I have used Doc's in the past and was satisfied. This time there were issues. They cleaned the residue band on the tile in less than an hour. I met the owner, Derek, and initially the tile looked fine as it was still wet so I paid him in full. After the tile dried however, you could still see the band all the way around the pool where they had cleaned. I sent him a text a few hours after they left and told him I was concerned that the band was still there. He suggested I send him photos. I sent him 3 photos which clearly showed the visible band and asked him what he thought. I never heard back from him. I sent him more texts, an email and left voicemail. I know he got the photos etc. because I could see the read receipts. I was a repeat customer and this time, because I had a concern about the job and he had already been paid, he just ignored me. I was respectful in my inquiries to him, and waited patiently for him to respond. (It has now been 3 weeks) He never bothered to respond at all. Apparently, that's the way he conducts his business. If you're happy with his work , all is good. But if you feel there is an issue with the work and would like to talk to him about it, and he has been paid, he ignores you. I don't expect people to jump any time I ask for a response. But after paying $495 sending 3 photos, texts messages, voicemail and an email, I did expect he would have the courtesy to respond to a repeat customer who was not satisfied with his work. He didn't. Very disappointing.

Doc did a great job for me. On my first call he gave me an estimate (looked at my pool with a satellite view) and we set a day/time. He was on time (early actually). Got everything cleaned up, and gave me a few tips for keeping it clean. Great job!

Excellent service. A little pricey but fine knowing that they use a cleaning medium that will not harm the pool. Doc was very professional and did a great job. He’s also very knowledgeable about the water and what to do to treat the pool. We will be using him again. Highly recommend.

First of all, I was impressed by Doc's professionalism. He was schedule to clean the pool tile on a Friday, but his van broke down. He called me 45 minutes before the appointment to advise that he would be unable to make it, but could come out the next day, a Saturday. He arrived on time, and got right to work. I am ecstatic about how great the pool tile looks after the cleaning. It looks as good as the day it was installed, 11 years ago. I will never use a pumice stone again, especially since it is grueling work, and takes so long. To me it is well worthwhile (and well worth the money) to have Doc do the cleaning, using his salt method.

They pointed out "pitting" from a former cleaning but Doc was able to clean as much as possible.

Doc did a great job removing all of the minerals. I appreciated his explanation as to why the salt he uses is less destructive to tiles than glass beads used by others. After he vacuumed the residue on the pool bottom, the water looked great. He arrived when promised and the price was very competitive. Our pool looks so much better now.

Doc showed up at the promised time, was very courteous, and started working right away. He did an excellent job on the tile and the rocks which had quite a bit of calcium deposited on them. He then asked me if I was going to clean the pool walls, and I said I was going to pressure wash them myself. He told me a chlorine wash would be better and told me how to do it and how much liquid chlorine to get (this is a service he offers and he did not have to give me that info). The tiles and rocks look brand new now, and the algae is gone and we are looking forward to a summer of clean swimming. Thank you, Doc

We met Doc at a local home show in Tucson on a Friday. We saw the display and videos he had and were intrigued since we had tried many times and many ways ourselves to remove the calcium build-up around the edge of the pool. He pulled up an overhead view of our house, was able to measure the pool, and give us a quote. We immediately made an appointment. The following Wednesday he showed up - exactly on time - climbed into the pool and began blasting the deposits off the tiles and rocks. When he was done he vacuumed the residue off the bottom of the pool, hosed down the area and cleaned up and removed all his gear. You'd never know he was there except the pool tiles and rocks looked brand new. (I repeatedly mention the rocks since often companies can clean tile but getting the calcium off and out of the natural rock is a completely different story.) We were very pleased and will use his company again. (Living in AZ, hard water is a fact of life and calcium build-up inevitable. While we can try various things to mitigate the 'white lines' around the pool, they will happen. When it gets bad, we will get Doc to come back.)
