Another great treatment by Efrain Ventura. He listened to my concerns and showed me the places that were the root of my bug problem. I feel confident that those little pests are on their way out! He is polite and very knowledgeable!

I've been using them for a few years now. They seem to be doing a good job. I've been using them for a couple of years. I couldn't tell you how I chose them, to be honest with you. I found them, they come over, and they do a good job. It's out of sight, out of mind.

Purchased the $149 Angies List deal for 'scorpion truck' elimination. When they called for scheduling there was a hard sell for signing up for an ongoing pest control contract, which was not related to the deal - which was very frustrating. I had issues getting the visit scheduled - due to lack of responsiveness from the phone desk team. When I called again for scheduling they mentioned they have already completed the visit and the deal has been fulfilled. We were not at home when they came in and hence obviously they didnt spray/treat inside of the home. We have zero results from the elimination and will never get the one time deal again. I'd have rated them lower - but they have done a good job for us couple of years back.

Very professional service techs. They treat for ALL the creepy crawlies and wasps/hornets! They even remove any mud nests and wipe down the spider webs! We now have their service, on a monthly basis. $66 for a 1 acre lot, 3500 sq ft home/casita.

Fine. Whilst abroad on a business trip I received a scheduling call from Bulwark; when I asked to please call me after I return to the US I was told no problem...much to my surprise the technician showed up at my home while I was gone and provided the service. To be clear I explicitly asked to schedule when I returned...not to have the service completed in my absence. Because of this, I will not use the service again.

Bulwark's monthly treatment for scorpion control is totally ineffective. They asked me to have service for an year to control scorpions on property but at the end of year, there is not difference. I still see as many as 10 scorpions a day on property. They came out 2-3 times a month and still there was no relief. They just spray the some chemical and go, I have seen scorpions stilling on the sprayed surface and being very active. We got 3-4 scorpions inside home within a week of treatment and many of them outside. Means no effect. Their nocturnal treatment with scorpion truck is somewhat effective where they treat the whole property. Other than that monthly treatment is useless. Their representatives have ample stories to tell to justify ineffectiveness of their treatment. I have not seen any effort to point out any other remedy like finding their home, treating it or suggesting to fill gaps in the walls etc. They possibly want continuous business and don't want to eliminate scorpions.

They were courteous and it went fine. They were very helpful.

I had a one-year agreement with Bulwark for pest control service. Once this was concluded I asked that I not be automatically scheduled and that I would call when I wanted service. Their practice of texting a one-day notice that they were coming (at their convenience, not mine) was always annoying. It took several phone calls to get this across – I kept getting text appointments and phone calls asking when they could schedule. After several phone calls I thought I had finally made this clear. Then one morning when I was at work I received a call that the tech was on my property and trying to get into my back yard. I had no idea they had scheduled a visit. I immediately called their office to tell them to get the tech off my property and that I have a large dog in the back yard. This could have had a very bad ending. I told the office to remove me from their data base – I’m done with this company. It seems that they are more interested in filling their calendar than listening to a customer and respecting their request.

Matt was very courteous and efficiently assessed the problems and found the source of the bugs. It did not cost us anything extra, since we have a contract. Since he is the new area manager, he left his name and phone number so we could contact him directly in the future.

I had contacted Bulwark Exterminating to assist with a pigeon problem on the roof of my house earlier in the week. The gentleman I spoke to was very friendly and he claimed their reputation for customer service was important, etc. He informed me the "bird specialist" would be in contact with me within 24-48 hours. Keep in mind I contacted Bulwark and spoke with the representative on Monday January fourth. Unfortunately, I never received a phone call from the representative or the "bird specialist" as promised. I even left a message for the representative I had communicated with earlier in the week and once again no response from him either. I was willing to pay someone to handle the pigeon pests and I never received a returned phone call or follow-up response. Unfortunately, this is the worst customer service I have received and I suppose these people do not want my business. I would strongly discourage consumers from pursuing their services.

They always call ahead of time. They are very responsive and professional.

I think they're a wonderful company. They're very good. It's reasonable.

I did not have any dislike and my likes were that they were very forth coming and very prompt in responding to me. They answered all my questions and did everything I wanted them to do.

