Description of Work: We received a proposal. It would have been nice if he had brought some door samples with him instead of just brochures. We decided to keep our cabinets, and replace the laminate counter tops with quartz through Home Depot.

Description of Work: Dalecke had a deal for $49 for a kitchen design. Jeff came out was prompt and personable. We were contemplating a complete kitchen remodel and were expecting guidance from a designer on how to optimize our kitchen for best performance. Jeff did do a very basic drawing for us and stressed it was a beginning point and then his general contractor stated we should get a draftsman to draw up what we want in a kitchen and then submit the plans. I think what I was expecting (from previous experiences) and what was delivered didn't match. I think Jeff is a cabinet maker and from what I saw he is good at that. I think if I was simply replacing cabinets I would contemplate using his services. As it was I went to a kitchen design company who are handling my whole remodel project for me.

+ 0 moreVery professional, and skilled. Gave estimate, ordered replacement cabinet, when it arrived he set and appt to come over and remove old cabinet and replace it with the new one. It was perfect! We'll have him over again when we're ready to do our counter tops.
Description of Work: Removed cabinet above stove. Replaced it with a shorter cabinet, in order to fit a microwave above the stove.

+ -1 moreWhat a professional. Set a date and time convenient to us. Arrived on time. Friendly and most helpful. After several attempts to repair the sliding door on the appliance garage cabinet by us, we called Dalcke Carpentry. Although the cabinet was not able to be repaired without pulling the entire corner away from the wall, he provided a very thoughtful check to see if it could be handled any other way. Unfortunately not, but Jeff, the owner spent time with us to suggest some ways we had not thought of to repair it ourselves. He gave us his time and thoughts with no charge. Will definitely call him if we have other cabinet needs.
Description of Work: Made an assessment call on a stuck appliance garage cabinet.

+ -1 moreDue to a cut waterline, de-watering was necessary and the toe kick at the bathroom cabinets was dislodged for the purpose of blowing air under the cabinets. Jeff Dalecke came out the day after I called him, reviewed the toe kick damage and discussed ways to fix the damage. He recommended a new toe kick to match the cabinet finish be placed over the dislodged toe kick. The new toe kick was ordered and installed, covering the dislodged toe kick. The fix looks better than the original since the new toe kick was finished plywood, and not a laminated thin section. Even though this was a very small job, Jeff was willing to assess the problem and fix it!

+ 0 moreJeff helped us order the correct size and types of cabinets. He also helped us in selecting countertop type and color. The instillation of both went perfect. Jeff has to cut and polish the countertops himself in his shop. The cabinets and countertops fit perfectly. He made the kitchen remodel project a joy. Jeff is very good about taking calls. If you get his recording, you get a call back almost always that same day. He was punctual. He also helped us with other suggestions outside the scope of his job.
Description of Work: Jeff installed Brookwood cabinets and Wilsonart solid surface countertops with integrated seamless sink.

He came out for the original site visit, provided us with CAD drawings of what we wanted to do in our kitchen and master bath, and then modified the plans based on our input. Jeff got the work done very quickly and in a very high quality fashion. The service and products were excellent, and Jeff was a pleasure to work with. Will definitely use him again and would recommend him to others.

Jeff's attention to detail is second to none! Plan to call him when I talk my wife into installing cabinets in the laundry room. Jeff's price was well under the competition in the area by several hundred dollars. If you want a new kitchen look no further than Jeff Dalecke!
