 + 1 moreCalled him and set the appointment. I took the drawer to his house, where he does his smaller jobs. He told me it would be ready in a couple of days and it was right on time.
Description of Work: I needed a drawer repaired for my kitchen. He not only repaired it but practically rebuilt it. It fit perfectly in the spot it needed to fit and actually is a better quality than the other drawers I have in my kitchen now.

Description of Work: I use D T Design And Repair for handyman services. The last time I used him to install a kitchen sink. He even cleaned and sealed my gutters. He repaired something and put a light fixture in my garage ceiling. He put a plumbing fixture in my bath shower. He fixed the outdoor faucet.

 + 0 moreI called 5 different carpentry businesses I found on Angie's List and DT Design and Repair was the first to respond (one of the two who did respond). I explained the situation with my drawer and David was willing to look at it. I took it to his house (yes, he does do jobs in other locations,not just at his home) and he explained what he could do to repair the drawer. He said he possibly could be done by the next day and the next morning I got a call that the drawer would be done later in the day. I picked up the drawer and he made me a much stronger drawer that is better than the original. He made 3 new sides for the drawer and used the appropriate screws and glue to reinforce all parts. I took it home, placed it in it's spot and it fit like a glove. David told me not to use the drawer until I give the glue 24 hours to dry. If it holds up after I give the glue time to set, which I don't see any problem with that happening, I will be very happy with the result.
Description of Work: I needed an old kitchen drawer repaired. It had fallen apart and was looking for someone who would be willing to take on a smaller job such as this. David repaired the drawer by replacing broken pieces and re-constructing the drawer as needed.
