Branching Out Tree Service

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. Jim's bid was significantly lower than others we received. He advised us on work needed to promote healthy growth, provided a prompt estimate and supporting documents, and scheduled the work within a reasonable time period. His crew (they are terrific) arrived punctually and worked efficiently. They are both highly skilled and quite personable. We added some minor pruning to the original plan, which was done without additional charge. Jim met with us each (of 3) mornings to be sure the planned day's work met with our approval. We would have (indeed, have had) no hesitation in recommending Jim and his crew to anyone needing a skilled arborist and/or tree service.

. Professional in all respects. Jim responded promptly with an estimate and we received a date and time for the removal that was fulfilled as advertised. The two gents who performed the work were on time and extremely professional and knowledgeable in their work. Work, which included grinding the stump out, was accomplished in less than 2 hours. They cleaned the area, did no damage to either the landscape lighting or irrigation systems, and even cleaned the roof. You would never tell there had ever been a tree in that location . Would highly recommend them to anyone needing this service.

They were polite, did a good job, came on time, cleaned up well, and were very quick. Just excellent!

This company is the 'worst' !! ~First and foremost~ ... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY ! After a horrible experience with this company, I decided to do some research and found that this company is falsely advertising it's accreditation. This company advertises that their professional affiliations are with ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) ~ NO ! Jim Bredice is not a member or a certified Arborist or tree worker through ISA ... a complaint is now filed through ISA for false advertising. (they take this seriously) This company also advertises that they are a member of Tucson Small Business Association ~ NO, expired in 2011. This company IS a member of the BBB and a claim has been filed for property damage and false advertising. This company IS a member of the Tucson Chamber of Commerce and they will be contacted by the BBB with this current complaint. My experience with Branching Out Tree Service: This company was hired/contracted to trim a large mesquite tree .. under the mesquite tree was a beautiful manicured section of the property with many mature and beautiful agave plants. I planted 4 of the agave 3 years ago as small young plants and have watched them mature into beautiful adults. I personally took care of this patch of property with love and care as it is right next to my townhome. I would get many compliments on how beautiful the corner looks since I have moved in, as it was bare and stark before I lived here. On Friday 8/16/2013 the workers from Branching out showed up and I introduced my self as living in the complex. A few hours later, I went out to see the work and they had just left, I could see their truck going around the corner of the street ..... I was in shock and dismay as to the horror of what was left behind. There were 3 Agave of the 5 left and mangled ~ ALL the leaves and many were cut off probably because the were too damaged to leave on the plant. 2 of the agave were completely 'gone' ... just there small baby growth plants that had grown under them remained, and even their leaves had cuts on every leaf. The workers had left their large 'Quick Trip' soda cups on the ground, on my carport wall and behind other side bushes. I was mortified. The corner patch that I had planted, groomed and given much time and love to, was destroyed. I immediately got on the phone to call Branching Out Tree Service and spoke toYvette. I explained the situation and she told me that she did receive a call from the workers and told her that agave below the tree would be damaged ... however they continued with the job without calling anyone from the HOA. Yvette told me that the agave were fast growing plants if replaced ... yes, I know, I told her ... I said I planted 4 of the agave 3 years ago and have watched them grow .. her response in a condescending manner said ' you planted agave under a mesquite tree' ?? I thought, what does that have to do with all the damage that has occurred by this company. Yvette told me that the owner might be by to take pictures, that he was across town. I told her that I wanted to be home when he came by, and the pres. of the association would probably want to be there as well. Yvette told me she would let me know. Hours past and it was now almost 5pm, so I called Yvette again, she told me that the owner would not be by until next week. I told her that was not acceptable .. that property was damaged and the owner should be by sooner ... she replied, well I am part owner and I think that we need some time before we have another conversation. I thought WHAT ! what does that mean ... this company damaged, killed and destroyed plants and property. This company advertises that they quote: ' Improve and protect the value of your property', ' enhance curb appeal', ... that they are professional, that Jim is an Arborist (but is he) ... they use false advertising as to their professional affiliations. The bottom line is ... this company is not credible and to leave them in care of your property ... in my opinion ... would be a great mistake .... I truly wish I would have stood by and watched them ! These beautiful plants would still be alive and the remaining plants would not be a mangled mess. I am very disheartened and sad by this whole situation. DO NOT HIRE THEM !!!

