I am a landlord and Daystar is my go-to electrician. I call them for jobs big and small, and they are always responsive, reasonable, professional, and courteous. Highly recommended!

Great job. Because our breaker box was full, Daystar had to install a few split breakers (2 in one form factor) in order to install the surge protector tie in. Great product, excellent price, perfectly done work. The job area was cleaned up thoroughly and the circuit breaker panel neatly labeled with the new functions.

I called Day Star, and Roger answered and took down all my information. He said that he could come by and provide a free estimate that very afternoon. Roger and Drew (Father and Son) showed up on time, did a very thorough assessment, and provided me a quote by 7 AM the next morning. I got additional quotes for the same work, and although the other quotes were less expensive, Roger and Drew pointed out additional things that needed fixing from previous electrical work that was done. I selected Day Star, and couldn't be more pleased with the result. They quickly scheduled the work to be completed, arrived promptly when they said they would, worked diligently through the day, and completed the work. They will definitely be my Electrical Contractor of choice from now on.

Got tied up with a Tucson Electric Power job so came close to 5pm on a Friday. Mis-measured in one area from behind existing receptacle so had to re-install drywall patch (size of receptacle) and block and screw back in place. Not a big deal but closer measurement would have avoided mistake.

Roger and Drew were arrived and went to work right away, they were able to diagnose and come up with a solution quickly. They were fast, friendly, and professional. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

Roger and his son were amazing! We called them to see if they could help us resolve an electrical problem in our garage that had prevented us from using most electrical outlets and lights in there. When they arrived it took them only a few minutes to resolve the problem that had us puzzled for well over a year! We were very impressed by how knowledgable they were. They also rewired the swamp cooler which we hadn't been able to use for over two years. There were also three lights in the garage that didn't work, they were able to tell us exactly what needed to be done to fix them and the only reason they did not do the job was because they did not have the parts they needed to complete the job. Since things went so great, we got an estimate from them to wire a 60gallon compressor. They gave us a very reasonable estimate and were even able to come back the next week on Labor Day to get it going for us. When they came back the next week, we were once again impressed by their great work. They arrived and got straight to work and did a wonderful job. Once the work on the compressor was completed I asked for an estimate to fix a ceiling fan that had fallen out of our ceiling in our guest bedroom thinking we could schedule something for the future. But Roger and his son were more than willing to stick around and knock that out as well since they had the piece they needed. We were so grateful for how honest, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly they were. They really are so very pleasant and friendly to interact with, and they love dogs! We have a few more electrical repairs to get completed around the house and we will definitely be calling them again.

Electrical checked out as OK. Agreed on additional electrical work that needed to be done but have had no respose since then. Don't know if they're still in business.

First contacted yesterday. They tried to get over that day but another job ran overtime and they called to ask to come out today. Very punctual 2nd time. The ceiling is at a slant and they also had to take down a fan and existing light fixture. Fan not compatible with light bar as it could shimmy when it's on. Never used the ceiling fan in that room anyway. They installed the light bar and got it parallel to the floor and it looks great.

It was excellent. Great service provided. It's a father and son business and they have done great work in the past and I would continue to use them in the future.

We found the company on Angie's List. Spoke to the owner, he returned a call, we set up a time for the job to be done. They called at just before the predetermined time and arrived shortly thereafter. Job was done well, cleaned up, and we could not be more pleased.

Fixed the circuit breaker that was out of order. Called me back on a SUNDAY! Unheard of. Came out next morning prompt and early and fixed the defective circuit breaker. Could've told me the whole panel needed replacement and I wouldn't have known the difference. He was honest, very competent, and friendly. Fixed our breaker and we have cold air again! What more could one ask for?

Roger was incredibly nice and very responsive. He was at our house to check out what we needed the same day I first called then scheduled the service for just 3 days later. He was efficient and did exactly what we expected at an incredibly reasonable price. Would highly recommend Roger!!

Very responsive to initial call. Drew, the technician, was very efficient and professional. He also replaced a couple of outlets at my request that were not on original service order.

I love this father/son team!!! They are punctual, quick to return phone calls, easy to schedule with and are meticulous in their work. We've used them twice and will again I'm sure.

I spoke with Roger via the phone multiple times today because our AC went out. My husband and I were fairly certain it was an electrical issue. The first time I spoke with Roger, we spent a few minutes discussing the problem and why we felt it was electrical in nature (as opposed to HVAC related). He let me know that he felt it was an AC-related problem but that he'd be more than happy to send a tech our way to check out the problem - and I must add he did this in the best way possible. There was no rudeness in tone or demeanor and I never felt he was not willing to assist. I really did feel he was just being upfront and honest with me. He also let me know, upfront, what the cost of the service call would be. Lo and behold, Roger was right! It was an AC-related problem. After speaking to him multiple times today via the phone (one of which was him calling me to let me know Drew would be later than anticipated - bonus points for communication!!), we finally got the AC working! Roger was such a very nice person and I would ABSOLUTELY call them in the future for any electrical work - without hesitation. I must say, there are a few companies I found on Angie's List that I did not contact because I did not like their responses to some of the customer complaints on the website. After speaking to Roger, I feel absolutely confident that not only would he address any complaints, but he would do so politely and professionally. Roger, if you are reading this, you are awesome. Thank you!! I will sing your praises every chance I get.

Roger responded to our serve request promptly and scheduled us for 36 hours later. Drew arrived right on time. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and tidy and made some very helpful suggestions on issues needing correcting. Roger and Drew are now our go-to electricians.

It went very well. Two workers came out to perform the service. They were very helpful. It took them two days to complete the work. They were pretty prompt. I would recommend them. They were highest amount all the quotes that we asked for.

Everything went well. I had to run to the hardware store to get some needed parts. Father and son team so their hourly rate reflects a team price. I little higher than some unlicensed folks I've used in the past but they were diligent in efforts to troubleshoot a long term issue with an outdoor circuit. Installed a new track fixture and it works perfectly. Nice, honest guys. Recommend them.

Roger and Drew provided excellent service on upgrading are electrical service. They were on time and very professional in there work. The upgrade came out excellent. I would highly recommend day star service to anyone. Roger and drew work well together.

I needed to replace my garbage disposal, but did not want to do so until I had the 2-prong receptacle under the sink inspected and converted to 3 prong if the ground was in fact present as I suspected it was, since most of the receptacles in the kitchen were grounded. I can do a lot of my own repairs, but won't mess with the electrical particularly in a 1950s vintage house since you never quite know what you will encounter. After checking Angie's List against the BBB and proximity to my home, I called Day Star. I explained what I needed and was given an estimate which I thought reasonable. Because of my work schedule the appointment was made for later in the day. Roger and his son arrived exactly at the appointed time and went straight to work. I found them to be knowledgeable, friendly yet professional. After verifying that the circuit did have ground, a new receptacle and faceplate were installed. I would certainly hire them again and plan to do so after the first of the year to take care of some other electrical work. Even more importantly, I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Set up appointment by phone. Said would call when finished with current job. Did and said would arrive in an hour. Arrived promptly, check breaker panel and replaced one circuit breaker. Checked inside house to see that problem had been fixed. Chatted with for a few minutes. It's a father and son business. Very nice people.
