Excellent work performed. Service Technician (Rafael Tapia) gave me courtesy call 30 mins ahead. We he arrived, I gave him what I was looking for in regards to my system. He performed a diagnostic check on the overall system and showed me several of the issues that he discovered. Rafael provided me with 3 options on the repair work that was needed. We reviewed each option and I chose the one that worked best for me. Very happy with how things went and how the problems/issues I had with my system were addressed and taken care of. Happy customer!

Outstanding! That is a hard statement to make when you are talking about a repair/replacement on an air conditioner. Of course your air conditioner always chooses the worst time to malfunction. This time it was at 10 PM on after a 105 degree day. I called three heating and cooling contractors and left messages. D&H Air Conditioning responded at 8 AM, and a technician out by 8:30 AM? Just a note, one contractor never called back and the other responded at 9:30 AM, after the repairs were already completed by D&H. Pretty outstanding response, especially given the time of year in Tucson. Jason, the technician arrived at 8:30 AM and met me in the front yard. I really didn't expect someone to show up with an enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable demeanor. That is what I received from Jason during the entire time he serviced the air conditioner. What an outstanding employee D&H has found. He far exceeded my expectations. Hard to have something positive to say when you are looking at a 14 year old air conditioner that is not functioning. You certainly expect the worst. Jason had the issue diagnosed within ten minutes upon his arrival. Lucky for me, it was just a bad capacitor. It certainly could have been worse. Jason continued to test each component and encouraged me to watch the entire process, explaining in detail the present condition of the component providing advice and options for replacement. In the end, the bill was $300; $225 for the capacitor and $75 for labor. Yes, there is the expected offering of package plans that include the service plan. I ended purchasing the service plan which includes two future tune ups. The end bill was $385. There was absolutely no pushy salesman approach during the entire visit, just excellent advice and customer service provided by Jason. Certainly not what I expected today. I will be replacing my 14 year old AC unit next year. D&H will be my first contact. Awesome job! Better figure a way to hold onto Jason. I think bigger things may be in store for him. Very well. Cesar was professional and personable. He identify the problems and quickly was able replace non-functioning parts. AC works great again.

Jeff Gray the technician, arrived on time and gave a very quick diagnosis. The repair was a minor repair at a very fair price. Jeff was very honest on status of refrigerant and other amperage issues.

He showed up in 15 minutes. AC was running again in about an hour. Bill was very reasonable.

Kalem was dispatched to our home to troubleshoot a problem with the thermostat. After explaining the problem we were having, within 5 minutes he had determined that the thermostat was incorrect for the HVAC system. He installed the new thermostat that is recommended by Daikin. Our system is now operating much more efficiently thanks to Kalem's knowledge and expertise.

We recently had 2 new AC units and furnaces installed by D&H. After the install was complete, I noticed an odd sound coming from one of the return vents and called them back to fix the problem. I went into the attic with the tech to investigate the problem and noticed the attic was cooler than the rest of the house. They didn’t seal the ducts or air handlers up there. I asked the tech about it and he said they were sealed internally. I put my hand along a seam and asked him, “then why do I feel cold air coming from here, and here, and here?” He said he would get some duct tape and fix the problem. I was not happy with this, after all the research I had done, everything pointed to the fact that it doesn’t matter what brand of AC you get, the install is everything. I called the service manager, Mike P. and told him I was not happy with the quality of their work and I would be surprised if they passed when the inspector came out. He told me they had already passed inspection. I don’t remember the county inspector coming out and said that. His response, “We do self-inspections” I was floored with that. Apparently, the Alliance of Construction Trades lobbied the powers that be ($$$) and now the same guy who spends 8 hours in a hot attic can sit in his truck afterwards and check boxes saying he did the job right. I told Mike I am not comfortable with that and I was going to get an independent third party to inspect their work. He got very defensive and told me, “…It doesn’t matter what they say anyway.” Well Mike, I got the Pima County building inspector to come out, and it really DOES matter what they say. 10 minutes in my attic and the inspector found 5 code violations, most of which involved the gas furnaces and improper venting which could have resulted in our bedrooms filling up with carbon monoxide this winter (and the attic was still cooler than the rest of my house because the tech only sealed the areas that you could easily see). I should also mention that I included Mike in my email correspondences with the building inspector. Mike stated that he wanted to be there when the inspector came out to reinspect after they "fixed" all the code violations. We all agreed on a date and time. The inspector was on time, we waited about 10 minutes for Mike, then the inspector began. Mike never showed up, never called or emailed that he wasn't going to be there. If you have had D&H do any installs for you, get the county inspector out to check their work. If you are thinking about using D&H, don’t. I chose them in mostly because they have been in business for almost 60 years. Now I wonder how many homes they have messed up. If you do need new AC units, insist that whatever company you choose have the county inspector come out to check their work, this self-inspection is nothing short of a conflict of interest and wrong.

