AZTEC FLOORING

Tile selection and purchase experience was good. My wife and I were always well taken care of in the Oracle Rd. store. The design work by Eva and Karla was also good. The installation was poor; major portions had to be reworked, some twice. Some of the installation was not done in accord with the agreed-upon design and had to be revised. (We agreed to some changes in the design proposed by the installers as the project progressed.) The installers mistakenly ripped out tile in our master bath, which was not part of the project. (Aztec admitted to the mistake & offered restitution.) Original installation work had tiles set at substantially varying elevations and spacing. Second pass had most of the height problems fixed but gaps still varied between 3/32" and 3/8". Also, they neglected to install one decorative strip of 2x2" tiles; another deco strip was poorly aligned; demo'd tile crumbs were left under dishwasher; holes were left in grout, etc. All was eventually made acceptable.

1. This was done in a timely fashion and done with loving care. They treated my home as it was theirs. 2. This was done in a timely fashion also and care was given to future issues with potential mold. Very professionally done!
