Description of Work: Replacement of Refrigerator Supply-Line Valve

Description of Work: We had Bert's replace a circuit panel and put in a new outlet in the kitchen of our rental home. We have also had them do work at our house involving a lifting station. We have had a very positive experience overall with them. They are available quickly and are very knowledgeable. It is a plus that they handle electrical and plumbing both. We knew the work would be expensive (plumbing/electrical usually are) but Bert's was willing to negotiate when we presented them with another valid estimate for one of the jobs. Definitely will be calling them for future work.

Description of Work: I called Bert's Plumbing to come and fix a leaking shower head. The technician they sent was way past his expiration date. His charge was $90.00/hr plus a truck charge of $48.00. He broke the turn on handle taking it off, did not have a replacement for either the handle or the part he had to replace behind the handle. He used my time (at $90/hr) to go to a supply house and get what he needed. Subsequently, the shower continued to leak. The boss of the company,, Craig,, came out and told us he fixed it, gave me a story about why I only thought it was leaking. I filled a big bucket in about 8 or 9 hours so I called him again. We went out and bought a new shower head and he installed it and said all was well. The bill I got from Bert's was about $450.00. I complained and Craig did take the truck charge and the new handle charge off. However, a second plumbing company came out and informed me that the wrong part was replaced. The took off the new handle (very ugly one) and replaced what was behind it. Then the shower stopped leaking. Bert's had mis-diagnosed the problem! Hence the bad rating I gave him.

Description of Work: . BERT'S ELECTRIC & PLUMBING gave us an estimate for a replacing the sewer line for a house that we were proposing to buy, but it turned out that we did not purchase it.

Description of Work: They put new guts into one toilet, fixed leak in same toilet, broke down and fixed several faucets and showerheads to repair leaks and lack of water flow.

Description of Work: My sewer line backed up. The company came and routed out the main line to the street and also clipped tree roots which were the problem. This was an emergency and the company was able to get someone to my house that same day.

Description of Work: Faucet leaks, toilet slow flushing.

Description of Work: I HAD HIM INSTALL A SHOWER IN THE BATHROOM.