I initiated contact with Bulwark Exterminating on a Saturday and explained my situation as a recent move-in to a rental with a roach problem in which I felt too paranoid to sleep with the lights off. The gentleman on the phone worked very hard to get a technician assigned to our home for that Monday. Eric (our technician) arrived during the scheduled three-hour window and was very professional and thorough. He took the time to listen to my concerns and walked with me through the property so I could identify where we were seeing the most activity. Eric then explained the best plan of action and he quickly went to work treating both the exterior and interior of our home (including the garage). After Eric was finished, we walked through the areas previously shown and he explained what he did to each. At this time, Eric also assured me that if we saw ANY activity after one week to call the office and schedule to have him return (free of charge). Since we were still seeing pest activity inside, Eric has been out to our home once a week (at no additional charge) for interior treatment. We can finally say we have seen a HUGE reduction of pest sightings AND I am not sleeping with as many lights on as before. Bulwark Exterminating (Peoria) stands behind their services and I will continue to use them for the scheduled bi-monthly service once we have our pest problem under control. I would highly recommend this company!

From initial phone contact to the time the exterminator left the service was professional. We are most pleased. Quincy, our exterminator, was prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Great service all the way. We found them on Angie's List and we will continue to use them.

Went well, but we never had termites so I may have jumped the gun on getting services. Never any evidence of termites so cancelled the service.

They did the job but the treatment did not help with my scorpion problem.

I just received my first service from Bulwark and it was rather horrible. When the tech Nick arrived he asked if there were any issues I had been having. One of my main issues were the black widows and spider webs outside my home. He explained the process and also explained he would be de-webbing. He treated the inside of my home and stated he would b going outside to do treatment. After about an hour, I went to check on him and he was GONE. No notice, all the doors in my home were left unlocked and there were still spider webs on my patio. I called Bulwark to see what happened and they said they contacted him and he would be returning to de-web. When he returned he claimed he had de-webbed even though there were still spider webs present. He also stated that he had rung my door bell to notify me he was leaving. This is definitely not true because I have two dogs who are very alert when the door bell rings and they bark extremely loud because of it. When he left the second time he stuck a receipt on the screen of my patio door (rather than just handing it to me). I am extremely unhappy with this experience and the lack of professionalism. I will be lookin for another company for my pest control needs in the future. UPDATE: After the horrible first impression that the tech left, I received some rather aggressive follow up and for that reason I am changing this review from an overall F to a C. On 10/10 I spoke with Chuck (manager) who made sure that I did not pay for my first service due to the unacceptable and disappointing customer service experience. Honestly, I felt that was all I was going to hear about the situation. I did not lose any money and I was going to go find another company to do my exterminating in the future. However, yesterday I received a call from Eric, the quality control manager in the corporate office. Eric listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to make the situation better. Because of the follow up, I will be giving Bulwark another opportunity to exterminate my home in December. I believe that all companies have bad people but it doesn't necessarily mean the company is bad. Hopefully in the future, Bulwark can redeem themselves and earn and A.

We had a contract with them. They had been doing us for about a year. I used them initially on an Angie’s list deal. We liked the kid that was servicing and stayed with him. The young kid that services the . does a great job. They do good work I have no idea.

The technician was polite, informative about the service and the good news is that the insects I had when I first moved in have disappeared!

We have had them for more than a year now. The initial stuff, they do inside and outside, and after that, they just do the outside on a regular basis. They will do the inside if I request it. They do a good job. They are efficient. We don’t have any problems with their work so far.

We have used Bulwark for about a year now, and they have been great. Alex, our technician, always does a great job, and we haven't seen a pest since they started doing our service. The first time they come, they do the entire home, inside and out, and then every other month they will do the outside perimeter. If there is ever another issue inside, they will do the inside as well, at no extra charge. Alex is always very nice, polite, and professional, with just the right amount of conversation.

The service provided was excellent and thorough. They were on time, professional, and helpful. They not only treated for scorpions, but also an any problem we were unaware of. I had my doubts that the scorpion problem would be able to be corrected, because we seemed to be overwhelmed by them, but we haven't found one live scorpion since the treatment... plenty of dead ones though. I highly recommend this company.

I sent message through Angie's List the evening of 5/28 because I was in need of a Pest Inspection for a mortgage. When no one responded by 3:30pm 5/29 or as of the writing of this review for that matter, I called the office and was told they don't perform that service which is fine accept that it would have been nice to have them respond that to me in my message rather than not responding at all.
