Hired their services because a close family member works with them on a part time basis. He showed me the damaged worn areas that needed replaced. I agreed as long as the unit was installed outside(unit is inside and very loud) but he was not a fan of the entire outside units and recommend a quieter inside unit. I agreed as long as it was quieter. I have multiple witnesses to this. Paid him half upfront(3200 bucks). He returned and installed the new system. Turned it on and it was just as loud as the old one. He said and I quote " it has a variable speed motor. It will sound louder at start up and than quiet down as the unit gets going". Well, I bought the line of crap and the system. Another 3200 bucks. I called him back out so he could listen to it because I was not happy. He did listen to it and told me he needed to do some research and talk to his rep about the problem. Another week went by and he returned with no real solution. A contractor friend of mine and I where working on a addition to my house and we brought up a idea to move the unit into this area so it would be out of the way and we would not hear it. He seemed to think that it just might be doable but again needed to do some research. Another week or maybe longer goes by and he returns and tells me that plan won't work because the duct work would have to be redone under the house(I live in a manufactured home). He tells me the only way to make things to my satisfaction is to install a different system all outside(which he talked me out of to begin with). He then proceeds to ask for another 1850 dollars. I explained that I did not have that kind of money and he should put a system in that I asked for(one that was quieter than the older one). I didn't care if it was inside or outside. I just wanted a quieter system. One that doesn't sound like a jet airplane taking off. Once again I have a witness to this. He informed me he would be back to take care of the problem but give him a few weeks. A month goes by and I call him and leave a message about how irritated and disappointed I was becoming because of his lack of communication with me. He called me back and left a message on my phone stating and I quote " I refused to pay the 1850 dollars and that offer was no longer on the table". His next statement and I quote" you have a perfectly working system that I installed with no problems so I don't need to return". I am out 6400 dollars for a system I didn't want. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK AND THEY MOST DEFINITELY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

This is the second visit and Dustin Canfield, as usual, stayed until the problem was fixed. He is very personable and professional.
