UNTRUSTWORTHY, POOR QUALITY, TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. 0 stars. Castle roofing installed our flat roof in 2017, and the previous owners paid to reseal is in 2022 (per Standard recs). Since moving in a year ago we have found leaks and black mold in MULTIPLE PLACES, and have had 3 different roofers come out and say the roof was failing. Castle roofing came back out and blamed the previous owners for not paying their bills (untrue - we have paid receipts). They did reseal the roof for us (the sealing is supposed to last 5 years not only 2), however refused to pay for mold remediation (we have two babies, one with asthma), and are not extending our warranty (which means we inevitably have to pay them to reseal the roof again in 2-3 years). Since all of this, communication has been terrible, taking days to call back and WEEKS to respond to emails. Will be reporting to the BBB.

The protection went quickly and the work was done very well. We did get a rain before everything was waterproof and had damage to some interior drywall which they had repaired at their cost. They had to come out a second time for a leak due to a scupper not done quite right, but were prompt about fixing it and have had no issues since. Overall a great experience. Also nice because no money was due until the job was 100% complete.

It went very well. They are nice people and I will definitely use them again.

This family-owned company are top-notch professionals who operate with complete integrity. I trust these guys to do the right thing. I did my due diligence by getting four proposals back in 2011. Caste Roofing came out on top even though their price was highest, because the adage and quot;you get what you pay forand quot; applies to this type of work, and I was able to see through the bravado and low-ball bids of some of the other companies. From my direct interactions with owner John, it was obvious to me that Castle are interested in truly providing a service and creating a long-term relationship --exactly what I wanted for a major job like this (after all, the roof is a really important part of a house!). In the course of preparing the proposal, John made a careful assessment and communicated well regarding the options for the job. His son Jordan carefully oversaw the execution. John has come back several times at my request --for example to assess whether or not to repair damage caused by the claws of a trio of bobcats that wrestled on the roof for over an hour one night last summer. In my experience, Caste Roofing keep up with the materials used in their industry, invest in the right equipment, treat their workers right, and have the technical expertise to get the job done well.

Found we had a leak during a two day storm in November. Called Castle and Jordan came out the next day and identified the cause. I thought the estimate was fair for the work required. The crew that repaired the roof came on time on the scheduled day and did a very good job. Work is guaranteed for 2 years. I can recommend Castle Roofing.

They're too expensive, they are way out of line. Everybody that I called are in the mid $4500 to $5000, he came up with $7500.

They are awesome, put the tiles back up for me for free as a thank u for my husbands military service. Amazing, prompt, will definitely use them again!

It is a flat roof with a slight slope. The workers did an excellent job. I was very satisfied with their work.

After reviewing Angie's List for potential professionals, I emailed Castle early June. Jordan was responsive, offered advice on dealing with the solar issue, and produced an estimate via e-mail that same night. We wanted to complete any repairs before leaving for a summer vacation and before the summer rains. He remembered this and called back as we were deciding which company to go with, saying they could fit us in. We accepted two other bids but decided on Castle because: responsive, positive and professional attitude, reviews on Angie's List, plus his promise to complete the work before our vacation. They were great to work with in person, via e-mail, and texting. These are on-time, professionals that we felt confident with on our property. Jordan and Josh were great explaining the products they were using and their technique. This company also resealed my husband's practice in Green Valley and we found them to be super a second time around.They are not the cheapest but we didn't want to gamble with a cheap roof repair and resealing. We did not want people from Dandy Dime, workers hired for the day, to complete this job. Our confidence in Castle Roofing led us to write this review.

Just received an estimate; no work has been performed. I am in the process of obtaining additional estimates. John came out and provided an estimate same day. Very pleasant, not pushy at all. Gave estimates for both repairing (trying to make the roof last a couple more years) and for replacing the entire roof. Again, very nice and pleasant, not at all pushy. Will see how estimates compare.

They are excellent. We had them at least three times to totally put in a new roof and then to re-coat it. They are very responsible, pleasant to deal with and on time.

It was great - there were very responsive and professional - arriving on time, taking pictures of the damaged roof and then taking pictures of repaired roof.

Extreme communication issues. After visit by Estimator (Tim), he did not give me a repair estimate via email as promised, and he did not respond to two Emails. Eventually via Rosie on the House mediator, I was told that I should have understood Tim’s “hint” that he did not want to repair job in that Tim had recommended another Roofer that would be cheaper than Castle, even though my second Email was to request a total re-roof, not a repair. Then I was told that Castle did not see my Emails in that they were sent to their to the SPAM bin. Forget these guys. This is not a unique issue – see other Angie’s List reviews.

Estimator (Tim) arrived on agreed date and time. After reviewing other roofing offers, decided to go with Castle because they offered a unique and affordable corrugated metal roofing that we had seen at a new subdivision. Called and was told that contract would be e-mailed that afternoon, followed by a call that Wednesday to set up date for project. Experienced a brief breakdown in communication as there was no e-mail of contract, no call to set up project date or answer to our call. It was not until over 1 week later that Tim called to notify us that our project was scheduled to be done the next day. He realized then that the e-mail of the contract was not sent to us. After some phone exchanges with Tim regarding details for the project, decided to proceed the next day. Keith, Lino and Jim arrived and worked as a wonderful team. They professionally installed the corrugated metal roofing and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was completed. They were courteous and respectful of our concerns about adding additonal wood decking and avoiding the nails from protruding through the ceiling of the garage porch. We are very pleased with how Castle Roofing took care of our unique roofing needs. Highly recommend them, especially if you are looking for something different and affordable such as a corrugated metal roof!

They promptly issued me an estimate and then disappeared. They do not answer the telephone, reply to e-mail, or acknowledge faxes. They called me once and said they would be out to perform the repairs sometime within the next week. They never showed up. They called me, apologized, and said they had decided to all go on a hunting trip. That was three weeks ago and they have disappeared again. Only voicemail with an uninformative outgoing message. No replies. No response to e-mails.

THE THING I LIKE MOST ABOUT THIS COMPANY WAS SPEED AT WHICH THEY WORKED. I ALSO THOUGHT THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS OUTSTANDING. THIS COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL THE WHOLE TIME THEY WORKED WITH US.
