The most trustworthy, reliable and competent outfit. They kept me appraised at all steps of the repair. Highly professional. They replaced the Freon, coil and filter. It was under warranty, I purchased the a/c from them 11 or 12 years ago and it was still under warranty so I only paid for the Freon. My home warranty under American Home Shield quoted me just under $2000 so this was a no brained. I am a confident D and H client and will continue to rely on their expertise, professionalism and compassionate service. Parts had to be ordered so I was without a/c during the 110 degree heatwave. No worries! D and H brought me at no charge a large portable A/C unit so we managed just fine. I highly recommend D and H!

Peter was knowledgeable, personable and efficient. My furnace maintenance review was completed quickly with lots of photos and detailed explanations. It gave me confidence that my unit is in good condition.

Had 2 new AC units installed a year ago, and the job is still not done correctly. The roof where the pipe comes out was never sealed or secured by install. They have yet to fix it, and they schedule the team to come out and they do not show up. Would never recommend them!

Our AC wasn't blowing cold, D&H had been our service for years, so we called them. They came out, changed a capacitor, helped for a minute but the original issue returned. It took them 9 days to back out to us, at which point they i formed us that the both AC coils had frozen over and caused the coils to burst, they needed to be changed out under warranty but the labor would be $3,200!!!! There was no leak before the capacitor, 9 days later there was suddenly a catastrophic failure that D&H claimed they did not cause and even said my wife was at fault for not making herself "available " for the appts they had available. After several calls we decided to call Chas Roberts. Their tech showed up in 30min or so, i explained what D&H had diagnosed and he went to work. This young man was at our house for 3 hours!!, checked every piece of the system and fiind that there were zero leaks, no burst coils, and only 1lb light on refrigerant, plus there was an adjustment he made to a pressure valve. By the time he explained everything the house had dropped 3 deg and within an hour was back to normal. He did all of this work for $195.00!!!! D&H are a bunch of lying thieves, do t waste your time or money, call Chas Roberts, ask for Anthony, kid is legit.

They try to over charge me with a 500% mark up on their service. Do not use them

This review is not on the tech. Its on after the sale and install follow up. D&H knows all the issues we had prior to buying a new unit and they made that right. They alao know about the defective product and made that right. But my complaint is what happened after the install. The thermostat was loose and not installed securly, even the tech moved it back in place and didnt say or do anything about it. I had to call and get someone back out to secure it. After second system was installed and finally working, before tech left he said someone would be in contact to fix the damaged drywall where the return air was put in. Not even an appoligy. One week later no call. I call D&H and im told it will be sent to a third party and they will contact me. 4 days later still no call so i call back and ask for phone number to contractor and im told they dont have it but she will send my info to the scheduler and they will contact me and also have contractor contact me. So now were on today almost 24 hours later and still no call. So D&H im not haooy with service after the sale. You got ny $18,000 dollars and im a closed book. By the was they also took out the old gas furnance and shut gas valve off but did not cap the line. This im told is a must. Its sad but im having to hire someone to come and repair the wall and install the return airvent properly(only one of 4 screws are holding it and there is nothing keeping the unit from pulling air, dust and what ever from the wall cavities. There is a top board in attic but air is still being pulled from around cracks and holes and open space)the areanwhere the air handler attaches to the duct work is loosing more air then what comes outbof the registers. High power line is not secure and they used part of the old systems condensation tube to run the new line, the old tube is colapsed. This is just not quality work. Ive asked for someone to come out and see this with no responce. Very disapointed, thatbi have to hire another hvac comoany to come clean up their work

2+ years on D&H two zone Daikin Systems with maintenance contract. Evaporator coil leaking. Charged me $95 to come out to diagnose problem. Coil needed replacing. One week later no call to schedule replacement. I called they sent out repairman next day. Couldn't complete job as was missing parts and helper. Said they would call me the next day. The next week I CALLED them got the run around. Came out the next time but after they removed a very slowly leaking but functioning coil, but then they discovered that they were sent out with the wrong replacement coil part. Now A/C doesn't function at all!. Said they would call me the next day. Nope! I called them as was told that the correct part coil is not available for 2-3 weeks. STAY AWAYFORM THEM and DAIKIN!!!

Called D&H about 1030 and the technician arrived mid-afternoon the same day. Due to the extreme cold temperatures, even snow flurries, the heat pump wasn't working at optimum capacity. Fernando made some adjustments to both the thermostat and the unit. He waited to ensure the indoor temperature reached the level desired by homeowner. Have been a customer of D&H for over 20 years and this excellent response and quality of service is why I continue to call on them. Both the office staff and the technicians are professional, courteous, provide great service.

