We used this company before for two repairs. Both of which were done timely and professionally. We were very satisfied with price and quick response. So we decided to give them opportunity to replace a 12-16 foot blind. Once again, such prompt and fair bid caused us to proceed using this company again. Date of delivery was sooner than they thought so they called and set a date for install. The two men who came to do that came on time and were friendly and professional. The blind was up and working and off they went in a very quick time.

Exceptionally well. Jeff, their window covering specialist, is a real professional and definitely knows his stuff. He pointed out things that I should be aware of in the future and showed me how to make minor fixes without having to call for help. His whole attitude and the way he conducted himself made this a very satisfying experience. The price was reasonable, too.. If we ever need this type of work done again, we would not hesitate to call B&D Install.

Our entire experience was very positive. We chose B & D installation from Angie's list because of A ratings and also because this company not only provided consultation, ordering and Installation but repair services as well. Brian came to our home within 2 days of my initial call. He gave us detailed information on the pros and cons of the pleated shade products he carried & had sample books for us to look through for material and color choices. While we were looking through the sample books, Brian measured all 9 windows. He then made a complete and detailed estimate of total costs for each window and total cost for the entire project. We had previously looked at Lowes, so were familiar with estimated costs to expect. Brian's estimate, with the Angie's list 10% off coupon, was very close to the Lowes estimate. We were told our pleated shades would be ready for install within 2-3 weeks. We received a call for installation in 1 1/2 weeks and were able to schedule an appointment within 2 days. Ian, the installation gentleman, was prompt, very professional, & completed installation of the shades for all 9 windows quickly and cleanly. There was no need for us to follow with clean up around any window. Ian also gave us instructions on the initial 24hour down position needed for the shades, then instruction on the best techniques for raising and lowering our shades for the best use and product longevity. We are very pleased with our entire experience with B & D Install.

We purchased window blinds through B&D Install six months ago. Recently one window blind stopped functioning correctly. I called B&D and they scheduled Jeff to come out within two days. As has been my experience with everyone at B&D, Jeff was great to deal with, quick and efficient at diagnosing and repairing the problem. He also gave me good advice on maintaining the blinds. I am so glad that I chose B&D for my initial blinds installation. Had I gone through one of the national chains, I sincerely doubt that my blinds would be fixed in two days, in my home, by a friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy individual, and at no cost whatsoever to me. These folks are simply the best.

Choices and guidance to select new blinds was excellent. Brian was very knowledgeable about the products (Graber and Hunter-Douglas) and the best options for my home. Because of the lighting, the color matches were challenging, but he let me take my time. There was no rush, and I was able to make choices that seemed appropriate. Although they were not the lowest bidder (I got two others for similar products and services), I could tell they were the highest quality by our initial interactions. And, most importantly, they worked around my window installation schedule and provided me with temporary shades to survive that process. The re-install of original coverings, and my 6 new window shades install went smoothly. And I am extremely happy with the choices I made for the new shades. They are absolutely perfect in terms of color and design. Plus, my the installer (Ian) suggested some modifications that help me (vertically challenged!) reach pull cords, etc. I would absolutely turn to them in the future for window coverings!

Jeff arrived right on time. He was very polite and professional. He did a great job with the repairs. He also explained how to upkeep the blinds so they would work well in the future. The service cost was very reasonable. I would definitely call this company again for blind repairs or to purchase new blinds.

Brian & everyone at B&D are fantastic! Brian was professional and knowledgeable in providing suggestions for our blinds, shades and Slide Vue based on our wants for our new home. Out of 3 quotes, we chose B&D due to competitive (and better) pricing, quality of Graber product, and overall customer reviews. Brian's focus was to ensure we purchased good-quality products that met our needs and desires, without pushing more expensive products. The blinds were manufactured and ready for install almost two weeks prior to the estimated date, and they were able to schedule the install within a few days. The installation team was professional, cleanly, and provided a clear overview of operation and cleaning of the different products. We had an issue with alignment on one of the cellular shades around 2 months after install, and B&D Install had Tony back out to fix the shade at no charge. Tony even went above and beyond to look at the other shades/blinds to ensure they were all operating properly. Proof that we would not only recommend, but use B&D Install services again; I contacted them to add one more blind to a high, above-entry window that we did not include in our initial order. Brian remembered who I was and was prompt in responding, providing quotes, and getting the manufacturing started. B&D Install is definitely a go-to option for anyone looking for blinds!!

