Century 22 Pest Control

I have had this company provide our pest control service for 25 years and this morning that relationship ended abruptly. My monthly service for all those years was done by Greg who was AMAZING!!! There has been turnarounds since Greg retired and it has been a hassle. Bob called and left me a message in February that my service would be pushed because his worker had fallen off his roof. I called back and said to please not worry about it and just start again next month. I received an invoice for the month of March and paid. A couple of weeks ago I received a Statement for April, May and June. No invoices were ever left. I called three times to discuss. I have a camera in my backyard and I am off on Fridays (when service is performed), the second call was on Friday, July 9 and no one had come to service. Bob claimed this morning that someone was there. I disputed not only because my camera did not catch anyone but because I was home all day AND called that day to let them know no one had been there. He said he would be willing to zero out July's invoice and 're-do' the service. I thanked him for that and he took it a step further and said I still owed for the past three months (that I didn't receive an invoice for) because he wasn't going to argue a camera. I disagreed with him because it wasn't just about the camera, it was about no invoice AND the fact that I am home on Fridays. He said then we will need to go our separate ways. I said I was sorry he felt that way but I shouldn't have to pay for a service that he can't prove was provided. I have ALWAYS received invoices when someone has come to service. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and said maybe your new team member was servicing the wrong address and the reason I received the Statement was because they believed the service had been done. Nope! Bob was content with his decision to discontinue a relationship of 25 years over what could have been an error on their part. I am now looking for a new pest control service who don't treat their long standing customers with such disregard.

For over 20 years Greg came out the second Tuesday of every month around the same time and he was Wonderful. At the beginning of the year I waited and he never showed up and when I called the company I was told he retired. I was also told the new person was Eric and they would have him call me. When he called he said that everyone was ahead of me and he would be here as soon as he could. I told him that I used that company for over 20 years and Greg always came around 9:30 am why am I last now. I said I have a dog that will bite him and I need to know around when he will be here. He said he will be here as soon as possible and finally got here at 2:30. Eric was a real Jerk on the phone and after. I called and talked to the manager and told him I wanted a new person then was told he was new to give him a chance. I asked for the owner who I always talked to before and he said he doesn't work at the office anymore. The manager said he put information on Eric's calendar about my home for the next time. The next month Eric only sprayed the front yard because he couldn't get in the back. I called and I told them he still needs to spray the back. They gave him the information but never came back. I had the same problems with Eric so I called the manager again. He said he put the information on the wrong thing and Eric never got the information. I told him everything all over again from the beginning and he said at the end something like I could have made that shorter. He was a Total A**Hole! I told him I was going to use another company and also told him I would put this on Angie's List. He told me to do what I need to do while being a Total Jerk. I also called back and told the secretary I would only pay half the amount owed because Eric never sprayed the back.

Greg comes the second Tuesday every month at pretty much the same time. He starts on the front side of the house and sprays only the base of the house. When he gets to the front porch he sprays the entire porch and does the same with the back porch. He only sprays the base of my house all around it because that is what I told him to do. This was the animals and bugs home first and I only want as little as possible harmed. When finished he slips the bill in the crack at the side of the front door.

Century 22 is very professional. They respond to calls quickly, do a good job, and come right back to correct it if weeds pop up after treatment. They seem expensive, but they come every six months and when you compare them to companies that come once a month, the cost is comparable. We will keep using this company.

They're very nice people. I got a referral from someone and checked them on Angie's List and gave them a try. Greg is very talkative and polite; he'll answer any questions you have. They're very knowledgeable about their business.

We used them before from 2000-2005. We found them quite competent. They are fairly reasonable. We moved away and moved back here and hired them again.

They were recommended to me. They come once a month and spray for bugs. They are very prompt, very courteous and always ask if there is a problem. I am pleased with their service.

We are very satisfied with them. We have been using them now for a year and they have been very good. They are prompt, reliable, easy to deal with on payment, and it's just a very good service. We have seen no evidence of bugs or scorpions so they are doing their job. Their price is very competitive.

Overall, my experience with them has been good. There were times where we had some miscommunications about when they were going to show up. They generally spray 10 months a year. They take a break for 2 months in a year in the winter season because of the weather. Their quality of work is okay; you can’t say they keep every pest out our yard or house but it is as good as you can expect in this environment.

They always show up on time and do a good job. Very responsive.

I think the price for the service is excellent as well. The two things that I like most about Century 22 Pest Control are that they are reliable and dependable. I would recommend them to other members.

They come and spray around the house once a month. I don't have anything to compare the cost with since I didn't get other quotes, but we haven't had any pest problems. They seem to be doing a fine job.

THE MAN THAT STARTED THE COMPANY STARTED IT BY HIMSELF AND BUILT A GOOD REPUTATION. THEY DON'T OVER CHARGE, THEY ARE DEPENDABLE AND EFFICIENT. I HAVE HIRED THEM. I NO LONGER HAVE ANY SPIDERS.
