready for the work that was to be done. A pass through from the kitchen to the dining room and a new skylight were just part of the new kitchen. This meant new drywall so all would be ready for paint and cabinetry. So far, so good. Actually, all is looking great so far. I'll provide updates as the work continues. Total cost of kitchen remodel, as bid by EagleOne, was approximately $22,000.
Description of Work: First update on kitchen remodel. The demo stage is now complete and the wall repairs/changes have begun. Excellent job thus far. Since I am not in the same city at the moment (this is a winter residence), Rick is providing us with daily email updates with pictures showing the work and progress.

 + -1 moreWe were totally impressed but Rick Caldwell's professionalism and his abilities. Awaiting bid.
Description of Work: Rick provided conceptual design for kitchen remodel. Thorough and professional. After initial visit to our home, Rick provided first draft of design. The very next day we went to his home/office where he showed us his personally designed and executed kitchen remodel. We then went to his office where he used a 42" monitor to show us his concept for our kitchen. Using his professional software, he made instantaneous changes to his first draft. We spent more than 2 hours working some of the details in the design. His software is capable of creating a detailed bill of material needed for the job. Since Rick's shop is capable of truly custom cabinet design, the customer's exact needs can be met. He showed us examples of his work at both residential and commercial sites; his work appears to be excellent. After our 2 hour+ visit to his office, he telephoned me to request a quick 2nd visit to our home in order to make check on some details needed to approach a more finalized design. Very impressive.