We hired D & H Air conditioning, at the advice of our realtor, in March of 2020 for a home buying inspection. We hired a specific AC inspector to make sure the unit was working properly above and beyond our regular home inspector. We had other specific inspectors there and we were checking in on them all periodically. We (my husband, our realtor, the sellers realtor, and I) were with the D&H tech when my husband asked if the single 5 ton unit is big enough for this house since it was over 2800 square feet. My husband had heard that anything over 2000 square feet needed 2 units. Our previous home was smaller and it had 2 units. The tech informed us that it was at the top of the range but it was sufficient for this house. My husband isn’t an expert so he thought ok, this guy's the expert, he should know. We moved in in May and noticed the AC not keeping up with the rising heat but thought it was because we were still moving in and trying to get settled. I finally called D & H and said that the system isn’t cooling properly and we were told (from other AC companies) that the unit wasn’t anywhere near the right size for a house this large. I talked to a woman that was new, she was some sort of “manager”. I explained the situation and she informed me that they had different tiers of home inspections. When we hired D & H, we were never advised that there were different tiers of inspections and what was included in them. The tech had the perfect opportunity when my husband asked the size of the unit question to inform us of these tiers or say he didn't know the answer. Instead he gave us an answer that was 100% wrong. She said she had to talk to someone higher up and would get back to me. She called back and said that they couldn’t help us, that the tech didn’t document that question in his report. Why would he? Do the techs document every client question? That would not be reasonable. The owner, general manager, an install expert and a new construction designer from D & H came to the house and performed an inspection of the system and determined that the unit was too small for our house. They found multiple major problems with the whole system: 1. The unit in the garage (furnace) was installed incorrectly. 2. The duct work in the attic wasn’t insulated in parts and some of the ducting was old grey duct and falling apart. 3. The air getting into the master bedroom wasn’t sufficient (it’s the furthest room from the unit). All of the above mentioned problems were not found by the original tech that performed the pre-purchase inspection. If we had known about the different tiers we could have researched this further. Instead we thought we were getting one thing and basically all the tech did was make sure the fan spun and air came out of the vents. Had we known about these major problems, we would have negotiated with the seller of the home to correct these problems prior to purchase. D&H stated that they would “make it right”......They offered to do all the work at a price of over $20,000, then they would take 33% off that. Excuse me, what? That’s not making it right! That’s taking advantage of people and inflating the price to STILL make a profit! We received numerous other quotes and even with the 33% off, D & H’s price was still the highest, by far. On top of all this, we used them for the house we sold a couple weeks after the offer on this house at our realtors advice. The tech that came out basically said the older unit on that house needs to be replaced since it was so old. We offered a home warranty knowing this but it was still working. It worked better than the unit at the new house! Needless to say, we bought them a new AC unit because of what that tech told them. So basically D&H is making us buy 2 AC units! We tried to work with this company but when the lies and the excuses started, we knew we were in trouble. I feel it's my duty to the community to help someone else out so they don't make the same mistake we did and hire this company and when something goes wrong, they don't stand by what they do/say. We do NOT want this to happen to anyone else. They made buying our dream home a nightmare! Fernando and I discussed options of service, motor replacement vs new system. Pricing on motor. Different systems avail. He arranged an appointment with a customer rep to come by same afternoon. Very nice person to deal with. Thank you Fernando.

He found our problem quickly, explained what we needed to do to fix . It was great that he explained so I could understand.

D&H was superbly responsive and able to get a technician out to my house within about an hour of my call, (they even came out earlier to work with my schedule) Austin, the technician was polite and knowledgable and able to diagnose the issue within a few minutes. Pricing was reasonable and the service overall was excellent. I’ll be using them again for any future AC maintenance and repair needs!

Kalem was very polite, cordial, and professional. Actually helped me take the lug nuts off my tire, which was obviously not part of the AC inspection. Definitely will get my business in the future.

Josh was very polite and called before he showed up to let me know approximate time of arrival, which is wonderful. He explained all he was doing and I appreciated his professionalism. I always recommend D and H when someone needs ac or heater work done.

Kalem quickly diagnosed a fault coil of a newly installed system

Kalem quickly checked out our household system and determined that it was in good condition, and the only problem was a weak breaker. He did suggest an accessory that would reduce the starting current of the compressor, but did not aggressively try to make a sale. He only made us aware it was available, along with an estimate. He recommended some cleaning and changes we could make to improve efficiency. We were charged only the call-out fee. My grandson, who manages the physical plant of a local factory, asked for his card, since he is looking for a good a/c service with commercial rating.

Excellent service. Left a query on Angies list for four companies. D&H responded first, came out same day and got the unit up and running. No more 90-degree house! Very Pleased.

Kory came for my routine maintenance/checkup today, was professional and got the job done quickly. I pay around $16 a month for them to come every 6 months and also be on call if I have any issues, I believe I also get some other assurances with this service, check their website for more information. Kory didn't find any issues with my Unit during the visit. He offered me one up sell, but was super courteous about it and not pushy at all. I appreciate learning about additional services that may extend the life of my unit when it's not aggressive. Thanks Kory!

D and H's technicians are always thorough and competent. Our system works perfectly because of their regular maintenance. Scheduling vs. when they show up can be a problem at times but that could be due to the uncertainty of how long it takes for a technician to finish the previous job.

The A/C on my ductless mini splits went out at night. I called at 7:20am the next morning and left a message. Got a call back at 8.05am. They called twice to make sure I understood the price for a service call. The tech arrived at about 11.00am. The tech was FABULOUS! He clearly explained the problem, the solution, and fixed it. Overall, I found he customer service and the tech very professional and helpful. D&H is the best!

Victor and Zach...you Rock!! Here on time with masks, gloves, and booties. It was a complete replacement of our old HVAC system. Removal of old air conditioning unit (outside) and Heater inside, and installation of new units took five hours. They worked straight through, no breaks, courteous and professional. Cleaned up and explained how the new thermostat worked!! We have been with D&H for the past ten years!! Excellent!!

It went well he did a good job. The only thing was he did not go in the attic to check the units their.

The service man came to check my A/C for its annual no charge check. He also had to go into my attic for the furnace unit. Said everything was ok. He left in a hurry, leaving his very tall ladder. Sever weeks later when I went to get my medicine that was stored in my closet I discovered it was no longer there. I call D & H to speak to the service man and also report the ladder was at my home. The service man no longer worked there. I tried to turn my A/C on and it didn’t work. D& H wanted now to charge me for a service call. Total rip off company.
