I made an appointment for them to come give me a quote and they never showed up. Never called or nothing. I called them numerous times leaving messages. I waited for two hours for them. I was livid! Very unprofessional!

Hal Horner, the general contractor and owner of Builders of America, gives a thorough free estimate for his jobs and has subs meet with him and the homeowner (when needed) on the property to evaluate the scope of the work to accurately bid the job. I have met with both him and one of his subs (a roofer) about much needed renovation for my home office, a building adjacent to my house with a conjoined roof that has a few chronic leak issues. Window replacement, foundation sealing and other updates are also part of the needed work. Both Hal and his roofer inspired confidence and I recommend calling Hal to bid out your remodeling or renovation job. The roofer was the first (I had previous bids) to look beyond the obvious and discovered hidden issues contributing to the problem. When Hal bids your job you will learn a lot about what is needed for your renovation and you very well may end up wanting to go with Builders of America.

The job went great. Hal coordinated all the subs and personally did much of the work. Everything was one time and most under budget. Hal was so great he even watched our kids for us in a pinch.

Easy people to work with. The job went very well from the timeline to the quality of work. Hal was always there when each contactor started the job sometimes during the job and when they finished to make sure it was done right. All his contractors where friendly and willing to listen to what I had to say as a home owner. I would hire them again
