Very happy that I called Carter's Services to trim a pine tree in my backyard that my HOA was on me about. After leaving him a message he called me right back, met me in a matter of minutes to a**** the tree, and gave me a very fair quote. He was on time, professional and friendly. Will definitely be calling him in the future. Highly recommended.

They did a terrific job with our yard. among other plusses, they are great at listening to details from customer about what the customer wants done (and not done) & then following through. also, we needed work done on a fairly tight time-line, and Carter had his crew work a half day on a Saturday to squeeze us into their schedule.

Great! We've hired Carter before and will definitely do so again. Prior jobs were general yardwork and cleanup. This one, on a different property, involved removing a very large mesquite tree that had been blown over by a recent storm and twister, and filling in and smoothing over the big hole the tree had left. As usual, Carter and his crew did a superb job. They are completely professional, attentive to details, careful listeners--a pleasure to work with!

Carter's crew did a serious clean up in our enclosed back yard and pool area (we had hired them to do our front yard a few months before that). This time again they did a superb job: Carter works carefully with clients, really listening to what they want done and having his crew follow up by delivering on those specific instructions. The whole operation is prompt, professional, reliable, and definitely competitively priced. I am definitely sticking with them for all my yard work and related jobs!

Carter's bid was several hundred dollars less than a competitor. They arrived on time and cleaned up the site. They only charged $30 for removing the stump. I highly recommend their service.

Carter & his crew of 3 arrived promptly at 6 am with saws & ladders (one of them 16' tall). He frequently consulted with me to approve major cuts, including freeing up a massive stand of organ pipe cactus that had grown into the canopy. Removing the overgrowth was a delicate operation which they did with surgical precision. Each cut branch was supported to the ground by crewmen with pitchforks, so that none of the yard plants were damaged. All debris was swiftly removed from the yard & adjacent driveway & parking strip. A final raking left the yard clean. These guys are incredible professionals! My massive tree can breathe again!

Carter’s Service was quick to reply which is exactly what I needed. Because I live out of state, I really appreciate the before and after photos. Although the cost was higher than I expected, the quality of work, expedient reply, and level of customer service made up for it.

Carters is exceptional, so excellent I do not know where to start! They arrived at the agreed time, completed all agreed-upon work and more, all the staff was professionally dressed and polite, and price was extremely fair. Carter himself was on the job site and worked next to his staff. Exceptional attention to detail. I cannot express how impressed my husband and I are with Carters knowledge, professionalism, and outstanding work he provided to our yard/home. We will continue working with Carters for a very long time!

I have used this business for several years for spring weed removal and trimming. They do a good job. Carter has a crew of 4 guys who all work and the job is finished in about 1.5 hours. This year he had two men and he said that I was his only job that day. He talked about charging me $25/hour last year, and was going up to $27/hour, but this day he would charge $25/hour, and the fee would go up the next time. He wanted to give those two a full day and said it would cost $400. I am retired, on a fixed income and can not afford that much at one time. I agreed to half a day. He had always charged me a flat rate of $125 in the past and there was no discussion of an hourly rate. I asked him about the $200 price at the end of the work, indicating that the price for me had gone up $75. He was charging me $50 per hour for 4 hours, not $25! Or you could say he was charging me for a 4 man crew instead of a 2 man crew. He refused to discuss this and stormed off. He said that money was always a problem with me. I admit that I did say that I felt like he was gouging, which made him angry. I am disappointed that we couldn't discuss this rationally. He was definitely contradictory when talking about his charges and I did not think fast enough to point this out at the beginning. I had the $200 check ready for him at the end of the job. I wanted him to do the front yard and finish the job in a few week when I get my social security check. I had felt he was reliable. I would hire his crew (who are very nice and hardworking} again, if Carter was willing to communicate about fees clearly and appropriately.

Excellent! Everything about Carter's service is excellent. He scheduled an appointment to come out and ballpark the job, was very careful to find out from us just what we wanted done (including how much we wanted particular trees trimmed), and was very pleasant and easy to work with. He came with his crew to do the actual work as scheduled and they did a terrific job--complete, thorough, and right on target with what we had discussed. Cost was quite reasonable (even though Carter is top rated, his bid was significantly lower than the other bid we received). Will definitely use Carter for future yard work!

Carter came out to provide a quote the same day I called. I am an absentee landlord, and my tenants let things get quite out-of-hand before calling me. Carter accompanied his quote with pictures and recommendations from around the property. We worked out a satisfactory method for quick payment, and he was able to get me on the schedule within a few days. He provided before and after pictures taken from the same vantage point, illustrating the vast difference his crew had made in my property’s appearance. It genuinely looks as good as I’ve ever seen it. His communication and responsiveness have been impeccable. Highly recommended.

Mr. Carter came out the same day I contacted him through Angie's List, gave me a good estimate, came out with crew of two more men the next morning. They were quick and thorough and provided great service. Lots of yard, tree and weed debris were piled at curb just in time for semi-annual Brush and Bulky pickup. Very pleased with their service!

Carter and his crew showed up on time both days they worked in the yard. The yard had been neglected for a few years and was in really bad shape. Carter and his crew pulled out two dead trees, trimmed all the other trees, cutting out dead limbs, put in gravel, planted a couple of plants, got rid of several desert blooms and did general yard clean up. They hauled away everything and when they were finished, they did a great job of clean up. We couldn't be happier with the work Carter's did and the bill for their services was less than the estimate. Additionally Carter and all of his crew were really great guys, very easy going. I will continue to use them.

Carter and his crew arrived right on time and set to work immediately. I wanted two saguaros removed since they were a potential danger to the house if they fell. We agreed on a price and Carter also offered to include two dead barrel cactuses at no extra charge. It took only about seventy five minutes to complete the entire job including a thorough cleanup. I couldn't be happier with the the result and recommend Carter's Services without hesitation.

Carter and his workers cleaned up a large pile of yard waste. They broke down large branches for one trip to the disposal yard. They also swept and cleaned up small branches and leaves not only where the pile was but also around the site. .Carter's prices were similar to other yard and garden maintenance companies. Carter and his workers were well-prepared and businesslike. I will definitely consider them for another job.

I selected Carter based on his high ratings on Angie's List. I am extremely glad I did. He is very straight forward in explaining his pricing & very attentive to the work you want performed. His suggestions as you walk the property with him are excellent. His crew members are experienced & knowledgable & aim to please. I have lived in this house for decades. Over the years I have hired many different landscapers and can say without qualification that Carter & his crew are the best landscapers I have ever hired! They are simply outstanding & they are now my go to landscapers when the need arises in the future as it surely will..

Very happy with Carter's! Highly recommend. He and his crew are very professional and hard-working. We have a large (over 1 acre) desert lot and the guys got an impressive amount done in one day for a very fair price. We will be hiring them again in a couple of weeks to finish up.
