They were very nice to work with. We were pleased with most of everything that happened even though there were a few glitches. It was a good experience overall - it wasn?t perfect but it went well. We spoke with another provider who wanted quite a bit more to install the same kind of unit. I would recommend them and would use them in the future.

I wasn't here when they came out. Their prices were fair. They were professional and always showed up on time. They answered all the questions.

I was thoroughly impressed. Extremely knowledgeable technician who was very thorough. He explained well what was going on and how to fix it. He had all the parts he needed with him on his truck. I would give this company the highest possible rating. Wow!

I was surprised to find someone in the office at 5:30 on a Saturday. The woman that answered the phone was polite and efficient. She told us Jay would phone us within the hour. Jay was prompt and great to work with. He explained what he was doing and why, and told us why our system was actually quite a good one for its age.

I was without any cooling (AC and Swamp failed on the same 100 degree day!) and The Cooler Guy came to my house and analyzed the situation regarding my swamp cooler. It was rusted out and had to be replaced. They returned the next day and installed the new cooler and it was running within an hour of their arrival. After the swamp was installed, I decided to include the Magic Box swamp cooler water cycler to extend the life of my new unit. They returned a week later and installed the Magic Box and PVC drain Kit while I was at work. All of the employees were respectful, professional, and prompt.

It was a good experience. The service technician, Esteban, was professional and explained what he was doing and thoroughly answered my questions. It ended up costing more than I expected, but I was apprised of the work that needed to be done and approved it. It required a follow up visit to install parts which had to be ordered.

Called in the morning, service call scheduled for the same afternoon. Dispatcher called to tell me tech was on the way. Tech arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem. Tech was very professional.

Came on time, called ahead, found leak in line other company did not find. Tested over weekend, came back to complete job. Will return to check operation in warm weather. Very professional.

After 10 estimates and based a great deal on Angie's List comments, I selected this company. The salesman sold me up (from 3.5 tons to 4 tons), 7 of the others went down (3.5 tons to 3 tons). The salesman seemed to do a proper Manual J check, which I wasn't convinced some of the others had done (despite neighbors' recommendations of other companies). The salesman showed up on time, as did the installers, who seemed to do a good job. Work went smoothly. However, the installers couldn't show me how to work the programmable thermostat, which is always two to four degrees off. I set it at 70 degrees. Sitting three feet away, I'm freezing. A separate thermometer shows it's actually 68 degrees. The salesman ran over the programming once fast and referred me to the manual. I need to check with him about changing this, which he said was possible if it wasn't working properly, though he tried to tell me that such a discrepancy was no big deal. My old mercury thermostat seemed better. The company had no special deals for financing; their financing was more expensive than a credit card. Fortunately, I could pay cash, though I preferred not to shell out over $6,000 at once. Then, I was told about a special small refund from TEP. I filled out the paperwork and gave it to the salesman, thinking he was going to submit it. Instead, he sent it back to me to submit. Meantime, I thought it was my copy of the Manual J report that I had requested. In checking where the refund was, I found we had had a major misunderstanding. Hopefully, it's not too late to get the TEP refund. I'll have to take the paperwork to CopyMax to get it copied, an additional expense. I am not happy. I selected this company based on Angie's List comments, AZ Registrar of Contractors and after checking that it was a Trane installer, which requires special training. Also, I misunderstood the year's warranty on parts. It does NOT mean the company comes out twice a year to make sure things are working well. The maintenance agreement offered by this company is far less comprehensive than the company I currently have -- and no deal. I would have preferred to deal with the same company for both purchase and maintenance. This has been a real learning experience.

He did a very good job. The price was very low. He gasped when I told him what another company had estimated the work. He made it as clean as a whistle.

My gas furnace would not start, although it was working fine when I unplugged it last spring. I called B & J on a Thursday and because I waited to check my furnace until the coldest week in Tucson, it would be the following Tuesday until they could fix it. However, they gladly arranged to come at a time convenient for me, calling me at work about half an hour before the workman would arrive so I could take off a minimum amount of time and not have to wait around at home. The workman quickly determined two small problems and fixed both in about half an hour. My gas furnace is on the roof with a metal enclosure protecting it from the weather. I mentioned to the workman how difficult it had been (about 8 years ago) to find a company willing to install a furnace and ductwork in an old adobe house, and we realized that it was B & J that had installed it.

In Mid June, my home compressor burned out. I called eight companies for bids. B&J answered my call, took down my information. In less than an hour an estimator called and said he would be at my home. We talked over options. I told him I would be willing to pay extra for prompt service. He made a couple of calls, located a replacement unit, and gave me a price of $2500 to replace my unit. By 1 PM the new compressor was delivered to my home. The installer came at 5 pm By 9:30 my new unit was working. Same day replacement! The price I paid turned out to to be lower than four of the other estimates I got. Three firms didn't return my call for a week. We have used B&J for two subsequent jobs, and have been very happy with their work.

WHEN MY HUSBAND HAD CALLED, THEY WERE VERY FLEXIBLE AROUND OUR WORK SCHEDULE. THEY WORKED IN A TIMELY MANNER AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD. THEY SEEMED VERY HONEST AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT THEY WERE DOING.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY THAT I CALLED THEM. ALSO, THEY WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
