 + -1 moreDishonest company... I had a section of my house not getting power. This dishonest company charged me for 3 hours...over $300.00. They told my 90 year old dad and me, a teacher, it was a wire in my ceiling fan that was loose and that is why we lost power to that side of the house. HE SAW MY DAD WITH THE SPACE HEATER. Because we had power I thought he was truthful. In less then 5 days had the same outage happened again I called another electrician said my fused tripped because I had too much power making the circuit trip. He fixed the problem in 5 minutes. I talked to the owner of Cascade and they refused to make it right...DISHONEST

Description of Work: I requested a bid for outside electrical work at a resort home. It took more than a month to receive one. The office ignored my request when I repeatedly asked for a further price breakdown. The owner also refused to return phone calls. I found the experience one of the worst with a company. I'd strongly suggest forever avoiding Cascade Electric for any work.

 + -1 moreArrived at the promised time, was very personable and wasted no time getting to work. Cleaned up good after all work was done. I ended up paying $15 less than the quote I had gotten for just installing one floodlight so they definately do not look to rip people off. I would use and recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: Installed new electric box with double switches, wired and installed 2 floodlights on the outside of my home.Fixed 3 kitchen outlets that were loose after a tile company had installed a tile backsplash. Not sure what he did to make it work but managed to get them tight up against the tile. Checked several other outlets that I had concerns about that were sparking when used and made sure the wiring was tight and right.

Description of Work: I got duped into signing up for a 3 year contract for my home's alarm system monitoring by EARS (Emergency Audio Response Systems). The only reason I did this was because at the home show in Tucson EARS advertised a 40% discount on all low voltage electrical work for all alarm system monitoring customers. I was actually looking for a company to run all my home theater speaker cables through my ceiling and walls. Apparently EARS works in conjuction with Cascade Electric to do the electrical work. I contacted Cascade Electric a few days after the home show and they sent a representative named Rich to my house. he gave me a approximate price then I never heard from him again. I called 2 months later and same thing after Rich made some suggestions he was going to see if he had a contact to buy more speakers but again I did not hear from him again. Finally over a year later I called wanting to finally get a quote and was told that Rich no longer does residential work and was referred to Martin who quoted me a price that I thought was pretty high. I called another electrician for a quote and his quote was less than half of what Martin quoted me that supposedly included my discount. I felt really ripped off since I have been paying EARS to get a discount that apparently does not exist. I faxed a request to EARS telling them I no longer wanted them to monitor my alarm system. A few days later I recieved a letter from EARS stating that I signed up for 3 years and if i wanted to cancewl I would still have to pay them the remaining $360.00 or thay would send my account to a collection agency. HOPEFULLY whoever reads this will not get duped by EARS or Cascade Electric.

 + -1 moreHad been recommended by Band J Refrigeration. Came day after I called asking for someone to repair conduit. Arrived, announced that he was going to fix conduit, had me sign a sheet stating he was going to do that and went immediately onto roof. I had wanted to discuss the old switch wiring because Band J was not sure if it was still live, but he gave me no opening to do so. I should have been more forceful, but before I could gather my thoughts he had disappeared up the ladder. He returned, announcing that he had rewired it as it had been and had fastened the boxes to the roof. Then went to truck where he stayed for almost 10 minutes and returned with the bill. Band J reported the next day, when they completed the cooler work, that the work had been well done, so although I could not go on the roof to see the work, I believe that the technician did a professional and competent job.
Description of Work: Rewired conduit to cooler and attached electrical boxes on roof (which had not been properly reattached by roofer)

 + -1 moreThey sent their electrician named Mike. He was great. I needed an upgrade on my electric to install central a/c. Even though this is a very old house, Mike and his partner knew what to do. I was so pleased with the initial work (cost $2200) that I asked him to come back 2 add'l times to do my wish list. He was very helpful with deciding what would work and what wouldn't work.
Description of Work: Upgraded old electric to 200 amp, obtained all required permits and inspections, rewired & installed lighting in the kitchen and bathroom. Installed new switch with outlet in hall, replaced 2 outlets in bedroom and a light fixture in closet.

 + -1 moreI called the company last week with the request. The person doing the work responded by the end of the day, that I had called, as to when he would come to do the work. On the day that work was scheduled he kept me updated as to when he was going to arrive. He also called me when he was on his way to my house. I have used this company before and have talked to the Service Foreman, receptionists, and the contractor coming to do the work, and they are all very professional, and customer service oriented.
Description of Work: Had to outside outlets put in. One in our carport, and one in our screened room. Had to have the kind of outlets that are covered.
