I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Dynamic Comfort LLC, A/C & Heating, regarding their unprofessional conduct, failure to honor warranty agreements, and delay in issuing a promised refund. On April 28, 2023, I purchased a 10-year warranty for $2,660. However, the company initially claimed I only had a 1-year warranty that had expired. After providing them with a picture of my contract, they acknowledged their error and agreed to add an additional year of service due to their failure to provide service during the first year. Dynamic Comfort finally came to service my units on June 22, 2024, after missing the scheduled appointment on June 7, 2024. At that time, they confirmed that both units were running efficiently. On September 16, 2024, I contacted the company because one of my units was not working. Their technician, Zack, evaluated the unit and quoted $3,500 for a new compressor with a 5-year warranty or $16,000 for a new unit (discounted from $20,000). He also mentioned that prices would increase by 40% next year. After negotiating, Zack initially agreed to apply the warranty cost towards the new unit. However, upon returning later that evening, he stated the warranty discount could not be honored, and the price would remain $16,000. Dissatisfied, I sought a second opinion from Ultra Air, who evaluated my unit and found it in excellent condition, requiring only a breaker replacement. I replaced the breaker for a few hundred dollars, and the unit has been running perfectly since then. I contacted Paul at Dynamic Comfort, explaining my loss of trust in their company and requesting a full refund of my warranty. Megan in the office assured me on September 20th that a refund check would be issued. On October 16, 2024, I received a check for only $620, accompanied by an invoice deducting $1,641 for service performed on April 23, 2023, which is inconsistent with the invoice I received. After calling Megan to address the discrepancy, she agreed and promised a corrected refund. As of November 6, 2024, no additional check has been received. On November 19th and 21st, I texted Paul for updates, but I have received no response. Dynamic Comfort LLCâ s actions demonstrate a lack of accountability, misrepresentation of services, and poor customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is not to be trusted!

Nate was exceptionally thorough and detailed about what the problem was and options to fix it; as well as what could be done to avoid similar problems in the future.

Buy from elsewhere, he is not the best in the business as claimed and neither are his installers. He is amateur at best. Highly disappointed with quality of work, and quite frankly very ashamed of home advisors and Angies list for promoting such a company. His actual crew to install my system was in fact another company, so essentially he hired sub contractors. He will deny this until he is blue in the face, but when all the installers are wearing another company shirt and the lead installer says he owns his own business it is pretty obvious. Yes, he did come back out to **try** and fix it, but honestly it was more of the same. Am I happy, yes happy I do not have to deal with them again. If you have had work done by them I suggest having your system looked over by another company to get the truth. I cannot wait for his response... he is such a great salesman!

I love that I can trust them not to up sell me. When other companies were trying to sell me a heat pump, Eric was able to install an AC and furnace for about half the price. There were no hidden fees either. I paid exactly what I was quoted. The installation was easy and so quick it didnâ t even get hot inside before my new unit was up and running. This is a quality company that cares about people. I highly recommend them.

After a routine service, Nate (the son of the owner) spoke to my husband about the fact that a new unit would be recommended. We arranged a meeting to discuss this so that I could be included. There were several financing packages, and since we indicated a desire for a lower payment Nate steered us to one that he said would be $122.86/month for 79 months. (I think he actually said 79.3, but not positive on the decimal). I questioned Nate several times on this because while the financing plan said about 10% interest, the payments that he quoted were basically resulting in a no-interest loan. He insisted that this was what our payment would be for 79 months based on 1.25% of the loan amount is our payment. After going around with him several times, and he repeatedly guaranteeing this amount and term, we believed him and signed off. Based on this we recommended it to our daughter. When he went to see her, she was given roughly the same estimate (125 and change for 79 months.) Our daughter received a statement from the loan company, after the unit was installed (we have yet to get this, although I am sure we will.) According to the document, her minimum payment is the amount that Nate quoted her, and if she pays that amount, it will take her 11 years to pay off, and she will pay over $6K in interest. I texted Nate on 12/5 and was pleasantly surprised that he called me back. When I explained my concerns, I reiterated our conversation about the payment amount and that he had said we would have to pay for 79 months. At his request I sent him a screenshot of the statement, he said that he did everything like Synchrony said to do it, and it should match what he told me. He said that they would contact Synchrony on Monday and get back to me. When the owner, Eric, called me on Tuesday, he basically insinuated that all three of us ( my husband, my daughter, and me) had misunderstood and when I insisted that Nate be included in the conversation, Nate absolutely denied that he had told us that that the payments would last 79 months, even though on Saturday he had completely agreed with me. He insisted that we had all agreed that those numbers (79 months - $122.86) did not add up - absolutely untrue. I was the one that questioned the payments/installment/interest rate figures that he had given. He repeated to me several times that the payment amount was for 79 months, insisted that was all we would owe. We even discussed, at our meeting, that it would be great that we would pretty much have the unit paid off when the warranty and our service plan ended. Today he insisted that he never said that and that we misunderstood. As I explained to Eric and Nate, we are not rookies at this, have had several of these types of accounts where is the loan was paid off, there was no interest, and in trusting Nate, assumed that this was the case. We are also not financially insecure but just did not want to dip into our savings, which we had also made clear to Nate. What we feel the worst about is that we recommended them to our daughter, a single homeowner, who now is stuck with a much longer time, or higher payment, to pay this loan off. So beware of their financing, and again, get Everything in writing - even the fact that there were three of us who heard the same thing did not make a difference when reasoning with them. Our fault for trusting, but do not want someone else to get the surprise that we did.
