Description of Work: I purchased all of my kitchen appliances at Christies approximately 1 year ago. The ice maker dispenser on the fridge stopped working. The service person came out on time, did the work quickly, and didn't charge me for the service, even though I was a few weeks beyond the warrantee

Description of Work: We have often purchased from Christy's and when we needed a new dishwasher, that's where we headed. A new, but returned, model was available, and Christy's offered full warranty, plus substantial discount. The dishwasher did have a problem we discovered after it was installed; the door would not close. A serviceman was immediately sent out, but the part needed to fix it was going to take a week or more to come in. Christy's immediately offered full purchase price credit and delivery of another machine, no "checking with management", plus additional discount. We were very pleased with their top notch customer service.

Description of Work: I have purchased several appliances from Christies in the past. They have always been pretty timely. |This time however, we were looking for an old part. Granted it isn't always easy to find a part for an old appliance but they never called to let me know of any progress they were making - or not making. This has gone on since April 13, 2014. |I had to do the checking in even when I was assured they would "call me right back". |I was very disappointed this time.; Am not certain that I will use them again even though I have been quite satisfied in the past.

Description of Work: Bought a microwave -- had their guy remove old one, install new one. Had non-functioning ice-maker in refrigerator checked -- repairman found problem, replaced small part, got it working again ... almost -- made cubes but dispenser gave only crushed ice, no cubes. When repairman came back to replace broken control panel on stove (broiler didn't heat), he also fixed dispenser on icemaker. Both installer and repairman called when they were supposed to, came promptly within the time window they gave me, worked efficiently, and left the work area clean. Both explained the needed work/problems clearly and were also very pleasant to deal with.

Description of Work: I was searching for a replacement clothes washer. Sales folks were very easy to deal with, no pressure, but offered good advice. I ended up purchasing a washer and extended warranty.

 + -1 moreCHRISTIE'S DID AN EXCELLENT JOB REPAIRING MY DISHWASHER. THEY REPLACED THE BURNT OUT MOTOR. IT WAS CERTAINLY CHEAPER THAN REPLACING THE WHOLE DISHWASHER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
