Description of Work: Monir looked at my computer, which refused to act up when I brought it to him, and made helpful suggestions. Said to bring it back if the trouble started again, which I did, again very helpful, but again the computer refused to act up. He gave of his time and encouraged me to return if he could be of help. Very courteous, straightforward and honest. A good man.

 + 0 moreMonir Gharbiah came to my office (a tiny nonprofit) to install a router and get our internet service operating after we changed from Century Link to Cox (THAT'S a whole other story!) He was prompt, courteous and insisted that the COX installer do a good and proper job and not just the quickie, inadequate job the Cox vendor wanted to do. Munir clearly explained the additional equipment that we needed and got us a good price on it. He has helped us through a couple of hiccups getting the new service operating properly at no additional charge. (The $400 figure included a new router, power strip and additional cabling.) I have no hesitation recommending Munir for any computer issues including networking office systems, home and small business systems.
Description of Work: We needed to get a router installed and get our internet functioning after changing from Century Link to Cox.

 + -1 moreI had purchased 4 GB of memory to upgrade my desktop from local area store. After finding instructions online and opening the computer I found that the memory area wasn't easily accessible and I didn't trust my skills to try to remove components to get to the memory. I reviewed several computer services providers on Angie's list. Computer Experts reviews were great and they were near my home. Monir was a real gentleman over the phone when I made the inquiry. He was able to provide rapid turnaround; I dropped off the computer late morning and he had it ready for me in the early evening. His rate was extremely reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. In fact, I have recommend him to several people already. Monir was generous with advice on cleaning the computer and also provided a lot of advice in response to my inquiry about upgrading my home wireless network.. He has a wealth of information and is willing to share it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would recommend using him for any computer service.

Description of Work: After researching computer repair places, I chose Computer Experts because it had consistently high reviews and positive feedback. I made the right choice. Don't be fooled by the fact that this repair shop is in the owner's home. From my very first phone call, the gentleman, Monir, was extremely helpful and cordial and at no time did I feel any pressure to bring my computer in right away. (I believe he also makes house/office calls.) When I brought my laptop in to Monir, I immediately felt very comfortable with him and he used language I could understand and was patient which is important for a non-techie like me. In fact, I spent around three hours talking to him about many things besides computer issues. It was like being in a friend's house and the friend is a computer expert. He answered all my questions and explained things about how to make my computer work better and how to resolve the problems I was having. I can't explain in technical terms what he did, but it did the job. Even though I took up much of his time just talking, he only charged me the minimum one hour fee for the computer work. He even called me two days later to follow-up on how things were working and he even inquired about my sick cat which I had told him about! If you live anywhere in the Tucson area, this is the place to go with your computer issues. At each step of the repair he gave me options and was always clear about the cost of the repair. I'm glad I found him and will use them for future repairs.
Description of Work: MONIR GHARBIAH was willing to examine my computer when it broke on July 4th which was a relief as I use the machine for my work and it was essential that the machine be fixed quickly. After examining the computer he told me options for repair.Monir was able to fix the computer (bad keyboard) in minimal time and cost. He even suggested a website and called the supplier where I could find a replacement keyboard at a good price. Monir takes pride in his work and wants to make sure his customers are satisfied with his work.

 + -1 moreI called the owner, Monir Gharbiah, before I went to the shop. The computer was locked up and would not boot. Monir determined that it was either a bad hard drive sector or bad hard drive. The computer was older and he recommended not spending the money to repair it, rather to look for something newer. He gave me the physical hard drive to destroy myself. We then spent the next hour where I asked him questions about the different aspects of networking and back up software/hardware. He patiently answered all my questions. When I tried to pay him for the time he told me, "....I would rather you come back when I can physically repair a computer problem for you, no payment is necessary !" We do not want to take advantage of this business owner, but it is refreshing to know there are computer repair people out there who have our best interests at heart and show it with their actions. I highly recommend this business.

Description of Work: As the Office Manager for Trusted Heating and Cooling I found Monir from Computer Experts on Angie's List and explained that my FAX machine would not FAX in or out and that I had already had two other computer services and a Quest service tech come to my home office to check it out. He was friendly, listened to my situation and offered over the phone advice that kept me from spending unnecessary money. He allowed me to attempt to FAX him something so that we could read my error report. He told me the line was ringing through so it wasn't the phone line that wasn't working. I appreciated his willingness to process the problem with me without rushing to make an unnecessary service call.

 + -1 moreI bought a new computer instead of replacing the motherboard, though I may do that later. I think the price was reasonable for two trips and some time on the bench. He was patient, thorough in explaining and seemed very knowledgeable.
Description of Work: I spilled a drink on my laptop computer and it died in front of my eyes. (I know. Stupid move.) It was Friday afternoon, and on Saturday I called this company and a man agreed to come over on Sunday. He took the computer, explained exactly what he would do, and said he'd get back to me. He reported that the motherboard was shot and investigated the price to replace. He asked what things on the hard drive I had to retrieve, and captured all of those and more. He brought the computer and disk with the backups to my house.

 + -1 moreComputer Troubleshooters are just great. They drive out of the way to get to me. They get here fast and they do it all when it comes to computers. They hire great people. Now for the first hour you are charged fifty five bucks. Then, the hourly rate goes down after that. They are an A plus company in my book and I really love them.
Description of Work: Computer Troubleshooters reconfigured my old computer. The hard drive had fried itself. They spent several hours reviewing what had happened. They wound up telling me to get a new computer and they hooked it all up for me and downloaded all of my programs.