Great! A/C quit working after 5pm called was told could get service out between noon and 5pm next day. 11:30 next day received call >>Cisco was on the way had cooling by 12:30!! Cisco was very professional and concerned that we had been with A/C. Nice experience

D and H exceeded my expectations. They arrived EARLY and Cisco (the tech) was professional, polite and efficient. He answered all my questions. The services and billing were well documented. I also received a senior discount. I would definitely use them again.

The AC is performing just fine, the service technician Jacob Garcia was incredibly easy to talk to and knowledgeable and he listened to my concern on a small water leak coming from the water pan inside the unit. He was able to evaluate the issue thoroughly and tried to resolve the issue by ruling out a loose PVC connection to drain pan, hoping to take care of the issue. The water pan does have a crack and will need to be replaced eventually. Jacob was a pleasure to watch work as he was very meticulous and he certainly takes pride on the work he does. He is a great asset to your organization, I sure do appreciate knowing you have such high quality employee in your organization. Best Regards Albert Mendivil

The technician was prompt, courteous, and appeared well informed. He was able to fix the problem without much expense. He also took detailed photos of the problems and explained them in detail.

Cisco came out Friday night, checked my AC unit and it was fine. He determined the problem was the thermostat, replaced it and everything was back to normal. He was nice, polite and professional, to say nothing of being very competent. I have done business with D&H for about 9 years and have always been pleased with the service. I was especially pleased that they would come out on a Friday night. It had gotten quite warm in my house.

It went great. I called two other companies first and didn't get any help for at least 5 days. When I called D&H, the receptionist didn't hesitate and had me scheduled early in the afternoon. When Rafael arrived, he was clean cut, courteous, clear with instructions and diagnostics. He had us back up and running by mid afternoon. There was no mess and I felt it was an honest business with concern for their customers.

The unit did not cooperate & make the "noise" while Jacob was here but he was wonderful helping me to help my elderly Mother. He told us what he suspected but did let us know that without hearing the noise he was offering his best diagnosis. He gave us more than one option to move forward with, and was clear with the information he gave us. Jacob was our technician and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them!) with patience. He was thorough, and took pictures of all the results of the work to point out places where the system was working well, and those areas where it wasn't. He was punctual and returned with necessary parts for an unscheduled repair very promptly.

Very well. Installed a disconnect box and cleaned the ac unit. John was very professional and helpful. Explained what could be done to keep the unit working longer and gave an estimate for each suggestion. I am very pleased with the service performed which included an annual maintenance plan.

We were very impressed with D & H's response time, both the initial contact response and with the quick scheduling for that very afternoon! A nice top-off was the technician, Anthony, arriving within the timeframe scheduled. The Anthony thoroughly explained to my husband what was happening with our AC and how it should be fixed. The work was done quickly and to our satisfaction. We requested estimates on some other items needing attention, which we received timely, and plan on hiring D & H in the future to complete these projects. It's a comfort to know we've found a quality company for our AC/heating needs-finally!

Excellent, arrived within 1hr of the call, had the necessary part on truck, fixed in less than an hour. 100 degree Temps today so appreciated the quick service. Motor needed replacing on 4 ton unit, also signed up for service contact, with 2 visits a year, and perks like priority service and discount pricing. Is usually $189, with the discounts, only $40 extra on bill.
