Designs For Do It Yourselfers

Description of Work: The program is "designs for do-it-yourselfers". Diane came to our new home, took measurements and went room by room asking specific questions about what we wanted and needed. She was happy to include existing furniture and furnishings I had already into the plan. About a week later, she met with my husband and I to go over what she had come up with to help us decorate our home. We were presented with an amazingly detailed and color illustrated book that clearly explained what colors and furniture would work for each room. Along with this she included actual websites and stores where we could obtain rugs, couches, chairs, kitchen and diningroom furniture and furnishings. She made this SO easy for us, and believe me I am not good at any of this! The place is coming together nicely thanks to Diane and Merge Design Group. My Husband and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about making a positive change to their living environment! Thanks so much, you have customers for life!

Description of Work: Diane is a professional in every way. I was at a loss on how to update my living room/dining room and kitchen to be more contemporary, but on a budget. In addition, I needed help in choosing exterior and interior paint colors. Within 10 days of our initial meeting, Diane prepared a detailed "plan" booklet. She walked me through it step by step (furniture re-arrangement, what style of dining table/chairs will work best, and suggesting for area rugs, lighting, accessories, and artwork..

Description of Work: I just had my house repainted so I had the woman from Merge Design Group come and give me recommendations for new curtains, furniture, etc.

Description of Work: We wanted to remodel our very small galley kitchen and redecorate our adjacent living & dining rooms. We have limited space because we have a smaller house and it's over 75 years old, so we wanted it to be respectful of the character and time period. We asked Diane to use as much existing furniture and art in her interior design and to maximize efficiency and storage in the kitchen.