Dealing with a knowledgeable, friendly locally owned, independent company is simply the best! Brian came to our home and gave very thoughtful advice on what would be the best type of window treatments given our unique windows and needs. He spoke candidly abut the many companies offering the treatments we were interested in, differing features, and their repair rates. He directed me to a very good brand that was in the mid-price range based on our conversation. Ian came out and installed the shades the very next week. He was professional, friendly, quick and efficient. The finished product looks and performs amazingly. I could not be more pleased with the service I received from B&D Install.

These people are reliable. They stand behind their work and make sure their blinds work. I have used them for several years after less positive experiences with other blinds companies in Tucson.

B&D Install was not the first company I contacted for window treatments or got estimates from. I looked around for quite awhile and then looked into B&D Install because they carried a product line few others had and I was considering but did not end up purchasing (although an excellent option). I decided to go with Hunter Douglas Duettes with Ultraglide on my windows and matching Vertiglides on my sliding doors. I am so happy that I found B&D Install; they have an excellent selection of products and Brian was so knowledgeable about the different products after many years of repairing and installing them. Brian was so patient and helpful and made excellent suggestions for the product, color and fabric selections. I ended up with the best solution to achieve what I wanted for my windows and sliding doors on the view side of my home thanks to his guidance. Brian was not pushy with sales and made many suggestions of options to keep my budget in mind without compromising my satisfaction. The price quote was competitive and fair and I was happy to place my order with B&D Install. The window treatments arrived promptly and I was called right away to set up the installation. Tony did the installation, was very professional, and everything looks and operates perfectly. B&D Install is very professional, prompt, courteous, and helpful and the prices are competitive. I would not hesitate to recommend B&D Install to anyone, and I hope to do business with them again in the future when I get custom Valances made for my windows and doors. Hopefully I won't need them for the repair side, but it's a bonus to know if I do they are there to help me and take care of any problems as they are a full service repair shop, and I have the protection of the Hunter Douglas Warranty. Did I mention that Brian is awesome! Thank you Brian! If I sound like an advertisement it's because I am that happy with the experience! FYI: I did look at other manufacturers than Hunter Douglas but I LOVE the Ultraglide lift system and they are the only one who has such a system. A little pricier, yes, but for the excellent quality of the products, lifetime warranty and slick lift system I was willing to pay the extra price knowing I would be happier in the long run. I had Duette's with Ultraglide in my last home for 15 Years and never had a single problem with them.

When I spoke to the owner I was considering replacing the vertical blind, but he recommended checking it out to see if it could be re-hung. He was pretty confident it could. He then said at the same time they would re-string the mini blind at my home. The technician, Jeff, arrived right on time. I showed him what needed to be done, as well as a third small task I needed (installing a part in another vertical blind. I had the part already.) He set about anchoring the vertical blind into a steel frame above the plaster. He then installed the part on another vertical blind and last he did the mini blind. All the work took about 2 hours. I was very satisfied with the work done and the professionalism of the technician, Jeff. I was also satisfied with the price, which was as quoted by the owner. Overall an A+ experience.

Jeff was prompt, courteou, knowledgeable, and after finishing the main assignment, fixed another blind for me at a very very reasonable charge. These guys are great. Judy Markey Tucson

I've used them before in 2009 to repair blinds in a home I rented. They weren't easy for me to get to but they did such a good job. They were very cordial. I would highly recommend them even though there are other businesses closer to me. They were a little pricey. I would use them again.

Excellent service. John called with an estimate ($264.00) on fixing the problem. I hesitated on the amount and asked how much to replace the blinds with new double cell. John offered to have Nancy call me back with an estimate. After hanging up we decided to have them repaired so I called John and told him to replace the cords. After one day he called and said our blinds were homesick and ready to come home. The blinds look new, they replaced a few plastic pieces that were cracked, cords were wound and sealed in plastic, both blinds were covered in a plastic bag. They work like brand new blinds. Great work plus the show room has some new products displayed which I've never seen before.

This company did an outstanding job on my blind repairs. And the cost was completely reasonable--I would have done it soon if I'd known how little it would cost. The technician arrived on time, and fixed the blinds within about an hour. He re-tensioned the strings properly, and they have been working better than ever before for the past 6 months or more. I will be going to this company for any and all future need for window coverings or repairs.

We had an accordion shade that was stuck and would not move. Brian came by, replaced the clutch and cord and removed excess weights from the bottom of the shade. It's been working well ever since.

They were very punctual and efficient. They came out in a timely manor. They tested their work to make sure the job was completed correctly. They were wonderful, I would recommend them to others.
