+ -1 moreHe comes every month, is there when he says he is going to be there, and he does an outstanding job! When we initially met, we talked about what I had been paying the previous person who was doing the job, and Micah offered to do it for less. He is meticulous and my yard always looks perfect! He has put down weed killer just as part of his routine work. He does not believe in doing the bare minimum and has high standards for what he considers "regular maintenance." He has never once canceled or postponed his scheduled service because a more lucrative job came along, unlike the last person who was supposed to maintain my yard on a regular basis. He is very personable and friendly, gets along well with my dog and does not mind if my dog has to be out in the yard while he is working. MIcah is a Godsend!!
Description of Work: I needed someone to come and do monthly maintenance of my yard, and MIcah responded promptly to my call.

+ -1 moreOwner initially came to see house to see what needed to be done. Told us he would take care of our garden and to call him in 10 days when we would return from a trip. We called immediately...and no less than five times over three days, but there was no call back. Finally, several days later we received an email saying he was unable to service us because he was too busy. Bad business.

+ -1 moreEverything went great. I don't know what we would do without Micah. He is the only yard maintenance person who took the time to inspect our drippers correctly. Also, his prices are competitive. If you are looking for a professional, energetic, dedicated yard person, Micah is for you. He does all the work himself. He has a truck and all the equipment he needs. I can't recommend him highly enough. We've lived in Tucson since 1999, and Micah is the best yard maintenance person we have found yet. Looking forward to many more years of his work on our yard.
Description of Work: Micah has been maintaining our grounds ever since my last evaluation. He is wonderful. It's just Micah. He is punctual, works hard the entire time, does very professional work. Right now I am super appreciative of his help with our irrigation system. First, Micah installed drippers for 6 established birds of paradise along an eastern house wall. Then he discovered that station 1 in our Irritrol controller was not working. We had two other companies that advertised as irrigation specialists come out. The first just basically walked around and told us everything was fine. Charged us $100. The second spent more time, but told us we needed to install entirely new main irrigation lines throughout the property. Micah was skeptical of this, so my husband, who is an electrical engineer, spent many days analyzing the stations of the controller and the valves. Sure enough, station 1 was not working. So we moved station 1 to station 5. He also discovered that the valve strainers needed to be cleaned. So we knew our controller, valves, and main lines were working fine. Micah came out today and crawled underneath our oleanders. He found all the drippers and fixed those that needed fixing. We have a large yard, so this took several hours. By advising us against installing all new main lines, Micah saved us about $1500.

+ -1 moreMicah arrived at 8:00 a.m., which was actually a little earlier than he had said. But we had told him that he was welcome to work in the yard anytime. Now at 2:15 p.m. He is still working in the yard, even as I write this. We had an unusual morning downpour here. Although we invited him inside, Micah sat in his truck and waited it out. Then he went back out into the yard. He started on the north side of our house. I have been ill for 7 years, and my husband has been caring for me and taking care of what he could. The leaves in our north garden have not been raked in 5 years. They were very deep and heavy with moisture. Also, there are a lot of plants and an irrigation system to work around. Micah has the north yard looking great. He has raked by hand all this time, carrying the debri in a big plastic trash can out to the truck himself. Which is exactly what we are looking for. Someone to carefully and knowledgeably care for our yard, with respect to the plants and animals, to do what we would do, if we were able. We have arranged for Micah to come out on a regular basis. Lots and lots more workk to be done around here. If you are looking for one person to work in your yard, with a big dump bin, this is your person. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Micah tells me he is insured.
Description of Work: Micah raked 5 years of palo verde and oleander leaves from our yard. He also removed dead branches we had cut down and any dead cacti in the area he was raking. He works by himself and does not use things like a blower unless you ask for this. He brought his 14x7 foot hydraulic dump bin attached to his truck today. He told me he also has a 10x6 foot bin for smaller spaces.