This was a good experience. Punctual, professional, efficient, fair priced. Went by to check out the house while I was at work, which was nice. Arrived on time with a good sized crew & equipment. Trimmed trees back from roof & property line. Removed a small oaleander, properly disposed of all the debris. Even cleared out the gutters a bit, and a pleasant bonus was that the cleanup even got rid of all the mesquite pods from the yard (I hadn't gotten around to that yet). Will definitely recommend & use again.

They responded promptly to my call, arrived as scheduled, gave an estimate for the work which was very reasonable and did the work, cleaned up and left. I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by Branching Out.

First the good: the service was done quickly and the crew cleaned up completely. The bad: they did not honor the Angie's List coupon. Their communications were terrible. They seemed to disappear into a black hole, and I had to call several times to find out the schedule. I understand that it is hot in July, but 5:45am is simply too early to start using power equipment like chain saws in a neighborhood where working people and children sleeping.

After 5 or 6 days of hard freeze in Tucson, our previously healthy trees froze. Branching Out was prompt at arriving to give us an estimate and a work date. The arborist, Jim, and crew arrived when scheduled. Jim promptly started climbing into the trees, as he did the trimming himself. His crew of men worked well with him to keep the cut branches removed and our property cleaned. When they left, the grounds were cleaned and neat. They definitely know their jobs well and did what we asked in a much shorter time that we expected. We will use them again.

Detailed, clear quote... cost was fair and reasonable. Job booked in reasonable time (under 2 weeks). The crew showed up nice and early as expected and the chain saws were a'flyin ! All trees and debris cut and cleared per the quote. They moved on to the inevitable repair of irrigation lines that were cut during the stump grinding. These guys were AWESOME !

The crew arrived exactly as scheduled. They were very professional. It was amazing to watch them bring down my large sumac tree. They did a wonderful job cleaning up afterwards.

I had several contacts with the owner, and the office. This is a fine company: responsive, professional, and experienced. I am sorry they couldn't connect with me. It is a busy time.

it went very well . they were punctual and reviewed with me exactly what I wanted done. they frequently asked for my input on how much too trim and we decided together what the best approach was .I appreciated that because it was important that they not trim too much as my husband is very protective of his trees.

The crew arrived on time. They began work upon arrival. They did exactly what I wanted and cleaned up completely when they were finished. Work was done correctly and professionally.

The guys had to use my neighbors driveway and yard to access my property. My neighbors made a point of calling to tell me that the guys were extremely cautious and cleaned up after every move. The job of trimming the trees to preserve a mountain view, was done very well. They will definitely be my tree service of choice!

They worked thorough, work quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

A tree at our rental property was badly damaged during the monsoons and was all caught up in the power lines. The tree needed to be removed ASAP since more storms were on their way, and we were afraid that the tree would bring down the power lines. We called a couple places to get an estimate and Branching Out not only had the best price, but were very quick to give us an estimate. Once we gave them the go ahead, the tree was completely removed the next day. We will definitely be using their services again.

They are absolutely wonderful. The estimate was about 1/3 of what other companies wanted to charge me for the same work. They cleaned up after themselves and they are very nice people.

Whenever they come to perform any type of work they leave the area in perfect order. All trimmings are always removed.. The come when they say they will, and call ahead if they have to reschedule. We always look forward to see them because they are just the nicest group of fellas, very friendly and always more than happy to answer any questions. This is exactly the kind of people we LOVE to do business with. From 1 to ten we rate them a 20. By the way, we have gotten several wonderful comments from neighbors and passer-bye people. I loved comment that said "Your garden has never looked better!!!

After I called them, someone came out that afternoon to give a estimate. We set a appointment to trim my huge eucalyptus tree. The owner stopped by early the day of appointment to go over my expectations, in which he relayed to his crew. When the crew got to my house they knew exactly what I wanted. The crew consisted of three young men. All of them worked extremely hard and were very professional. They trimmed the tree exactly as I requested, with a great attitude. When all done they completely cleaned up my yard. I am extremely happy with this company, and would and have highly recommend them.

They were really good, Jim is the owner and the trained arborist and he was really knowledgeable at what to do. He gave us a quote and explained what it all meant and we hired him based on what his quote was. He showed up on time and brought his crew. They did a fabulous job. One year later and the trees are looking good. They were highly professional and very well trained.
